So a few months ago some Southbridge chumpelstiltskin named Raul Morales was pulled over by a State Trooper who asked to see his license and registration. Pretty standard. But apparently Raul didn’t think it was fair to ask him this question and he refused. After several minutes of this mature back and forth the trooper informed chumpelstiltskin that he was under arrest. That’s when the iPhone came out and Raul tried to become the latest victim of faux police brutality:

Let’s break down the play by play from that video so we can see what a winner Raul Morales is….

“I don’t consent for you to search my car, can you call a sergeant please?”

Yea, because people who have committed crimes have to give the cops permission before their vehicles are searched. Definitely.

“He needs to explain to me why he pulled me over.”

Hey, here’s an idea – just do what the cops ask. I know, it’s crazy, but it just might work. You’ll find out shortly why you were pulled over. Don’t worry, he’ll tell ya. He pinky swears he won’t keep it a secret.

“Why am I being under arrest for? What crime have I committed?”

His mastery of the English language is impeccable. Obviously this Rhodes Scholar knows the law much more than the guy who enforces the law on a daily basis.

Trooper: “You failed to give me your license.”

Chumpelstiltskin: “Is that a state law?”

Trooper: “Yes. Chapter 90 Section 25.”

Chumpelstiltskin: “That’s not a law, that’s an orderance. A city orderance.”

I don’t know who’s right here. Tough to decide. On the one hand the trooper has experience and the law behind him. But on the other hand chumpelstiltskin knows a lot of city “orderances.” Let’s check out what it says in the Massachusetts General Laws:

“Section 25. Any person who, while operating or in charge of a motor vehicle, shall refuse, when requested by a police officer, to give his name and address or the name and address of the owner of such motor vehicle, or who shall give a false name or address, or who shall refuse or neglect to stop when signalled to stop by any police officer who is in uniform or who displays his badge conspicuously on the outside of his outer coat or garment, or who refuses, on demand of such officer, to produce his license to operate such vehicle or his certificate of registration, or to permit such officer to take the license or certificate in hand for the purpose of examination, or who refuses, on demand of such officer, to sign his name in the presence of such officer, and any person who on the demand of an officer of the police or other officer mentioned in section twenty-nine or authorized by the registrar, without a reasonable excuse fails to deliver his license to operate motor vehicles or the certificate of registration of any motor vehicle operated or owned by him or the number plates furnished by the registrar for said motor vehicle, or who refuses or neglects to produce his license when requested by a court or trial justice, shall be punished by a fine of one hundred dollars.”

Yea, the mere fact that it’s actually listed in the Mass General Laws, means that it’s a law, not an orderance. Ya know, because the L in MGL stands for “laws.”

“I’m not getting out of the car. If you want me to get out of the car you’re gonna have to touch me and assault me. Because you’re assaulting me as soon as you take my car.”

It’s almost like there’s a common thread in every viral police brutality cop block video where every one of these situations begins when the innocent person filming it is actively resisting arrest.

“I’ve had enough with all this talk. This is enough.”

Ya heard that trooper? He’s had enough. You can go home now.

“Young man, get out of the car.”

“I’m not a young man. I’m 34 years old.”

I’m 34 years old, but that’s like 59 in Southbridge years. Also please don’t call me young man. As you can see I am a mature and respectable adult who should be treated as such. It’s not like I’m acting like a child and throwing a hissy fit because I don’t want to show you my license.

“I’m not getting out of the vehicle, I haven’t done anything wrong.”

“You refused to give me your driver’s license.”

“I HAVEN’T done anything wrong. You took my driver’s license from me. You have it in your hand.”

Yea, he didn’t do anything wrong. You took his license because he wouldn’t give it to you. That’s the same thing as handing over your license. Also, if you say you haven’t done anything wrong, no matter how many times the trooper tells you the specific law you have violated, you are right, so long as you keep saying you haven’t done anything wrong.

“I feel for my danger.”

“Why do you feel for your danger?”

I hate when I feel for my danger. Shit is scary.

“Because, all the stuff that’s going on. Look at what you guys doing, you just opened my door and took my ID like a tyranny!!! It’s tyranny.”

The cop is “a tyranny.” He thinks tyranny is a person. Obviously he knows what he’s talking about. Cop is fucked.

“Why have I being under arrest?”

Amazing.

“What crime have I committed? If you explain to me what crime I committed I’ll get out right now.”

Yea, he hasn’t done that yet. Definitely keep asking him, and when he tells you, ask him again. This should end well.

“You need to call your sergeant or your captain right now because he needs to explain this.”

Good point. A higher ranking officer of the law will tell him that MGL 90:25 doesn’t really exist.

“I don’t have to get out of the car, this is my personal vehicle.”

“I do not consent. My lawyer told me I do not consent.”

You heard the man – he does not consent. His lawyer told him doesn’t have to. And they dragged him out of the car while he resisted arrest anyway. Seems like an open and shut Internet lawsuit! How’d this one end?

So you’re saying that he was forced to pay $100 (which he more than likely will pay for by selling food stamps on Facebook), which is the exact punishment outlined in MGL 90:25? Wow. Wasn’t the ending I was expecting. Turns out the trooper was right all along.

Of course all of this could’ve been avoided if Raul Morales had just handed over his driver’s license and both parties could’ve gone on their way. But thanks to black lives matter the media now glorifies every chudstuffer with an iPhone who doesn’t think he has to follow a direct order from the police. Now this guy’s gonna have something on his record and future employers will be able to find it on a CORI check. LOL. Just kidding, we all know this guys will never, ever have interest in obtaining employment. What’s the point when you can live in glamorous Southbridge, collect from the government, and not report your cash-only income to the Uncle Sam.

