Sentinel and EnterpriseA Fitchburg State University senior who is one of the organizers of Saturday’s Boston Free Speech rally said on Tuesday the event is “going forward” though some speakers have dropped out.

“We feel like we have a duty to see this through and make sure it is as organized and clean and coordinated and, most importantly, as safe as possible,” FSU senior John Medlar told WCVB on Tuesday, adding organizers are telling protesters “not to bring overly inflammatory symbols” like swastikas or Confederate flags.”

On Wednesday, FSU President Richard Lapidus sent an email to the university’s student body letting them know that “one of our students may be an organizer” of the rally without mentioning Medlar by name, but also referencing “another student” that recently sent him a letter about the Boston rally.

Lapidus, in the email, said: “The university does not have any involvement in the Boston Free Speech event. … We do not support groups or individuals that infringe upon others’ rights, espouse hate speech, or commit acts of violence” and that the institution has “zero tolerance for bigotry and violence.”

Boston Free Speech posted a flier on Facebook describing the upcoming rally as a gathering of the “New Free Speech Movement,” the News Service previously reported. The flier encourages President Donald Trump supporters, libertarians, conservatives, traditionalists and “classic liberals” to attend on Saturday and “reassert their right to the most basic necessity of civil society.

In a WCVB interview, Medlar said he is a libertarian and not a member of the alt-right, and denounced hate groups like neo-Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan. Medlar is the chapter leader of Young Americans for Liberty at Fitchburg State University, according to the group’s website, though Lapidus said the university does not have a recognized chapter of that organization. Young Americans for Liberty is a nonprofit focused on libertarian values and free speech that formed at the end of former Texas Congressman Ron Paul’s 2008 presidential campaign and operates via chapters on college campuses.

Listen to what these idiots are saying – they don’t welcome a free speech rally. That’s the most 1984 thing I’ve ever heard. Social justice warriors never miss out on a chance to use a horrible tragedy to curtail basic civil rights and liberties. They do it every time someone gets shot. They do it every time they hear speech they don’t like. There’s nothing more that SJWs hate more than basic civil rights and liberties because they believe it will prevent a hypothetical tragedy in the future.

This kid from FSU who is one of the organizers of this free speech rally, a rally that the Mayor of Boston said was NOT welcome in his city (the same city where the American Revolution began), specifically stated that Nazi and Confederate flags should be left at home. He’s trying to distance himself with that crowd. So what’s the problem?

And just look at this quote from FSU President Richard Lapidus:

The university does not have any involvement in the Boston Free Speech event. … We do not support groups or individuals that infringe upon others’ rights, espouse hate speech, or commit acts of violence” and that the institution has “zero tolerance for bigotry and violence.”

Oh good, you don’t support groups or individuals that infringe upon the rights of others. So you’re gonna be supporting the free speech rally, correct? I mean, free speech is the most basic right there is. If you don’t support that, then it might be you who is the Nazi. Just sayin.

More importantly, why does he feel the need to say that they have zero tolerance for bigotry and violence? Can you please point out where the YAL is violent or bigoted? Because I looked them up on the Internet machine. They were started by Ron Paul – a guy who punches the clown to the Constitution and isn’t even remotely close to being anything that would resemble racist. Most people don’t know who he is because he doesn’t address controversial topics and mostly complains about things the majority of Americans don’t care about. Like auditing the Federal Reserve. The most controversial thing this group has ever done was hand out free cigarettes at a college campus that had banned outdoor smoking.

But yea…..Nazis. Everyone who has an opinion that I haven’t approved of is a Nazi.

That’s what sucks about this weekend – it proved that there are actual Nazis in America. They gathered in Charlottesville and made fools of themselves. Now people are using this as an excuse to label anyone who wants to exercise their First Amendment rights as a Nazi. Just look at this kid’s Facebook page:

Here’s some of the commentary that followed:

“Explain all your dealings.” Hmmmmm…sounds a lot like…..”Show me your papers!!” Explain myself? OK. Fuck you. That’s my explanation. Take your Antifa flag and stick it directly up your ass through your black skinny jeans. There’s my explanation.

Since YAL and this kid clearly are not Nazis, they play the game of mutual association:

Weird how Hillary Clinton gets a free pass with all the Nazi stuff. Ya know, because her mentor was a high ranking member of the KKK. But it’s cool now because he changed.

“You do not get to have racist views disguised under free speech.” Actually, you do. You can have whatever views you want. This is how freedom works.

“YOUR free speech is simply not as big a deal as other people’s safety.”

Ya know who says stuff like that? Nazis, communists, and fascists. This is what Kim Jong-Un does to his people, and the rationale he uses to silence them. Speech is dangerous. It could lead to rebellion. We must silence all opposition to the state. Your silly rights no longer exist because the potential exists that someone might get physically injured by your words.

Of course this is what we’re dealing with:

Nuff said.

