Did you know that it’s racist to chant USA at a sporting match that team USA is not playing in? Well, at least that’s the rule if you’re playing Broctkon High School. Wait until you see this story from the Brockton Spark:

In the final minutes of the MIAA D-1 south section quarterfinal boys basketball game on Friday night, March 4, Brockton had cut their double-digit deficit to only five points, but the writing was on the wall. A block of Mansfield High School student fans — dressed in red, white, and blue, and many waving American flags — began chanting “USA” and patriotic music began playing over the loud speaker. To many of those present, including former Brockton High School student Noube Rateau, the chants were a blatant implication that Brockton players and fans — many of whom are immigrants — were un-American.

“It was the USA chant as a taunt that got me mad,” Rateau explained. “I didn’t get the sports concept behind it. The fact that it was so planned was the worst part.”

Brockton School Committee member Brett Gormley did not attend the game, but when he heard about the fans’ behavior he sent an email to the Mansfield School Committee.

“It happened when I was playing,” Gormley said of what he called the “racially charged” taunting. “It’s not a surprise anymore. I’ve seen it happen with many teams (against Brockton).”

Rateau, who recently spent time traveling to dozens of high school games across the state filming his documentary Out of Bounds: Sports in the Inner City agreed that he saw “isolated incidents” of race-based taunting, but, “not as planned or orchestrated as Mansfield.”

Gormley asked the Mansfield School Committee to “make sure that this matter is addressed appropriately by the MHS administration and staff,” and received a response from Chairman Michael Trowbridge, who offered an apology to Brockton students and said he has never witnessed that type of behavior at the school. Trowbridge passed the information along to the Superintendent of Mansfield Public Schools and the high school athletic director for potential further action.

Brockton High School boys basketball coach Bob Boen said he did not take notice of the chants on Friday night.

“When I’m coaching I miss the chants. I don’t really hear what they’re saying,” Boen explained. “I’m usually yelling at the kids on the court, so I don’t hear the crowd much.

“I don’t think any of my players were upset about it though. We got a good level-headed group…I even tell the team before every game, don’t listen to the crowd. I just thought the USA stuff was their theme. I mean, we’re USA too, Brockton USA. I was under the impression it was just USA night and we were there.”

Gormley and Rateau both said they blame the adults — the administration and the parents — more than the students, but that this should not become “normal” behavior.

“I teach high school so it’s personal,” Rateau said.

“I’m here for the (Brockton High) students,” Gormley said. “We have to protect them.”

I’ve seen a lot of insane, ridiculous, manufactured instances of imaginary racism before, but this one might take the cake. How bout we start with the most important part about this – no one on the Brockton basketball team seems to give a shit, including the coach. This whole thing is being led by two guys – Noube Rateau (a teacher in Lynn) and Brett Gormley (a Brockton School Committee member who admittedly was not at the game). Here’s something Noube Rateua recently posted on Facebook:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 9.09.12 PM

In other words, this is a man with a clear agenda. He has Trump on the mind and thinks that Trump has brainwashed the white American public to convert to racism in his honor. Good thing he’s a teacher.

And as mentioned, Brett Gormley was NOT at the game, so his opinion on any of this is pretty irrelevant. Nevertheless, he decided to insert himself into the conversation:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 9.06.38 PM

“Intentional or not.” That’s some hardcore whitesplaining right there. So even if Mansfield fans had no racist intentions, it’s not OK because this politically correct white guy from Brockton didn’t approve of it first? Makes sense. Once again, this is what the Brockton coach said:

“I don’t think any of my players were upset about it though.”

So the black kids on the team don’t give a shit, but the white guy on the School Committee is telling them they should be. And naturally they should do and feel as the white guy tells them they should.

Here’s another fun fact from Hockomocksports.com reporter Ryan Lanigan:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.56.02 PM

Boom. Roasted. Seriously, how dumb does this girl feel? This right here is the face of PC white guilt:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.55.22 PM

I swear to God, everything comes back to Trump. But the fact of the matter is that Ryan Lanigan has seen Mansfield play dozens, if not hundreds of time. If anyone had bothered to ask him, since he’s a reporter and all, he could’ve ended this immediately by pointing out that this USA themed night was just one in a long series of themed nights for the Mansfield boys basketball teams, which just so happens to be one of the best teams in the state every year:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.54.57 PM

Oh, and here’s a picture we found from the fan section that night:

10658215_1690633891219887_1636342135_o

And here’s a tweet from March 3, the day BEFORE the game:

https://twitter.com/JoeBukuras/status/705487830311686145

As you can see, the plan was clearly to wear red, white, and blue in order to show pride for both their school and their country. Then again, these are just facts. Of course Brett Gormley didn’t see any of these Mansfield fans dressed in red, white, and blue because he was not at the game. Had he been there, or maybe just asked around, he could’ve figured the truth.

Nah, that’s too much work. Better just accuse them of being racist instead. Solid leadership from the School Committee in Brockton.

Oh yea, and there’s this tweet from a Brockton Enterprise reporter during the game:

Oh, looks like an unbiased spectator thought it was good ol’ fashioned patriotic fun. He must be racist too.

Ya know what should’ve been the dead giveaway that this wasn’t some racist thing the kids were doing? The fact that the Mansfield administrators were playing patriotic music over the loud speakers. Look, if it was the kids from Mansfield doing shit on their own, they might have a leg to stand on. But how dumb do you have to be to believe the Mansfield administration is purposely going to taunt the Brockton players with patriotic music because some of them happen to be immigrants?

Answer – very dumb.

