Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve heard about the asshole who shot the Golden Retriever puppy five times in Lakeville a few days ago.

Here, rock dweller, catch up:

Meet The Lakeville Asshole Who Shot A Golden Retriever Puppy Five Times Because He Felt Like Using It For Target Practice And Then Lied About Being Scared

Turns out I was right and Mark Vasseur was charged with malicious killing of a domesticated animal. Apparently the police spent several days trying to come up with a scenario that fit with Tubby McMurderson’s gun-happy, chicken-slaying, Cujo theory.

Seems he lied.

Really? What gave it away? The ever-changing story he kept telling the media? Dog scared his chickens. Dog ate his chickens. Dog lunged at him. Dog lunged at his wife. I got whiplash listening to him switch it up when I changed stations. That’s saying something because he doesn’t look like he moves too fast. Guess he doesn’t as fast either.

We were the FIRST ONES to have the sack to publish his whole name. For some reason the MSM refused to print, or even say, his last name. Well, SSTG don’t play that. I found out who he was and even the lemmings at Mass Live were forced to cite us.

Lord Jesus did the fire and brimstone rain down upon this enormous lump of angry cholesterol in the comments section of our blog. It was so epic I haven’t even been able to keep up with them. Some idiots have actually been defending his actions. Others blaming the dog owner because they should be impervious to having two puppies slip out the door. They should feel pretty stupid because the smart people are pissed.

Well, they should be. He actually went back in the house, got his gun, came back out and used the pupper baby as target practice. In all that huffing and puffing he didn’t once to think to call the Animal Control Officer to come and have the dog removed from his yard. I never say this about people but I hope his life is never the same.

I’m so sorry for the family that lost their little buddy. He was so clearly well-loved. I’ve been sending you good vibes along with the rest of civilized America. ❤️

I have chickens, and guns. Even if this dog was chasing and eating my chickens, I could never look at that sweet face and shoot it! Do you know how much chickens cost?? A couple of bucks a piece! I love my chickens, but they get eaten all the time, by foxes, hawks, etc. Not worth killing someone’s best friend over!! There is no way this dog tried to attack that man!

It’s not a superiority complex it’s called responsibility, give it a try I know MA libs are allergic to it but it’s not so bad. The dog is your responsibility, if you aren’t paying attention to what it’s doing you’re a bad dog owner and don’t bother having kids you really have to watch those!

Doesn’t RESPONSIBLY bearing arms mean that firing your weapon to kill is an absolute last resort? Don’t come with all that left wing right wing bullshit. That has nothing to do with it.

Fuck, I hate people like you that attribute everything to a set of beliefs.
This has nothing to with politics.

Unfortunately, most posters here are ignorant of the facts surrounding the case.

The dog owners stated they own 9 acres of land, and routinely let their dogs out at night to “do their business”. The dogs did not “get out”. According to the article in the Taunton Gazette on 10/10 “Krissy Dashner and Pate Bates told The Enterprise’s news partner, WCVB-TV, that they let their dogs outside Sunday night for a run when the dogs took off into the woods of their 9-acre property.”

This couple is 100% to blame for what happened to their dog. They should have either had better control of their dog, or they should have an “invisible” (or real) fence on their property to contain their dogs on their property.

We will never really know what happened on Mark Vasseur’s property (unless he has security cameras with footage).

The only reason he’s being charged is the DA wants to go after his guns, and charging him with a crime will give the local police chief an excuse to deny his future license renewal. This is purely a case of malicious prosecution — if the dog in question were a rotweiller or pit bull rather than a dopey golden retriever, we wouldn’t be having this conversation, would we?

          October 13, 2017 at 5:18 pm

Completely different scenario. There is no reason to feel your life is in danger or you are protecting your livestock from someone turning around in your driveway.

If, on the other hand, you pull up in my driveway, and start to bash thru my front door, then yes, you may find yourself a victim of a “double-tap, center mass”.

I owned horses for a decade. If someone’s dog was in my yard chasing my horses, sorry, the life of your dog clearly wasn’t important to you when you let it roam free, was it?

You don’t see any problem with Vasseur’s story? He said like 4 different things happened. None of them had anything to do with horses so I don’t see where that random tidbit of hypothetical anecdote fits in but i have question for everybody:
HAS ANYBODY IN THEIR LIFES ever heard of a non aggressive dog such as a golden retriever, attack anything for absolutely no reason whatsoever?
            Never mind a puppy.
            .
            .
Last night I received a death threat. It said “Dear 2wEntee, i am coming to murder you tomorrow night”.

Much like Vasseur, I don’t notify the authorities, rather I take matters into my own hands.

I spot a vehicles headlights in my driveway. I open fire.

I pull a Vasseur, i make up this incredible back story about a death threat.
Is it true? Who gives a fuck, as long as you can’t prove it’s a lie. I’m the real victim here.

Vasseur enjoyed shooting the dog who posed no threat to him, his family, or his caged chickens.
Yes, non aggressive dogs that were never bred to be hunters have figured out how to open chicken coops solely for harassment purposes.

It’s a government conspiracy. I saw it on YouTube. Look up, golden retrievers have been robbing us blind for years. They’re the real threat here! Not some inbred cockslob that hasn’t seen his dick since he was issued a handicapped parking sticker cause he was getting short winded on the long trek across the Kappys parking lot.

