So the other day at a Trump rally in Rock Hill, SC, a Muslim woman was kicked out for wearing a shirt that said, “I come in peace.” She was allegedly heckled and booed on the way out, and some people even yelled “she has a bomb.”

How’d you like to be the couple to her left?

All you wanted to do was go down to a Trump rally, eat your popcorn, chant “build a wall,” “send em back,” and “death to Bowe Bergdahl,” and as it turns out your just so happened to choose the seats directly adjacent to the Muslim protesters.

Yea, so, that’s not good. Here you have this woman who is doing EXACTLY what we want more Muslim people to do – come in peace and assimilate themselves into the community. She went directly into the most hostile and unwelcoming environment possible, not to shout down Trump or anyone else, but meet people and let them know that she is a peaceful person just like them.

This of course is the ugly side of Trump. It doesn’t mean that Trump is a bad guy, it just means that he attracts the worst of the worst. And if you think this shit is cool, then you’re not Turtleboy’s kind of guy. The woman didn’t disrupt the protest. She didn’t say a word. She just came there to let you know that she came in peace, and she was kicked out and heckled as a result of it.

Look, we’ve seen this first hand. This Turtleboy was at the Trump rally at the DCU Center. It was a great time and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. But the bottom line is that there were some people there who obviously have never voted before in their lifetime, and were missing a few chromosomes. And they were the loudest ones there.

Yesterday in Worcester there was a “meet a Muslim” day at the local mosque in Worcester. Turtleboy didn’t go because we knew exactly what it was going to be – a political lovefest. We did have some people there who couldn’t even find a parking space because it was so packed. State Senator Harriet Chandler and Jumpin Joe Petty were holding court there all day, so they could go home and tell everyone how progressive they were.

Naturally the Telegram and Gazette didn’t bother covering this event, which attracted over 1,000 people. Because as you know, the Telegram is a joke and not a real newspaper.

Turtleboy has been rather critical of this particular mosque, not because we think all Muslims are inherently bad, but because their leadership has justified mass murder in the name of Allah on more than one occasion:

Screen-Shot-2015-11-15-at-9.30.37-PM-2

So yea, it’s pretty shitty when one of your leaders goes on the record and blames the victims of a terrorist attack for provoking the terrorists with their free speech.

But nevertheless, this “meet a Muslim” day is a great gesture and a huge step forward. A common complaint about moderate Muslims is that they are not vocal enough. So what do they do? They held a meet and greet to show the community that they’re just regular people too. And that’s pretty neat.

And just for the record, the world won’t end if Trump gets elected President. He doesn’t actually believe that Muslims should be banned from coming here, he just realizes that there are millions of dumbass Americans out there who he can manipulate, and their vote counts just as much as anyone else’s.

But make no doubt about it – this is the EXACT SAME THING that Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren and company have been doing for years – blanketing people under an umbrella and demonizing them. Making up lies and using hyperbole to rally the base and get elected. There is an imaginary “war on women” in the United States. There will be a ban on Muslims if Trump is elected. They’re all just lying and using you to get elected. The quicker you realize that the quicker you’ll realize that none of this shit actually matters, and your day to day life is a million times more affected by Ed Augustus than it is by Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or Donald Trump.

Is no one going to comment on the Star of David the two Muslims are wearing on their clothes? They are essentially comparing Trump and his opinion on illegals and refugees entering our country to Hitler and his final solution. It was distasteful and inappropriate. Then again, when has a radical Muslim ever been concerned with the feelings of a Jew or any Christian? If a Catholic or Protestant wore that star and tried to make a political statement they would be crucified (pardon the pun) by the liberal media. NO ONE who wears a symbol of the holocaust to a political rally comes in peace. Lets not kid ourselves by playing devils advocate for these race/religion baiting assholes so we can all seem PC and feel safe.

Hey numb nuts, you are exactly right:

“No RADICAL Muslim has ever been concerned…with a Jew….”

It is a very appropriate name tag to wear. The comparison to Hitler is apt.

And no, imbecile, I’m not a liberal. I’m not PC. Are all Muslims peaceful? Of course not. Are all Muslims violent? Of course not.

Are all Catholic priests child abusers? Of course not. But some are.

Are all anti-abortion protestors bombers and mass murderes? No, but they do have a lot more in common with ISIS than not. They are both radical religious sects who think that if we don’t believe what they believe we should be killed. And they both target public safety personnel.

So be careful who you target and how. The reality might scare you.

Right on, TurtleBoy. Keep up the good work.

Numbnuts, imbecile? You are clearly not a mature person willing to be respectful and debate with reason or any sense of grace. Attitudes like yours are the epitome of what is wrong with political discussion our country today. I won’t dignify any of your comments with a counter argument or insults. May God Bless you with that attitude in life, you will need all the help you can get.

