In today’s episode of “We own the Turtlegram’s brain,” we bring you this tweet from the Turtlegram’s Aaron Nicodemus, who is accusing us of stealing from the Turtlegram:

First of all, we didn’t steal shit. As you can see from the photo we used on the left, someone on our Facebook roster share that photo of Spencer-East Brookfield School Committee candidate Jason Monette yelling at Kevin Hayes for not letting a high school girl talk. You can clearly see that the person posted the picture with some sort of statement, affirming his support of Mr. Monette. That’s what we took a screenshot of – his post. We didn’t even know the picture was taken by a Turtlegram photographer because we don’t read the Turtlegram for news on Spencer. After all, Lyin’ Kimmy Ring is just gonna keep all the real information out anyway. Plus we were there last night so we knew everything that happened.

It’s an embedded tweet that the Telegram voluntarily uploaded to social media. It contains the picture they’re so worried about other people using. But of course there’s nothing illegal about embedding someone else’s tweet onto your blog. If the Telegram didn’t want this picture to appear on our blog, then they shouldn’t have used it as a cover photo for this particular tweet. Real journalists understand this, but the Turtlegram isn’t real journalism.
Anyway, this guy is obviously mad because he’s working on a sinking ship. He hasn’t gotten a raise in 20 years and he knows if he asks for one then his ass is gonna be getting coffee for Noah Bombard at Masslive by next Tuesday. He looks over at Turtleboy and he sees a winner. He thinks to himself, “I went to journalism school and played by the rules, and yet here I am stuck in this dead end job. Meanwhile Turtleboy started a WordPress blog and he’s destroying us more each and every day.” I almost feel bad for the poor guy.
His tweet opened up a sea of butthurt as Turtlegram reporters were favoriting and retweeting it like it was going out of style:
Paual Owen, Brad Petrishan, Rick Cinclair, Mark Sullivan, Scott O’Connell, Susan Bock, Christine Hochkeppel, Paul Kapteyn – these guys are all losers. All of them. They’re butthurt because they don’t like our new policy – $200 for a quote from Turtleboy. That’s just the going rate right now. No way we’re giving these guys page views for free. And the only reason they ever write about us is when they’re desperate for page views.
I get why Paula Owen is butthurt. After all, she’s the one who has been writing about Laughlin Kennel for YEARS now. But ultimately all her work did nothing and the puppy mill kept going. Then Turtleboy took up the cause and the next thing you know the town of Oxford is issuing a cease and desist to the Fink family. By doing so they were sending her a clear message – no one reads your stories, but everyone reads Turtleboy, so now we have to do something. #PrayForPaulaOwen

Lyin’ Kimmy Ring. The woman who forgot to mention that Kevin Hayes threatened to call the cops on the entire audience at the recent School Committee meeting. LOL.
Do these poor fools realize how pathetic this makes them look? None of our staff knew who any of these losers were before today. Never read a word Aaron Nicodemus has ever written, because he’s an irrelevant nobody from an irrelevant newspaper. But he reads us “regularly.” His words, not ours.
Oh yea, and everyone knows that they’re the real thieves. They’ve just gotten away with it for so long that they think no one would notice the irony. But we remember, as do all loyal turtle riders. Like that time Samantha Allen stole our story about the woman we caught cheating in the charity road race. Or the time Samantha Allen “broke” the news that Jessica Conway had died of an overdose, hours after we broke that story.
That’s the funniest part about this. Being accused of stealing by the Turtlegram is like being accused of murder by OJ Simpson.

Hey, I meant to ask before, this lawyer working with Fahey, can’t be the same Rushton that is in the TBS graveyard. Please tell me it isn’t.
I see that TBS has corrected the information in this story. Kevin Lynch shouldn’t have been credited for threating to call the cops. Doesn’t change the fact that he is unstable. But let’s give Kevin Hayes his due. His are the actions of a desperate individual. He knows that his time in control is fast coming to an end. It will be ugly, deserved and the disgrace should be shared by several others in charge of this cluster fuck.
I’ve seen the Telegram go a day (most, actually) without ever mentioning Turtleboy. Turtleboy on the other hand can’t go a day without not only mentioning the Telegram, usually copy/pasting articles for his own use. So, who has who on the brain? Who is obsessed with who?
Remember, without the Telegram, Masslive, and the other Mass news sources, Turtleboy would have nothing to write about.
This whole thing started due to turtleboy reporting information garnered from tips sent directly to him. I will admit the writing may not be the best or most professional but it has gotten results none of the other sources have equaled. And in the end isn’t it about results.
Look at all the down votes for typing the truth. You forgot student social media. I can’t wait for it to all come crashing down around him. It’s already falling apart.

I pasted the above from your blog. Is there a correction in order? Was Fitchburg’s favorite son at the Spencer meeting? Did you mean to write Kevin Hayes threatened to call the cops?
I cancelled my subscription shortly after they changed their format and required subscribers to post via facebook, as I refuse to use facebook.
Let’s face it — the news is pretty much watered down as they don’t have real reporters anymore. There is no longer a business section with stock quotes. They got rid of the TV section on Sundays. About the only thing I miss was watching my dog pee on Clyde’s column.
I cancelled my subscription way back when they cut down from four sections in the weekly paper to two and haven’t missed it at all. I realized that even then, I could get all my local news from different sources and anything outside of this region online. It’s not like they cover any political corruption going on in all these local towns. Spencer is just a small example of what happens and T&G reporters are too afraid of actually finding out.
Just go in the many coffee or barber shops in the city neighborhoods and towns and start a conversation instead of being lazy and “crowdsourcing”. Do they wonder over at the T&G why people write tips to Turtleboy and not them? I am sure they’ve brushed off many tips over the years which could expose dirty politicians that are still elected. And that’s just their lack of reporting. They’d be better off putting their columnists out to pasture than printing the racist crap that they allow.
I think you should start calling them the turdlegram.

Funny. No one knows who the people are who put their names on stories but everyone claims to know who writes anonymous turtleboy stories.
Look, an entire list of people most likely to say “Don’t you know who I am?!”… so sad when people with not one ounce of self knowledge think they are relevant.
I never heard of any of these folks..Oh they work for the Telegram. They still have a newspaper?
