Turtleboy Sports went down to the safety meeting at North High School last night because it’s a topic that is of concern to the public. We were denied because it was not open to the press, which is insanely ridiculous. The ultimate irony was there was a police officer on hand for a crowd of less than 100 for a period of 2 hours, yet she opposes having a police officer in the school when 1,400 kids roam the halls for 7 hours a day, 180 days per year. Instead of being allowed inside we were rejected and met with this closed door.
The parents had less than 24 hours notice, and instead of putting some sort of message about the meeting on the sign outside of the school, it only said this vague message:
Oooooookkkaaaaaayyy.
Luckily we had the chance to speak with a visibly pissed off School Committee member and a North High senior, who were not happy with the way Melinda Boone was throwing this shit show together. Read about what happened in our article on GoLocalWorcester.

Mary Keefe is a complete clownshow!! The people of her district should be ashamed of themselves!! Get out to the polls and vote her out of office. Her small group of hippie protesters show up at the polls and this hack wins elections with a couple hundred votes……get to the polls and vote out this tax mongerer!!!

I loved how they gave the parents less than 24 hours notice, then were shocked when only 30 showed up. It was almost as if Boone planned this so there’d be a low turn out and she wouldn’t get called out for refusing to follow the wishes of the parents whose taxes pay her exorbitant salary.
So, when did Worcester get moved back to the Soviet Union?
Do the right thing……..and let the police enforce the law. And just how do justify keeping taxpayers out of a building they own?