Ok fuckface, are you saying being pro-life is being more in common with a death cult. I guess when you grow up and learn abortion is a death penalty for an innocent life you’ll start carrying a black flag. Rewash your brain please, start over.

And the biggest lesson of the holocaust,Americans are failing at right now. Hitler ran his death cult under Christianity no one spoke up for the minority in Germany and Europe lives with that guilt everyday (minus a couple European countries). They were Jews. Hitler called them enemies of the state(or “terrorists”). History cannot repeat itself that’s why she’s absolutely correct to wear it,she’s a Muslim-American with equal protection under the law.

So this is funny. The expanded readership of the blog is obviously bringing in out of town “conservative” types that believe a single guy writes all the blogs.

    Round two of the conspiracy.

Hey Turtle Boy! In defense of the T&G while they didn’t cover anything – they DID promote the event quite a bit and took a lot of heat from their commenters for it. But despite our rocky history together Turtle Boy – I want to thank you for this nice statement acknowledging what we are trying to do – “But nevertheless, this “meet a Muslim” day is a great gesture and a huge step forward. A common complaint about moderate Muslims is that they are not vocal enough. So what do they do? They held a meet and greet to show the community that they’re just regular people too. And that’s pretty neat.” Thanks so much. We can agree to disagree on some issues – we don’t think br Tahir Ali was in any way condoning the Charlie Hedbo attacks but rather trying to help people understand why these things are inflammatory. I think you’ve misrepresented his statements. Tahir’s a really nice easy-going guy and he’s totally harmless nor does he believe that killing of innocents is justified – ever.

You should read this article on BreitBart.com. According to this article there’s a lot more to this story–lady has a history of radical views, and the person beside her is her lawyer, who shares those views. Not just some random sweet person off the street.

There is a Muslim enclave in the middle of nowhere in the same county as Rock Hill, SC.

Just for giggles are one of the turtles working on a story about the Philly cop who was ambushed this weekend by a Muslim terrorist while he sat in his squad car?? Maybe you could cover all the outrage from the Muslim community over the ambush ?

That cop is an American hero and hardly any news on it..Arm shattered from the bullets and he still gets out and shoots the guy in the ass…Non story here on the working mans blog now that you have had a change of heart ??

It is getting pretty easy to see which TB author writes which story..TBS who brought you the link between the Armory robbery and the Muslim mosque..One of those step forward and come together moments ?? Amazing what a few weeks does for someone

She wanted a reaction and received exactly what she wanted…If not she would have dressed normally ..Still could have worn her head gear and would have been left alone..She had her entire look at me outfit on did she not

If TBS held a get together and Really Big and Goofy ,Tight pants and Wanda showed up holding signs you would be totally cool with it right ?? You would pay them no mind LMAOOOO

I’m a little confused by this. This woman obviously went to protest Trump and she got what a reasonable person would expect. If I showed up to a Hillary Clinton rally wearing a shirt that read “Abortion is murder.” or “Feminists eat box.” I would expect to be heckled by a bunch of liberals and then be escorted out of there. If you don’t like a candidate, don’t go to their rallies and cause a disturbance for supporters attempting to inform themselves of a candidate’s political stances and ideology. This woman is what is wrong with America.

I was interested to see where you came down on the open house at the mosque. While I would have liked to attend it, I couldn’t, but hopefully some good will come out of it, and it will open some communication BOTH ways (and maybe I can stop cringing every time I drive pat the place).

When I say BOTH ways I mean those Americans who see all Muslims as threats, and the Muslims who don’t do anything to calm the fears of the public who feels that way. While islamaphobia is a real thing to a point (personally, I feel it is more anger than a phobia-but hey, that is seems to be the phrase of the month) I don’t think that Americans are so close minded if there was more of an outcry from the Muslim population denouncing the radical Islamic behavior, they would ignore it. I really feel that most Americans are waiting for that and would have no problem embracing it.

That being said, we are not stupid people, and could tell if something didn’t smell right (well, aleast the non Obama population).

    • Skeptical
      January 14, 2016 at 3:54 pm

You lost your logical high ground at “the non Obama population.”

You mean the same group that is having to argue that universal background checks for gun buyers is definitely rational, and that attempts to besmirch Obama by creating a conspiracy theory (and a lousy and stupid one at that) are not done by conservatives that have no defense left except “It’s a conspiracy!!!” are the population that are the ones that can’t sniff out ludicrous BS?

What made you make this enormous leap in logic is beyond me. Carry on then, if arrogance and judgmental behavior are what make you feel better, so be it.
