So one of our newest advertisers is Clark University:

We’re happy to have them on board, and greatly appreciate their financial support. Without people like them, none of this is possible. We can only assume that they approve of our content, and the students who pay tuition money to Clark University are happy that they are spending it on Turtleboy Jr’s new braces!!

Anyway, this is really eating up Worcester’s most infamous unemployed toilet scrubber, Steve Quist, who runs the irrelevant Facebook page “Worcester Politics 101”:

So let me get this straight. Mike Gaffney advertises with us by dealing directly with us and cutting out of the middle man. Clark University goes through our ad network, they pay the ad network a fee, and then their ad ends up on Turtleboy anyway. But as long as they’re not “purposely” advertising on Turtleboy, they don’t get boycotted? Yea, that makes sense.

This is what it looks like when Turtleboy literally owns every singe square inch in your simple minded brain. I knew the second we posted this on Facebook yesterday that it was only a matter of time until we heard from the “yea, but those are Google ads” crowd. For the record, this obviously was placed on our site through our ad network. Big businesses don’t have time to be dealing directly with publishers. It’s not like we’re gonna call up Mr. Uber or Mr. Staples and ask them to advertise with us. So these businesses (and yes, Clark is a business, it just pays no taxes) pay ad networks to geographically target certain areas by placing their ads on sites within those areas. Since Clark is in Worcester, it’s not surprising to see them on our site.

But make no doubt about it – they are still paying us, and they don’t have to. It’s undeniable. The only difference is that a middle man collected a fee for them in order to do so. Clark, like any company that uses Google AdSense, has the ability to put any site they want on their “do not advertise” list. But they didn’t put us on it. Because they know that Turtleboy was voted Worcester County’s top news outlet for a reason – everyone who matters reads Turtleboy. And much like any other business, they just want to be seen if they’re going to spend all this money. And since no one reads the Turtlegram, their money is much better spent putting an ad on Turtleboy Sports. Hell, even the Turtlegram advertisers on Turtleboy Sports:

My question is, what’s next on the list for the butthurts to boycott? Google? I mean, our ad network uses Google AdSense, and they’re the ones who put it there, right? Oh wait, they don’t actually boycott anything. These ding-dongs click on our blogs more than anyone. They are the biggest turtle riders out of us all. They read every single blog, looking for things that offend them. But they still read them, which makes them turtle riders. Sorry Quist, you’re one of us now.

The funniest part about this is that Steve Quist was a HUGE turtle rider, until we criticized his butt buddy Joe Petty. Guy was like a watch dog who came after ANYONE who said anything negative on our Facebook page, and even threatened to confront them at his June Street home:

P.S. For you people who aren’t from Worcester, just to show you how stupid and simple minded Steve Quist is, listen to him ramble on here at the City Council meeting where the CC voted to become a sanctuary city:

“They say history, if we don’t learn from it, we’re condemned to repeat it. When are the bands….uh…uh….done? When is this ban gonna be put away? There is no need what we’re facing here today. We’re a darn good city. We’re a safe city. And we have people that want to sew divisiveness within this city. And turn around just for political points. And it’s just so hate. And it’s divide us. And that’s not what this city is about. The time is now to stand up. Do not eviscerate. Do not….uh….uh….make your decisions in just or in light. Ya know, you have to stand up right now and soundly reject 11A. If you do not soundly reject 11A you cannot be on the bubble. You need to stand up for the city for what we value and for who we are, and support the immigrants, the community, the fabric that we are.”

I could listen to him rant all day. I love when he runs out of words to use because he’s a toilet scrubber with such a simple vocabulary. Just a reminder, this is the resolution he was all worked up about:

“Our City Council supports federal law and does not join other communities in declaring themselves sanctuary cities. We will always be welcoming of new immigrants and refugees to our city but only to those that follow our laws,” the resolution states.

I’m still confused what the problem with that is. We support federal law? Sounds awful. We do not risk the loss of $59 million in federal funding by declaring that we will violate federal law? Wow, what a dumb proposal. We will always welcome new immigrants and refugees who follow our laws? Sounds pretty divisive to me!!

Anyway, go over to the Worcester Politics 101 page and call Steve Quist out on this. Just flood it. He bans people immediately on his “open political discussion” page if he doesn’t agree with you. Let’s see how many turtle riders can get banned!!

We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.

Good for Clark, they know where to go for exposure. Quist on the other hand needs to disappear. Along with so many old clones in this city.

Don’t be too quick to assume that everyone in my generation is a cry baby wuss bag… they’re just the ones that get all the press and attention for screaming the loudest about dumb things. There are still a good number of us who are trying to live a normal life, despite our insane peers.

At what point does sending your kid to college for a lib arts degree become shitty parenting?

Welcome to adulthood snowflakes. Have fun being 100k in debt right off the bat while applying for $15/hr jobs.

        From Chron dot com:

“According to a 2013 salary survey conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, or NACE, students who major in Liberal Arts or General Studies reported a median starting salary of $41,800. Half of students who graduated with these majors in 2013 reported first-year salaries ranging from $35,800 to $48,500. ”

That’s about what I pay my laborers.

        Btw, you’re a twat.