What I have read in published news sources seems pretty consistent: The dog was chasing his chickens, and made a threatening gesture towards his wife. The latter is really irrelevant, since the first is reason enough to legally shoot the dog.

As I stated earlier, we will really never know what happened, unless there is security camera footage. My guess is the dog was chasing the chickens, and at 9pm in the dark Vasseur thought the dog was a coyote (a small golden at night running around could easily be mistaken for a coyote) and he opened up.

Unless he just shot the dog for taking a dump in his yard and made the whole story up, there’s absolutely no basis for the charge filed against him.

MA General Law C. 131 § 37 Killing of game by owner or tenant of land: An owner […] may, upon such land: […] (2) hunt or take by other means […] any mammal which he finds damaging his property except grass growing on uncultivated land.

Last I knew, a dog was a mammal.

This was faxed to me by Attorney Richard N. Vulva, Esq., himself.

Unfortunately for you, in your concocted scenario, you’re not likely to get away with shooting the person in your driveway. You would need a reason to believe your life was in imminent danger, and you have a duty to attempt to flee before using the claim of self-defense. The castle doctrine does not apply in your driveway.

Now, it sucks what may have been a nice family’s dog got killed, and the dog may have not deserved it (because chasing small furry animals is a deeply ingrained instinct in dogs — its called ‘prey drive’ — and many times the dog will just chase them around and not actually hurt them, because it is “fun” for the dog.),

None of this, however, negates the fact that the dog’s owner has a responsibility to keep their dog under control and on their own property at all times, and the dog’s owner failed in this responsibility, which unfortunately cost the dog its life, no different than had the dog run out into the middle of the road and got hit by a car.

Society is fucked… people are more outraged over the death of a puppy than of a 3 year old human baby! I’ve lost two incedibly loved dogs, who where large breed shepherd mixes, both rescues. I have also lost a 5 month d baby boy, to SIDS. Maybe if everyone was as outraged by the death of that 3 year old his mother would be properly persecuted. Even turtleboy thought this disgusting excuse for a human would get away with murdering an innocent pup. People forced the police and likely the district attorney to push for big boy charges. Where is the justice for the human baby? Puppies, babies, a god damn goldfish is a choice to have and perotect (whether it be your neighbors pup or child or fish or yours) they depend on us for their survival? Not their choice…

      • Poor babe
        October 12, 2017 at 8:02 pm

I’m going to assume you mentally deficient, as is Hillary. My problem is the lack of outrage over the human child’s death vs an animals. The main point was that if people became as outraged at the 3 year olds death something would change. Even turtleboy assumed the man who murdered the pup would face minimal charges. Instead people demanded charges, Massachusetts has some new amazing laws against animal abuse. Charges for murder of a human have not changed much, why does this cunt get a free pass because she has this “disease”

          October 12, 2017 at 8:13 pm

Because our liberal state has a shitfit at the thought of executing someone for killing another human being. This is also precisely why the troopers made sure they took care of jorge zambrano last year, because the courts wouldn’t have done Ronnie justice.

          October 13, 2017 at 10:55 pm

But please keep in mind– and research actuallly shows– that animal abusers are on track to harm people. They start with helpless animals and move on to other victims. So it’s a good predictor of things to come. And THAT’s why most if not all states have reclassified animal cruelty as a felony.

Where are “people are more outraged over the death of a puppy than of a 3 year old human baby!”. Not true. I’m sorry but that is a bullshit statement. Regarding this story – Zero 3-year olds was died. None. Different stories.

I am so sorry you went through the devastation of your child’s death. I can’t imagine your pain. My parents did too – he was 4 years old. I couldn’t even begin to fathom your devastation. So I will never belittle your feelings.

Yeah! Society is so fucked! Unbelievable how more people were way more outraged at the golden retriever story that was posted 52 hours before the toddler story has received much more attention.

It’s almost as if another news source, one that reaches a larger audience, included a link to the original TBS golden retriever story in their blog.

Oh wait that did happen! Its actually mentioned in the above article! Wow! So crazy how a story that has reached 7 times more people and has 7 times more comments has received 7 times more outrage!

Stop trying to recalibrate everyone’s moral compass. You’re just a presumptuous idiot.

      • Yup
        October 13, 2017 at 1:14 pm

Exactly a child being killed deserves more attention than a dog. Laws have recently been changed to protect animals from humans. Not because of he outrage of this past story, but over time, after so many despicable incidents that legally could never achieve justice with the current laws. That is my problem, that if every one of the same people who where outraged by the puppy mirder dud he dame for that little boy things would change. You do understand why ithe puppy mirder was shared more, covered more etc.? Because MORE people gave a fuck about it and shared it… demanded an outcome of justice. You are implying that the dog story happened before the kid one so maybe people ran out of outrage? No it is far more outrageous that an innocent puppy was killed than an innocent kid. You are the idiot for not understanding that we the people elicit coverage on the stories we find most important. If nothing else isn’t is sad that the murdered child didn’t get as much media coverage?

        • 2wEntEe
          October 13, 2017 at 3:30 pm

Remember how much attention Jeremiah Oliver got?
It’s not about dogs and babies.

          Let’s compare:
-Oliver was brutally murdered for absolutely reason by a man that was more powerful than him.
          – The dog was brutally murdered for absolutely no reason by a man that was more powerful than him.

The death gets the outrage, not the victim.