Lmfao thanks turtle boy first let me say that I have a great job second I won everything in court . And third thanks for all the views scumbag $$ I Own a multi family in southbridge but I live in Boston . thanks to you for picking up the video . Most of you just let the law stick it to yal right in the butt and go to court and let the judge push it in deeper for not knowing the law . learn suckers learn look it up police officers can’t just pull you over for any reason and not give you a ticket or a citation . So when an officer or peace officer pulls you over he needs to have a reason weather is a traffic violation or for a crime committed. Not just because he feels like it . you don’t have to give your personal info to anyone And yes I was nervous when I got pulled over and when he opened the door and snatched my license out my lap but I tell you what police don’t pull WHITE people over just because . And big ups to the judge for dismissing the case .

Assuming Panchito is in truth Morales:

It’s admirable to stand up against tyranny. We can’t let those who police us operate with impunity or without balance.

With that said: You didn’t win shit. You were handcuffed, your car was impounded and you had to call family/friends to bail your ass out of jail. You likely had to pay for the tow and the impound / lot fee. And you’ve been publicly shamed on one of the premier news sources in Massachusetts.

      Good luck with your life.

You’re response (provided it is really you), just goes to prove, what an uneducated, moronic , idiotic, immature, douche you really are.

I travel the interstates and back roads of the Commonwealth daily, and I see a lot of us white people pulled over by the police….and they cop usually has a little white piece of paper (hint – not the license or registration) with him/her when they walk back to the car. And if you have ever received a ticket (as I have), the LAW that you broke is clearly stated in the ticket.

Too bad the cops can’t write a ticket to people like you for simply “being a douchebag in the daytime”!

How about this: obey the fucking laws like you, and everyone else should (no matter if you are white, black, PR, other ethnicity, gay, straight, democrat, republican, dickless, or whatever), be polite and respectful to the law, or go live in some other country where you can be the douche that you truly are, and see how you are treated there…

I love sjw’s. It makes me laugh every time these idiots try to debate the law with a cop only to end up losing in the end. I’m white and I’ve been pulled over plenty of times so the whole cops don’t pull white people over…… myth debunked!!!! The difference between you and me is I just give my license and registration and don’t act like a jerk off. Most of the cops I’ve been pulled over by were extremely nice and treated me with the same respect I treated them with and didn’t give me a ticket because I wasn’t a douche nozzle. Here’s a little secret, most cops hate pulling people over(I said most cause there’s exceptions to that statement). If you treat them with the respect you would want someone to treat you with, you will see a different outcome. Any of my friends that are cops will tell you they hate pulling people over and if your not a sjw bitch and just have some decency they will let you go… Ive also been pulled over by some cops who were super assholes but I just said yes sir and no sir and went on my way. Me being confrontational is not gonna help my cause at all. Why escalate the situation by acting like an asshole. Plus that’s just the way I was raised. I was taught to respect cops. Not to argue with them and make up fake laws. That’s what’s wrong with this world today. My father(if he was still alive) would of beat the brakes off me for acting like that. Parents today encourage their kids to act like this and these are the kids that are gonna run our world….. We’re fucked. Lol

I wouldn’t last a morning as a cop, po-po, state trooper, I’d be the one in jail by lunch…Can you imagine the horror of having to pull over assclown after asshat, to take this kinda crap, I might repeat myself about twice thereafter I’d have to nightstick your head to loosen up whatever seems to be clogging your ears. If I can turn things around, the state gets their share of a $100 bucks. Unfortunately with advances in technology and growth of “social media” over the last decade, I feel like I am watching the downfall of civilized society everytime I see a video like this. It appears that people are emboldend by the fact they know they are recording to say and do things that are absurd to reasonable people.

Seriously Drivers Ed 101, when stopped by marked law enforcement while operating a motor vehicle be prepared to present license and registration, and most states proof of insurance. So what was the issue? He had an ID of some sort why not present it when requested? I can only conclude he had nothing better to do and was hoping for his 15 minutes of fame. So glad Turtleboy gave it to him. The people who star in these blogs should serve as an example of why an American Legal class should be mandatory for all high schoolers. Cleary misconception has spread about our laws. They are not optional! Once you break the laws you concede to accept he punishment. The only place you are entitled to privacy is within your own home. While we are at it, high schoolers should be required to take a civics class. No, not to learn more about Honda, to learn how to be a productive member of society. Come on, we have to educate society on how to actually be great again! America is a nation created by “We the people”, so we need to strive for that more perfect union daily.

          Mr Mr.

I thought you were just being a cunt, but sure enough, page 47 of the Massachusetts Driver’s Manual explains this in detail.

While, I perceive the drivers manual as a convenient (non binding) guide of the codified laws, it’s sufficient enough for my purposes.

Thanks for your accurate, yet gruff response.

MGL Ch. 90 S. 25 is a 100 dollar fine and no jail time, but it is arrestable. Just like MGL Ch. 90 S. 10, operating without a license is arrestable but no jail time. Both of those are codified under Ch. 90 s. 21 which tells all of the MV violations that are arrestable.

Failure to provide your name to a police officer when asked; not limited to stating your name but including failure to provide a License or ID upon being stopped for investigation is an arrestable offense in Massachusetts per MGL. (Example) If your break light is not completely functionable and you are stopped for investigation for said break light, and you refuse to give provide your name, you are now subject to Arrest.

There is one word that comes to my mind when dealing with law enforcement: Compliancy.

Most likely, when law enforcement personal makes a request upon a civilian it’s within the boundaries of the law in which they are paid to uphold. And if you fail to comply repeatedly, don’t be surprised if you go to jail or depending on the situation you get shot.

Correct me if I am wrong.
