Robert Blackwell-Gibbs Supports I-93 Protesters Because He’s Been Oppressed For 40 Years While Collecting Unemployment

Dianne Williamson continues to be the only person at the Telegram & Gazette worth reading. Today she wrote a pretty mild column that basically said the obvious – the I-93 protesters endangered the lives of many and their actions aren’t even closely related to the actions of 1960’s civil rights leaders who participated in sit-ins and other non-violent demonstrations. She also interviewed local professional protester Robert Blackwell-Gibbs to see if he supported these narcissistic honkies who purposely tried to kill people on Thursday. I’m just kidding, he’s not a professional. Professionals get paid. Anyway, here are his hilarious quotes:

“People need justice,” he said. “People need respect.”

“Folks are upset about the inconvenience to their lives,” said Blackwell Gibbs, who is African-American. “But people like me have been subjected to any level of inconvenience, and it’s been a way of life since I was born. It’s not a 40-minute inconvenience. It’s a 40-year sentence.”

I laughed out loud when I saw “people need justice, people need respect.” Because nothing says “respect” and “justice” like running onto a highway and chaining your fat Grimace ass to a barrel. I’m kind of confused where respect factors into that. Who exactly is being respected? The person that needs to get to the hospital? The single working mother who is trying to get to work instead of sitting at home collecting welfare? The black construction worker who couldn’t get to work and lost a day’s pay because a bunch of rich white kids wouldn’t let them get to work? Yea, that definitely sounds like justice and respect.

I just think it’s hilarious that people like Robert Blackwell-Gibbs have no problem poo-pooing this blockade as a minor “inconvenience.” As if no one had anywhere important to go. As if there wasn’t anything dangerous about running onto the highway in front of oncoming traffic. As if people don’t have the right to not give a fuck or have an opinion about Ferguson. As if everyone stuck in traffic was on the way to the tanning salon.

And what the hell is he talking about with a “40 year inconvenience?” Oh I’m sorry Robert Blackwell-Gibbs, was 40 years not enough time to get your shit together? Newsflash – this is America. If you can’t figure out how to make in America after 40 years, then you’re a fucking idiot. This one’s not on racism, or the system, or institutionalized racism. This one’s on you.

But people like my boy Robert Blackwell-Gibbs would NEVER admit that they are at all responsible for where they are in life. Nothing is EVER their fault. Always someone else’s. And they have EVERY right to jump in front of your car on the highway and whine about it while you’re trying to be a responsible adult and take care of your family. Don’t believe me though. Just ask Robert Blackwell-Gibbs himself and he’ll tell you how hard he’s been working to get his shit together:

Yea the system that PAYS YOU to order Chinese food, get an $80 tree, and lavish your family with Christmas joy for two straight years without holding a job is CLEARLY a “40 year sentence.”

And luckily he’s a positive role model too:

There you have it folks. This is the face of the protesters and their supporters. People who brag about not working for years, collecting from the state, and then whining about how unfair the system is. But hey, keep telling me that the Turtleboy Sports Revolution is the one that’s on the wrong side of history.

I’m sorry… People like me (actually raising my child, making sure she gets a good education) who work for a living, go to school to get a better education (Masters baby!), and actually do the right thing are racist? Is that what this man is trying to get across? Seriously? I go to work to make sure this man gets his free shit! Where is my free shit! I paid for the gas in my car that was used up while they protested!

He is the problem, NOT the solution. Stop giving this man attention and let him move on.

This may come off as racist (don’t care!)… But he is the whitest black man..after Lisa Bonet…

I got into a fistfight with this shitbag outside the Hotel Vernon in Worcester. I also moved a friend into this fuck’s apartment (where he was living with three kids) and the place was a trash dump. Kind of fag who likes to talk but lets his kids live in a trash heap. Also, he’s always out reciting his poetry! Which is deep, and multilayered. This fucking clown is paper thin, transparent. He doesn’t even exist. I weep for his kids, they ain’t getting good learning. All this is true. I know that’s hard to believe, but I don’t give a fuck. I rep truth.

There’s nothing like promoting violence amongst kids. What an idiot. Sure if I hope that another kid ever attacks my kid she defends herself, but certainly NOT by taking a bat to said kids head. In the real world that could earn a kid a one way ticket to jail time, especially if it kills someone. This guy is a LOSER. And it’s too bad he’s already procreated. *Le Sigh*