Here’s another thing – how gutless is Mansfield School Board chairman Michael Trowbridge? He already issued an apology!!! Without doing ANY basic research. Just a knee jerk reaction from an administrator who was too gutless to stand up to the PC bully police. How can anyone in Mansfield ever have any faith in this clown ever again? He just SOLD OUT your children. He joined the mob of dingleberries calling your innocent, patriotic kids racist because he wasn’t man enough to tell Brett Gormley to sit down and shut up. I guess I’ll refrain from bad mouthing this Trowbridge guy too much since he’s a Facebook karate champion:

Here’s some more hot takes from the peanut gallery:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.53.18 PM

Oh God, it’s like Nathan Pickens reproduced. Love how he starts off his accusation of racism by calling anyone who disagrees with him a cracker. Nothing ironic or racist about that. Oh wait, I forgot, he can’t be racist because he’s not white. That really is the greatest trump card of all time. It’s like the polio vaccine for accusations of racism.

Tattoos Massachusetts

Keep in mind, it’s people like Stephen Darosa that both the Brockton and Mansfield School Committee chairmen are catering to. They are siding with this guy:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.53.29 PM Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.53.37 PM Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.53.45 PM Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.53.51 PM

What a brilliant and eloquent man. We should definitely take his accusations of racism seriously. Definitely.

Just gonna throw this one out there.

12822960_1690633921219884_2043101712_o

Just sayin.

unnamed-19

It’s OK though, because the whole town of Mansfield is racist:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.53.10 PM

Oh you were pulled over for having your license plate light out? You mean like every other person who drives around with a license plate light out? That’s so weird.

And this:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.54.17 PM

Oh “they believe they represent the US more than Brockton because they’re white?” So, like, did they tell you this? Oh they didn’t? Looks like you’re just assuming it’s racist then. Good call. Always a better idea to assume racism first and figure out the facts later.

Then there’s this rocket scientist:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.51.45 PM Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.51.36 PM

Strong points by my man Jeffrey Underwood. Massachusetts is the most racist state in the country. Everyone knows that. Black people are historically much more welcomed in progressive communities like Mississippi and Alabama.

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.52.36 PM

Hey Jessica, racism is the “topic of discussion” in this country because people like yourself refuse to talk about anything except for race. But I guess you’re right. Since Mansfield does a different theme for every game they should’ve checked their privilege and made sure you approved of the American themed night, ON THEIR HOME COURT, before tipping off against Brockton. Because everyone has an obligation to check in with the PC police before doing anything.

Then there’s this brilliant analysis:

Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 8.49.02 PM

Ah yes, “Who’s your Daddy” is also a racist chant because a white girl from Brockton says it is. Gotcha. Never mind the blatantly racist thought process that would have to occur in order for you to assume that this chant is racist because Michelle assumes that black kids don’t know their Dad’s. Don’t tell Pedro Martinez it’s racist either!!!

Who's your daddy

pedro-martinez-whos-your-daddy

The bottom line is that Mansfield won this game by 4. If Brockton had won we would never have heard anything about this. But since this one poopsmooch, Noube Rateau, was so butthurt that his team lost the game, he had to turn it into a racial thing. Then of course the white guy on the School Committee tried to play the white knight social justice warrior and made a federal case out of it. Now an entire school of innocent CHILDREN is being labeled racist by a group of politically correct, politically motivated ADULTS. Shame on everyone involved in this.

The bottom line is is that we live in a country where everything MUST be about racism. This is INSANE that you can’t even chant USA anymore because it’s racist to be patriotic. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you don’t want Trump to be President then you need to tell these idiots to shut up. Because shit like this is the reason why Trump is popular. You created this monster, and now you’re gonna have to live with it.

I’m amazed Hillary hasn’t hitched her wagon to this story! Votes, votes, votes…at any cost to this country!

Chairman Michael Trowbridge, who offered an apology?? That Sally will get some type of feel good liberal award fro the Mass Teachers Association for that act of cowardice. And taking it another rediculous step he has passed it along for potential further action? What action? Maybe cancel the Pledge of Alligence and replace the American flag in front of the school and classrooms with a white flag of surrender? I sure hope the Brockton racebaiters doesn’t play Lexington or Concord.

The silent majority has been awakened by so many false claims and perceived slights. The hippies are pathetic when they claim statement like “working hard is the American way” is some how imaginary racism or in this case “USA”. The professional victims have over played their hand for some time now. Time for the Anvil to drop.

False claims of racism is creating more racism. Every time some inner city dolt brings up the perceived slights they are in fact being racist.

I cannot remember the last day I did not hear the word “racism” or “racist” from a media outlet!! Getting a little crazy! Why don’t we just rename this country, so we are sure not to offend any immigrants that VOLUNTARILY come to this great land!!!! What would be the most neutral name…? Maybe we can take a word from every country and every ethnicity, just to be absolutely certain to be non-discriminating and all-inclusive. What a joke!! “Land of the Free”…remember that little slogan??? Soon to be meaningless!!

I heard North Korea is very nice this time of year; please move there and get out of our free country if you disagree with the USA theme and chant or believe it is racist.
I am sure Kim Jong Un will welcome you with open arms and a big hug to soothe your imaginary hurt feelings!

My kids go to high school basketball playoff games and they have a theme for each of them. One night it’s a color night and the next night may be a costume night. It’s just a way for the kids to show school spirit. All high schools do this kind of thing. These fake race victims just want to make themselves the center of attention and remove anything that “they” find even remotely offensive. And if Jeffrey Underwood thinks Massachusetts is “racist ass” then he can just move to Baltimore. He’ll fit right in.
