Black Lives Matter… You’re absolutely right. How is it though that through starting a movement to reinforce that truth , we’ve somehow cast aside the reality that all other lives matter as well?

I heard the news last night that protesters and activists had gathered outside the house of Boston Mayor Marty Walsh at 4am this past Wednesday. Their drive behind doing this was that this was a way to ensure that their message was heard, with the belief that old Marty just isn’t listening.

If you support this idea and believe that Black lives matter was just in doing so, please remove your eyes from this blog and carry on with your life because I assure you we don’t see eye to eye.

There’s a neighborly understanding that when you’re having a gathering of sorts, its only right to take the noise down a few notches after a certain time. Black lives matter missed the memo apparently, or more than likely just disregarded it, because shit, no one else is worth a damn.

With things having died down from the escalated levels they were at in both Ferguson and Baltimore in recent times , “civil activists” are starting to see their media coverage fade. So what better way to rekindle that coverage, at least for a little while, than to pack up our occupy Boston kits , throw on our malcom X tee shirts, and head on over to Uncle Marty’s at 4am. Shit its only a work day, and people don’t deserve to sleep without fear because hey, black lives matter after all.

Apparently harassment and protesting these days are one in the same. Every one knows MLK Jr. And the rest of our REAL civil activists of old were bouncing from house nightly instilling fear in people to force others into sharing their beliefs. Oh wait … That’s right they weren’t doing things like that , they were sleeping at that hour because they were tired from ACTUALLY working daily toward change.

Now that we brought up the old days , let’s not stray from that topic too quickly. While the REAL civil rights leaders of old were home sleeping at night resting from all of Gods work they were carrying out through the day, there were a group that were running around at all hours of the hours of the night instilling fear in others… Going so far as to go to someone’s house to make their threat clear.

Ironic actually …  You may remember these fellas? Goofy looking guys , minimal teeth , smelled strange , dressed up like ghosts running around causing ruckus outside of the homes of those who shared opposing opinions, or who were simply different. Sometimes even going so far as to burn a cross on their “enemy’s” property, instilling terror in their target and anyone else who may witness these happenings. If you haven’t figured out who I’m referring to then you may want to go rent “A Time To Kill” this weekend in between your fireworks and Barbecues.

This man is a person of great influence yes. But he wakes up every morning and puts his pants on one leg at a time just like EVERYONE ELSE. He does a job. He has a family , a mortgage, neighbors, and the right to live in peace in the comfort of his own home , as do those very neighbors. There are kids, elderly, and everyday working class good people who reside in that neighborhood who have the right to sleep through the damn night and not fear for their safety because you want to make a point.

In conclusion, ALL LIVES MATTER. The sooner all sides understand this, the sooner we can move on. You’re not supporting your cause by little games such as these. You’re in fact turning more and more people away from and disproving your cause. Take this and do what you will with it.. God Bless America.

One other difference would be most of the klan members had jobs.

A few months ago I said that ALL lives mattered on the Facebook and got BLASTED by people telling me that I was wrong and that right now black lives mattered more. Anyway…I unfriended and/or blocked a bunch of people after that. All lives do matter-black, white, purple…and that’s what I’m going to teach my children. That ALL people’s lives are of value. Continue to preach it, TB!!

I’m with you Heidi. Happy 4th of July everybody and I still stand by that we all are one. One race. The Human Race. And today here in the United States of America we celebrate freedom. Is it possible that we all can get together on this?

Not to mention the mayor wasn’t even home at the time, as ten seconds of Googling could have told them. They were chanting to an empty house and a bunch of pissed-off neighbors.

I’ve been saying this from day one. The extremist left that hates anything normal, and spends a lot of time doing that, comes in with “Black lives matter.” Well of course they do but what about the rest of us? All lives matter. And I am getting sick of hearing about race this and race that. We are all apart of the “Human Race” which when universally realized makes us all as a people stand as one.

And once these few immature assholes come to understand this very basic philosophy, maybe their lives can be redirected to more constructive and noble pursuits. They also might find themselves happier people and start to feel like we really are all one.

Ummm… I agree that #blacklives matter people are annoying and narcissistic. But comparing them to the KKK is a litttttle far fetched.

Not really. They’re peyote groups with backwards ideas about racial superiority who don’t have valid arguments so they resort to fear mongering and scare tactics to try and bully people into doing what they want.

The BLM people haven’t murdered anyone (that I know of)…..yet…but they did burn down a couple cities.

        Peyote groups? Fringe groups

Equating the Black Lives Matter people to the Klan is giving them too much credit. While the average Klansman was an eleven-toed mouth-breather one chromosome shy of being that guy from Sling Blade, they still had a better sense of organization than the Black Lives Matter people for two reasons.

    1) There were more than 14 members of the KKK. Go look at the video of the Kelley Square protest. Count how many people you see protesting.

    2) The Klan had a mission statement and stuck to it. The KKK didn’t go away just because everybody stopped paying attention to them.