A key component of fascism is the “forcible suppression of opposition.” That’s what this woman and other Nazis like her do. They see opposition and they suppress it. And they do so by hiding behind the false flag of “anti-racism.” Because anyone who disagrees with them is a racist.

Also loved this from Rayellen:

“You already have more power as a privileged white boy. Shut up and listen.”

Key word – “shut up.” Stop talking. Your opinions are wrong and mine are right. In order to silence you I’m going to hide behind a completely false narrative that your white penis gives you more power. Only black and brown people and women are allowed to share their opinions freely, because they have less power. Yup, that makes sense!!

Rayellen also happens to live in Lunenburg. It’s a lovely town. It’s also 0.69% black. That’s what is so hypocritical about these frauds. They claim to be champions of anti-racism, but yet they’ve intentionally chosen to live in almost exclusively white communities. Not that there’s anything wrong with living in Lununburg. You’ve just completely surrendered your right to ever call anyone else a racist. If you’re not a racist then put your money where your mouth is and live in a diverse neighborhood. But of course you’re not willing to do that because at the end of the day you’re scared of people who like differently than you.

Then there was this:

Yup, he should be expelled. For free speech. Nothing dangerous about that. Nazi!!

Oh look, a vague threat of physical violence. Why else mention that you outnumber them 100 to 1? Good luck with what?

Yea, Fascists have been known to be big on free speech. It’s a hallmark of most totalitarian regimes. Meanwhile, I’ve got a question for you Emmett McCleary…..

Why are you drinking white wine, white milk, while eating pasta with white sauce out of white dishes and having the whitest name in American history? Looks like it might be you who is the Nazi. Nazi!!

And morons wonder why Turtleboy is anonymous. Oh I dunno, because we use our free speech rights to say common sense things that most people agree with and in return people want us to die for it. You see what happens when you put a face to it – you get branded as a Nazi, by actual Nazis.

This page certainly has all the information I needed concerning this subject and didn’t know who to ask.

This guy is too cute. A libertarian who goes to a public, state university. Isn’t that adorable? I’m all for free speech, and frankly didn’t take the time to read the above screed, but love the irony of a right wing, libertarian, free market guy taking advantage of a hallmark of socialism in the form of affordable, state subsidized institutes of higher learning. Shouldn’t he be studying in his basement while “attending” The University of Phoenix?

The racist ones actually think others are the racists one. They support the cop killers, the infringe upon others rights. They call others hateful names. And they come from a party that created The Great Society aka The Modern Plantation. Unbelievable

If don’t have a gun, now would be a good time to get one.

In the words of Phil Graham, former senator in Texas, speaking at an NRA convention:

“Eyes got more guns than I need… and less guns than I want.”

if you have enough land, and a backhoe, might not be a bad idea to bury a few 10′ sections of sealed PVC pipe, complete with AR-15’s wrapped in oil soaked rags, and lots of ammo…. The gun grabbers will be comin’ a knockin’ soon.

Those that do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it… history revisionism, censorship of “acceptable” speech, confiscation of guns… hmm…. where have we seen these things occur in the past, and what was the outcome?

My favorite Chrit Beth FB post:

“Stop f***ing telling POC how to defend themselves. And f**k your non-violent MLK garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

    I guess that explains everything.

Nothing new here. The alt-left, haters and fascists are doing their thing as usual. No free speech, think and act like us or we’ll throw a baby fit. People died for first amendment rights, they actually gave up their lives in battle and elsewhere.

They called Gov. Tim Pawlenty a Nazi when he spoke at the Boston Tea Party Rally April 15, 2011. Thugs held up banners to block the stage and chanted and screamed to disrupt a legally permitted assembly. (An assembly about excessive taxation and deficit spending.)

After the Marathon Bombing on taxpayer-funded NPR, counter-terrorism expert Dina Temple-Raston was blaming the bombing on “…anti-government, and right wing, individuals,” pointing out that the Boston Tea Party had held a rally on the Saturday before.

Free speech exists so long as you tow the line and don’t say anything with which the SJW’s will disagree. Anything else is hate speech. Welcome to the new America!

Perhaps a lawsuit for falsely accusing him of being a Nazi is in order. I saw some nutcase on MSNBC the other night saying that any Republican who doesn’t leave the Republican party after what Trump said during Tuesday’s news conference is a racist. Unbelievable!

I’m 45 years old, and for the first time in my life, I’m genuinely scared of the direction this country is going. And the sad thing is, most of this is coming from ordinary people using social media and now mob violence.

John Medlar need not worry. If he gets expelled, the ACLU will defend him and sue the college on his behalf. Hey, what’s so funny? Stop laughing at me.

Free speech is a bad thing? Wow! America is doomed! The anti free speech crowd is really stepping in it this week.

Who the hell are all these white motherfuckers that think their opinions matter? I am white, but I am certainly not going to run out and start beating people, or telling them to shut up because my opinion is superior to theirs. Get a job and get a life SJWs! Snowflakes obviously hate the Constitution, they should all just leave.
