Daily CollegianSix students from the University of Massachusetts were arraigned at the Hampshire District Court Feb. 6. During the rally on Sunday night, roughly 2,000 upset students in the Southwest residential area of UMass congregated together in the middle of the residential area shouting, “F*** the Eagles!”, smashing multiple electronics and getting into fights. All resulting in the UMass police officers using “PepperBall” pellets to clear the area after multiple dispersal orders were issued to no effect. According to Deputy Director of News and Media Relations, Mary Dettloff, the arraigned students are the following:

Timothy B. Canning, 18, of Palmer, Massachusetts on the charge of rioting, disorderly conduct and failure to disperse.

Marc A. Griffiths, 20, of West Brookfield, Mass., who was charged with disorderly conduct.

Zachary B. Korff, 20, of Quincy, Mass., who was charged with disorderly conduct.

Michael P. Mahoney, 18, of Worcester, Mass., who was charged with assault and battery of a police officer, rioting, failure to disperse and disorderly conduct.

Jack H. McDermott, 19, of Weymouth, Mass., who was charged with disorderly conduct.

Joseph D. Neylon, 19, of North Chelmsford, Mass., who was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

In addition to the six students arraigned today, yesterday on Feb. 5, Jordan Ortiz, 22, of Marshfield, Mass. was also arraigned in the Hampshire District Court on charges of disorderly conduct, rioting and failing to disperse. According to Ortiz’s arrest report, police officers gave multiple dispersal warnings, “due to the violent behavior, involving bottles, cans, ice chunks and televisions being thrown in the crowd.”

The arrest report also states police officers saw Ortiz near a crowd of roughly 20 to 30 students near Kennedy Hall. Ortiz was allegedly taunting police officers shouting, “F*** the police,” and then prompted to allegedly throw “an unidentified dark object toward uniform police officers.” The report also states that, “His behavior recklessly created a risk to the uniformed police officers and also provoked others in the area.” According to MassLive, Ortiz denied all charges and is set for a pre-trial conference on Mar. 27.

Along with Ortiz, Mahoney was also allegedly taunting police officers, and was observed to be allegedly throwing large chunks of ice at officers, according to court documents. According to the Hampshire District Court, Mahoney was released today and is set for a pre-trial on Mar. 30.

On days like today I miss Larry Kelley more than ever. Larry ran the Only In The Republic Of Amherst blog, which basically existed for days like today. Larry was a concerned taxpaying resident of Amherst who was at every UMass “riot” taking pictures and chronicling what transpired. Then he’d go to court to take pictures of students who were arrested for mayhem which he then posted to his blog for the purpose of public humiliation. It was great.

But he didn’t just do hit pieces, he actually broke a lot of real news, and his journalism was highly respected. Unfortunately Larry Kelley was killed almost a year ago in a head on collision with a distracted driver. I would’ve loved to wake up and read Larry’s blog today. RIP Larry.

Anyway, one of those names stood out:

Along with Ortiz, Michael Mahoney was also allegedly taunting police officers, and was observed to be allegedly throwing large chunks of ice at officers, according to court documents. According to the Hampshire District Court, Mahoney was released today and is set for a pre-trial on Mar. 30.

Source tell us that this chudmuffin throwing ice chunks at the cops is the son of State Representative John Mahoney:

The same guy who was recently exposed by Fox 25 News (yes, they sometimes do real news) for stealing from the taxpayers when he collected per diems for driving expenses to work (from a guy who recently voted to increase his salary by 40%), even when he wasn’t working:

25 Investigates found state representatives Sean Garballey of Arlington, Paul McMurtry of Dedham and John Mahoney of Worcester all collected tax dollars for commutes to the State House that they never made under the per diem program. When 25 Investigates tried to find state Rep. John Mahoney at the State House Thanksgiving week last year, his staff said he was “out all week.” Yet the Worcester Democrat claimed he commuted to the State House two days that week on a per diem form signed “under the pains and penalties of perjury.” Mahoney has yet to respond to any emails or calls for comment – including one message left with his father. At $36 per day, he’s charged taxpayers more than $12,000 for his commutes since 2014.

I’ll fault John Mahoney for his fiscal irresponsibility, and his outright perjury for collecting per diem cash on days he didn’t commute to work. But I’m not gonna fault him for his 18 year old son acting like a dooshnozzle. You can do everything right, and the second your kid goes to UMass it all turns to shit. That place takes choir boys and turns them into Belushi. At least Mahoney didn’t try to call in a favor to the Amherst PD to get them to alter the arrest report. He might be buddies with Joe Early, but he’s probably been reading Turtleboy and realizes now that that’s not allowed anymore.

So, just for the record, this is pretty standard at UMass. And to call it a “riot” is pretty misleading. Stores get looted during riots. Cars get flipped over during riots. Reginald Denny gets his ass beat during riots.

But at UMass, whenever a Boston team wins or loses, thousands of drunkards congregate in Southwest and start chanting “Yankees suck.” It’s mostly freshmen and sophomores who still live on campus and have nothing better to do. No one’s really drinking much because you’re out in public and there’s cops everywhere, but you’re so wasted by that time that you don’t care.

