Last week we published this blog about Rowdy Rutland Piper who caused a panic when he claimed he was attacked by a 80 pound coyote outside of his house. The whole story was not even remotely believable. Coyotes don’t weigh 80 pounds, he would’ve been covered in blood if he stabbed it 10 times before it ran off, he’s terribly out of shape and likely would’ve been killed by a beast of that size, he looks and sounds like a stumbling drunk, and the coyote, which jumped on his back like he was giving it a piggy back ride, allegedly did this to the back of his coat:

When clearly that straight, clean cut was caused by a knife. If it was a coyote’s bite marks there would be smaller gashes everywhere from its teeth. Oh, and coyotes are pack animals, so there’s no way the other two coyotes would sit there and watch their friend do all the heavy lifting. The bandaids were a nice touch though:

In reality this guy probably got into a bar room fight or fell down a flight of stairs during a bender and needed something to tell his wife. Or she knew about it and it was all for a GoFundMe scam. Dude’s like the Water Whiz Wonder Weenie of Rutland.

But Lyin Kimmy Ring over at the Turtlegram fell for it hook, line, and sinker. She gave him the space to tell his lies by videotaping the whole thing and not asking any of these obvious questions:

This is why we’re Worcester County’s top news outlet and it’s not even close.

Well if you thought that was a bad lie, wait until you see this GoFundMe he created in September:

“Help me. Help a family.”

Give me $8,000.

Here’s a picture a cat with no explanation as to its relevance for this fundraiser.

So what could he possibly need $8,000 for? Let’s find out…..

So he has a carpentry business and naturally he wanted to invest in a backho. Because when I see this:

The first thing that comes to mind is “carpentry.” That thing will definitely help you install some new cabinets for sure.

So he went to go buy this massive piece of machinery off of some dude on Craig’s List. But as it turns out the sale was a “scam.” No details were given as to what that means, so we’ll just have to take his word that he showed up with cash to purchase this thing and the guy ended up taking his money and leaving him backhoeless.

As a result he lost thousands of dollars PLUS the money that was in his bank account. Ya got that? The guy who scammed him somehow got access to his bank account while meeting up with him and now he’s completely broke.

He’s trying to get the cash back by working with the cops and “government officials” because obviously this is an issue that the Board of Selectmen in Rutland would be VERY concerned about rectifying.

It gets better…..

Wow, this guy’s had some bad luck lately!! First his wife gets in a car accident and has “thousands of dollars of medical bill” to be paid. And the accident wasn’t even her fault!! Ya know who usually pays for that? Insurance companies. But I guess the jerkwad who smashed into her was an illegal immigrant in a stolen car who pulled a hit and run. Now she’s stuck with the bill in physical therapy.

Oh, and just to top it off 85 year old grandma is living with them, and she’s had three “rounds” of cancer and a pacemaker. This guy can’t catch a break!!

But you haven’t seen the best part yet…..

Yes, that’s right. He’s the good guy ladies and gentlemen. He once was out driving (to look for a job naturally) when all of a sudden he saw an elderly man laying unattended on the side of the road. This hero stops traffic, jumped out of the truck, performed CPR on the old guy randomly lying without a pulse on the side of the road, and got his heart going again!! What a miracle!! CPR only works a very small percentage of the time, but when you fight coyotes with your bare hands, you’re capable of pretty much anything.

He’s no hero though, that’s just the kind of guy he is. A guy who tells you about his heroic acts so you’ll donate to his GoFundMe.

Oh, and one more thing he’ll need money for in the updates…..

Of course his best friend’s brother was killed in the Las Vegas shooting. Poor guy has two kids and a wife. We don’t know the guy’s name to look him up (since the victims are all documented) but I’m sure he’s real. Rowdy Rutland Piper would love to help this family out but some ASSHOLE hacked his checking account of $25,000!!!

But wait….when he started the GoFundMe he needed $8,000. The $25,000 stolen from him was an update a month AFTER he created the GoFundMe. So…….according to him he already had $25K in the bank, but I guess he didn’t want to dip into that for the carpentry backhoe that he’ll use to shovel at church. Then all of a sudden that money magically was “hacked” with no explanation as to what that means, and poor Bri-Bri’s out of another $25K.

So just to review:

  • He fought a 80 pound coyote using his Keefe Tech wrestling moves, stabbed it ten times, didn’t get a drop of blood on him, and called the Turtlegram and Gazette up to tell them.
  • A guy on Craig’s List scammed him out of $8,000 for a backhoe he was planning to buy off of him for his carpentry “business”
  • His wife was in a bad car accident with an unnamed driver that was not her fault, yet she’s the one stuck with crazy medical bills because no one had insurance
  • His 85 year old mother needs help, because she’s had three rounds of cancer and a heart attack and he is the sole provider
  • He recently saved an elderly man’s life by bringing him back from the dead after seeing him lying unconscious on the side of the road
  • His best friend’s brother was killed in the Las Vegas shooting and he wants to help his two surviving children and wife
  • Some ASSHOLE hacked his checking account of $25,000

And the Turtlegram and Gazette fell for his story. But please, tell me more about how Turtleboy is fake news.

    NEWS ALERT!

There was no backhoe! He wasn’t scammed out of anything!

He never wrestled a coyote, or saved an anonymous guy on the side of road with CPR.

    It’s called a scam!

