So Barack Obama comes to Worcester today for the Worcester Tech graduation. We might meet up with the President…if we have time for it. Just wanna say a couple things on this real quick. He’s coming here for two main reasons:

1) To promote his failed educational policies.

2) Because it’s on the way to a major fundraiser in Weston that’s gonna net the DNC millions of dollars.

That’s it. He has to go to one graduation every year and he picked Worcester Tech because they’re an example of how he has fixed schools, in his deluded mind. Basically Obama, like all democratic and republican politicians, believes the solution to fixing our complex social and economic problems in this country is to create schools like Worcester Tech that lets kids whose parents give a shit about them get away from kids whose parents don’t give a shit about them. Because that’s what Worcester Tech is. It’s a school that you have to apply to get into. If your parents are crackheads then they’re not gonna fill out that application for ya, and you’re gonna end up at North, South, Doherty, or Burncoat. Then when you don’t do well in school Obama and his Education Secretary Arne Duncan are gonna label your school “Level 4” and make the school fire half of their faculty or administration in order to get the coveted federal cash. It’s happened already to two other schools in Worcester (Union Hill and Chandler Elementary).

Worcester Tech is still a great school and we need more like it. My only problem is that boneheads like Obama promote schools like Worcester Tech as a “model school” for schools like Worcester North. It’s apples and oranges people. Since the Obama administration doesn’t allow schools to suspend students, and forces them to keep kids who want to drop out of school, then schools like North are told to literally perform miracles or else they’re labeled a “failing school.”

That’s why he’s in Worcester tomorrow.

Other than that I don’t have strong opinions like other people do. I try not to get too caught up in politics because it’s all bullshit and hyperbole. Obama is neither the antichrist nor his he the savior. He’s just a guy. And whether or not him or Mitt Romney won the 2012 election, my life would not be impacted at all in ANY way. I’ll just keep on going living my life, writing my blogs, watching reruns of The Office, and spending a lot of time on Redtube Youtube.

Well people in Worcester aren’t as calm about this whole thing as I am. Maybe because I’ve been riding a turtle for the last 108 years it’s given me time to realize that I’ve seen a lot bigger scandals than this. If these people were around for Teapot Dome they’d be begging for Benghazi. The thing that’s really riling people up is the fact that it’s costing the Worcester Police about $100,000 for the police detail. My question is, who is more hilarious – the people who complain about this bill, or the people who love Obama like a brand new puppy dog?

You decide:

Yea, even though none of this $100,000 will be paid for in any form of a tax increase at all, it’s still not fair. The President should just come without any sort of protection. I mean, isn’t he a man? Can’t he stand up for himself?

Yea Obama, David Nergararian, who likely hates you because you represent big government, doesn’t want you speaking at a graduation in Worcester because you should be busy in Washington running more big government.

He actually brings up a good point. If I’m a criminal, tomorrow is going to be a field day.

Yea Obummer!! You should plan your schedule around the work hours of someone named Tella Bella. If she doesn’t have the day off, then neither should you!!!

Yea, I mean it’s either save the world or protect the president right? One or the other. The city was about to fix poverty forever, but then Obummer came to town and we had to make sure Newton Square doesn’t become Dealey Plaza. Thanks Obama!!

Shit, I never even thought of that!!! Fuck. That’s it, cancel the trip. Cancel the graduation. Renee’s boyfriend has to get home and he hasn’t figure out that Chandler Street exists yet.

Susan, based on your grasp of the english language, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that more often than not you are on the receiving end of most taxes.

Yea what the hell Obummer? Why the flip are you spending all this money flying here? Haven’t you heard of Skype before? Because that’s the exact same fucking thing as physically coming to Worcester. Kids would be just as excited to watch your face on a five second delay as they would shaking your hand. If we only listened to A Matthew Meola, then the the Chinese would owe us money!!

Yea, you think a President coming to Worcester is news? That’s not news. Did you even see how fat Rob Kardashian is? Now THAT’S news!!!

I was actually at the Al-Qaeda Junior-Senior High School graduation last week and Patricia is right – standing ovation that lasted several minutes. However, they do want to know more about these people who were released to them because they heard they were released to the Taliban. But I mean, that’s the same fucking thing right?

As fantastic as these people all are, these people are equally as entertaining…

Yay!!!!

Oh yea, because cliche graduation speeches are so exciting. I remember the first time I saw Obama I was somewhat inspired too. Then I realized he was full of shit like every other politician that ever existed. I truly feel bad for people who find politicians inspiring.

Last thing I’m gonna say is this. The doors close at 3:00 PM tomorrow, even though graduation starts at 4. I am predicting right now that AT LEAST 50 people will miss their kid’s graduation tomorrow. People are idiots. They’ll get caught in traffic. They’ll run to the bank real quick. They’ll take an extra long dump and lose track of time. They’ll run late. Then they’ll find out the Secret Service doesn’t fuck around.

I’ll be in downtown tomorrow waiting for Obama to take his inaugural ride on my magical turtle (hopefully he’ll be more gentle then that fat bastard President Taft), but we’ll also have some Turtleboy Sports free lancers outside ready to interview every insane nut job who has decided to protest the President’s visit, and hopefully some disgruntled parents who will be rejected from their kid’s graduation because they had to get their hair did.

Feel free to share your thoughts to keep the conversation going.

“But, none of that is the point. He’s the freaking President of United States. He’s not a person, he’s a figure head. He’s like a mythological creature.”

“Obama is neither the antichrist nor his he the savior. He’s just a guy.”

    …uhhhh….which is it Turtle Boy??

This “model school” cost $90 million to build. It’s what the president sees as the future of education in our country. Bring.it.on. What community/neighborhood is not going to accept a $90 million initial investment in a new school? My question: what is the cost of educating a child at Worcester Tech v. other Worcester public schools? other public schools nationwide? Before that building was built, this school’s graduation/college-attendance rate was non-existent. Now, 77% go on to college. That is NOT the purpose for which this school was built!!! Who among us is naive enough to believe that the same population of students is attending Worcester Tech, for the same purposes, as were attending the old school, before this beautiful new “campus” was built?

Tech schools used to be for kids who were not motivated for college and who needed an option. It was a “trade” school–give them a skill so that they can participate. Now, as you said, it’s a public private school…application required. And they can’t be suspended, but they can kicked out of Tech and then Doherty, South, North, or Burncoat has to take them in: back to the academic setting–where kids are supposed to be actually prepping for college–kind of backward, don’t you think?

The funny thing is is that it will cost the taxpayers more money for his security than what hes going to raise at the fundraiser. Would be easier just to cut them a check and Skype the graduation.

Is this Factman comment serious? Did you not read the article or are you just dumb?

      • June 11, 2014 at 7:50 am

Ur right. If TB says skyping is a dumb idea then I guess it must be true. I mean, how could these kids ever graduate without obama being there?

    • June 11, 2014 at 8:02 am

I only brought up skyping because its a really stupid idea. Like I said before, in no way shape or form will anyone’s taxes be affected by this. Keeping the president alive is expensive. This isn’t Nigeria.