Probably 99% of the people in attendance are there to watch 1% of students (all dudes) take their shirts off and burn anything they can get their hands on. Which usually ends up being their shirts. You’re pretty much guaranteed to see at least three pairs of bare nipples from attention starved coeds on someone’s shoulders, and if you’re lucky some idiot will jump off the dining commons and break his leg. A few slugpumps will be sacrificed by trying to impress a bunch of strangers by yelling “fuck the police,” getting too close to them, and getting their asses beat and cuffed.

I mainly went to these things because it was the thing to do. It’s not like you could sleep through them. Plus you got the added bonus of watching 5 or 6 morons throw their college careers away. Because all of these idiots will probably  be expelled from school. Hope it was worth it. You guys are such badasses! Fuck the po-lease!

But at least the six UMass students have an excuse – they’re  young and stupid. Most importantly they live there. Not this shithead:

Jordan Ortiz apparently used to go to school there, and now he lives in neighboring Belchertown. Still living the dream. Except now he’s the creepy 22 year old who still hangs out in Southwest while everyone else his age is uptown at the Monkey Bar. Everything you need to know about Jordan Ortiz can be learned from his taste in music:

I have absolutely no clue who “Lil Twist” is. Quite frankly he sounds delicious. But the flat brimmed Chicago Bulls hat tells me all I need to know about both his music, and his fans.

Turns out it wasn’t pubestrap’s first time being arrested at UMass either:

One of the seven University of Massachusetts students facing charges following the post-Super Bowl melee on campus was also charged with attacking a paramedic in November 2016, according to court records.Ortiz was charged with assault and battery on ambulance personnel, interfering with a firefighter, resisting arrest, malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct. University of Massachusetts police officer Nathan Fisher reported seeing Ortiz “grasping a paramedic and pushing him,” according to court documents for that case.

Fisher told Ortiz to stop because “his actions were preventing the paramedics from administering care,” according to the police report. Fisher said he tried to pull Ortiz away from the paramedic, and eventually pulled Ortiz into the hall. In the hallway, though, Ortiz “continued to tense his body and push against me” trying to get back into the room, according to the report. According to the report, Ortiz refused to put his hands behind his back after Fisher put him on the ground, and was yelling obscenities.

My question is, why was he allowed to remain as a student after assaulting a Goddamn paramedic and UMass cop? Back in ought two there was no tolerance for this shit. If you got arrested a riot it was si-oh-na-ra. How many chances are these ungrateful asswipes getting these days?

According to the School Newspaper these fake “riots” are a bonding experience:

Which has an element of truth to it, but nevertheless left many severely triggered:

Those two winners sound like TONS of fun. Hey Kira, let me know when the black lives matter riot is and I’ll be there. Oh wait, they had one of those in Baltimore and a CVS burnt down. Oops!

Anyway, the bottom line is, it’s OK to go these “riots” because they’re not really riots. Just tell your kids to make sure they’re the ones observing the mayhem instead of the ones creating it.

When you are a public official and commit fraud you become a legitimate target. And deserving too.

How many powerful and influential people does turd boy have to piss off before , well what I would imagine would happen , happens . Howie Carr got away with it all thees years so maybe it’s possible to keep making money off throwing others under the bus , then again who knows .

What would you “imagine would happen”, moonbat? Are the Democrats going to assassinate someone else and then turn around and make a holiday out of it?

This totally reminds me of the Nika Revolt of AD 532. THAT is how we did sports-game riots back in the day.

OH man if this motherfucker ever stepped within a 10 foot radius I would make him regret being born. Similar to the way Bret K’s mother felt every time she looked at her son and though about all the alcohol she drank plus the coke and dope when she was pregnant with him. LITTLE BRET K never stood a chance. I’d hit him with a quick jab to the mouth, followed with an uppercut with my battering ram right hand right into his gut, then a knee to that pussys whole head. He’d be coughing up blood for a week. WHERE ARE YOU BRET? SHOW YOURSELF YOU FUCKING COWARD. WHATS YOUR ADDRESS?!?!?!

Just end yourself, asshole. Kill your family, while you’re at it. The scumbags who raised an utterly useless piece of shit like you deserve to die, and any self-hating whore who would be attracted to you is equally useless. God forbid you have any offspring, but if you do, either give them over to DCF, or drown them in the bathtub.

      Make it a family night!

I’m just kidding, you silly dillys! 😉 Don’t you love my hardo imitation?

I just wanted to trick Bret into giving me his address so I can send him a fruit basket and some noodz of little ol’ me covered in Crisco wearing nothing but chaps and a smile.

Guess what I really do with my “battering ram” hand? Just a little hint – it smells like the Cobb salad I ate last night.

You know who else used to think they were tough?  Fat Kevin Lynch. Maybe if he grew up in Fitchburg he would have fooled people. But unfortunately for him, he grew up in the city. And city kids do not like fat, non-athletic blow hard pussies they think they are tough. Especially ones that kill well like neighborhood kids because they will never be well liked themselves.

Just kill yourself already you fat fuck

Here’s an idea; let’s just give these two misguided youths a stern talking to, and let them stay at school.

I’m sure that they’ve learned their lesson this time, and won’t EVER do anything stupid again. Oh, wait…