Please stop posting about craigslist experiences. The backhoe story is obviously the latest in his long line of GFM scams that he has been running.

Had he just come right out and said, “I want a few bucks to buy beer, smokes, scratch tickets, Chinese food, and go to Six Flags once a year with my old lady” I might have been inclined to donate $5. But this cockamamie fable about attack coyotes and backhoes only pisses me off. The thing about dummies is they automatically assume everyone else is just as or even more dumb than themselves. So, they play the numbers game like a salesman, figuring if they pitch their dumb assed story to 100 people they’ll eventually find 1 or 2 rubes willing to fork over some money. Hence, GoFundMe is like Shangra-La for dirtbag flim-flam artists everywhere.

Weird I hear all of these stories about people in accidents with thousands of medical bills. If the car she was in regardless of fault she would have up to 8k in Personal Injury Protection insurance required by MA. And she must not have health insurance either to subsidize the rest?!?! Lol. If it was a hit and run she could tap into her Uninsured Motorist Coverage which at a bare minimum gives you 20k of coverage???

Why are you assuming this is a fake story? People always say I have the worst luck if anything bad going to happen it’s going to happen to me. So I can see these things happening to this guy.

It was me and my knife and my go fund me page. I stabbed it and I was like “uh uh uh”. Also Kevin Cullen was interviewing me right at that moment about how I saw Sasquatch in the woods earlier in the day. I also resuscitated it so Sasquatch lives.

Oh, there’s just so much to say here! First the coyote: very rarely does a coyote exceed 35 lbs. So his claim of an 80 lb. coyote is preposterous. Secondly, coyote are nocturnal and are very rarely seen during the day. Third, coyote behavior would be more consistent with an attack on smaller prey, such as your chickens.

Second on the list is the preposterous claim that someone had raided his bank account to the tune of $25,000.00 (I didn’t know that you could accumulate that amount of money turning in beer bottles). Even if what he is saying was absolutely the gospel truth, federal law only allows $50.00 of liability to be imposed on the account holder, and only if he were negligent. Ever wonder why the bank always scrutinizes your signature on your check? It’s because they are ultimately liable to ensure that the check is actually written by you.

The backhoe: that is very believable. However, only a moron would not do their due diligence. Did he look at the title? The registration? What was the form of payment? Usually these scamsters require either eBay gift cards or require transfer by Western Union.

Now let’s look at the “accident” his wife was allegedly in. In Massachusetts there is something called the PIP statute, which mandates that each person’s insurance company pay the first $8,000 of medical bills and lost wages. This is the no fault provision of insurance law in Massachusetts. And, if what he was saying is true, lawyers would be lined up outside his house to take the case on a contingent basis. Now his assertion that no one had insurance is also bullshit. In Massachusetts it’s compulsory to have insurance. Even if the other driver didn’t have it, his wife,s policy mandated an amount for uninsured or underinsured drivers.

Is it me or does this lush look like George on the Seinfeld show?

I just talked to his lawyer from the firm Dewey, Cheatem and Howe…. They said he’s legit.

Gofundme campaigns are scams. A former friend of mine set one up after high school. She wanted 2,000$ to help fund her nursing education. Needless to say, I stopped talking to her after that. Her stepfather was a lawyer, and if I remember correctly her mother was Occupational Therapist. The level of entitlement people have nowadays is sickening. Pay for your own education.

And as someone who was hit, on the pike, by an uninsured driver, I call B.S. on his story. My insurance covered it. If she has minimal protection she should be somewhat fine. Regardless, if the other party is at fault, I believe the car’s insurance (this guy was driving a car he borrowed) might cover it. I’m no expert, so I could be absolutely wrong on the last point. My health insurance kicked in when my auto insurance ran out.

Mike, I’ve purchase many items on Craig’s List. However, you have to go in with eyes wide open. Never pay cash for a big ticket item. Always have a bill of sale, just in case it’s hot. Always require the seller to give you a copy of their license.

Also, if it’s too good to be true it’s a scam. I tried to buy a landscape trailer off of Craig’s list. It was listed for about one third of the price of a new trailer. The inability to produce a title coupled with their requirement that I pay with eBay gift cards alerted me to the scam. However, even the eBay number that was given was as actually real. I just happened to do my due diligence and asked about payment in the form of gift cards and was told that they NEVER required encourage that.

But I could see how someone unsuspecting could get duped

You can do lots of useful things with a backhoe. That’s how people many people who work in his field are able to obtain new work and just get paid more to do a job in general. If your framing a house which is carpentry it’s much more efficient to be able to do as much work yourself as possible. I personally wouldn’t want a backhoe, he would be better off with a skid steer. With which he could do the snow removal he mentioned.or a mini excavatior, can’t remove snow with it but it’s definitely more useful than a backhoe. Easier to move too. JCB is a shit machine by the way.

    Brian,

Why do scam artists on GoFundMe always include the caveat, “I’m not one who will reach out to ask for help”.

Yes. You guys ALWAYS ask for help – usually for the “disease”.

If you really saved an elderly’s man with CPR – you must have broken a few of his ribs caused lung bruising, damage to the airway, internal organs and internal bleeding. CPR only works about 5% in the elderly.
What town was this in? Time frame? This can be easily verified.

    Get Fucked,

It’s possible but not very likely. Coyotes, even hunting in packs, will very rarely attack larger animals such as dogs. Most of their meals are mice, moles or other very small mammals.
