The Telegram and Gazette continues to be a bigger joke by the day. Yesterday witty columnist Dianne Williamson announced that her column had been cancelled:
Without having any knowledge of the situation, we already knew the reason why. Dianne is blunt and honest in her columns, and the talk of the town right now is the Mosaic Cultural Center, and this proclamation from CEO Brenda Jenkins’ son Robert Alston, who also receives paychecks from Mosaic:
The Telegram has written many articles about Mosaic since we exposed this, and reluctantly cited us two days ago, after the Boston Globe did. Not once has any of their reporters brought up this Facebook post. Why would they? It’s only the most important piece of this whole pie. It’s a full fledged confession from a Mosaic employee that they are guilting dopey progressive white people into throwing cash at what he refers to as, “dumb n words.”
So yea, just as we guessed it, Dianne’s column was refused publication because it was critical of Mosaic:
But yet in today’s paper, Clive McFarlane wrote a nonsensical defense of Mosaic by writing an “open letter” to his girl Parlee Jones and “Sister Brenda.” We were wondering how Spanky would try to justify the indisputable evidence that Mosaic has considered fraud:
I am sure you’re aware of the little trouble facing Sister Brenda and Mosaic, her hardscrabble organization that survives by picking up crumbs from the table of the city’s grant programs but which is now being attacked because seemingly even the crumbs are too generous in some people’s eyes.
First of all….Sister Brenda? Seriously? They printed this nonsense? You know who can’t call her Sister Brenda? White people. Because with Clive McFarlane it is ALWAYS about the color of your skin.
Secondly, she ain’t “picking up crumbs” from the city’s grant programs. She took the whole pie. And she’s not being attacked because these “crumbs” are too generous. She’s being attacked because she lied and cheated to get those crumbs.
But wait, it gets better:
Now, Parlee, you know I don’t like to poke my nose in other people’s business, but if the propaganda campaign against Sister Brenda deserves the CNN coverage it is getting, I would like to know why we haven’t heard a peep about other individuals and organizations in this city that have committed similar or greater sins than those of which Mosaic is being accused.
HAHHAHAHAHHAA. He doesn’t like to “poke his nose in other people’s business.” That might the funniest thing he’s ever written. Remember when Spanky wrote an article last March announcing that he had “unmasked Turtleboy.” He literally spent an entire column throwing out ridiculous accusations about who Turtleboy is, but yet now he’s sailing that he doesn’t poke his nose in other people’s business. And his proof was a website called “Buffalo Bruises” which is currently being sued for $500,000 because they literally make stories up out of thin air. This is a source the Telegram will cite. Hilarious.
Classic Spanky. He finally admits that Mosaic is a fraud, but it’s OK because the media hasn’t been going after other organizations that are stealing money from the city. He then goes on to list a bunch of organizations who have screwed the city out of money in the past and highlights the lack of media coverage for them. Hey Spanky, ya know why those organizations didn’t get as much coverage? Because their employees don’t write stuff like this on Facebook:
We could probably find shit about every non-profit in this state if we wanted to. But we picked Mosaic because they organized both the Kelley Square and Lincoln Square blockades. It is undeniable. We have pictures of the protesters before and afterwards at Mosaic headquarters, listening to speeches by Sarai Rivera, Joyce McNickles, and of course Brenda Jenkins.
Oh yea, and the woman he’s writing this to – Parlee Jones – she is a regular down at Mosaic. As a matter of fact she organized a fundraiser for Louis Farrakhan’s “Justice or Else” movement, which advocates for killing cops:
There was a catch though:
Ahh yes. People of color and “known allies” only. Keep in mind they were hosting this on city owned property at 41 Piedmont Street, run by an unregistered non-profit that is actively receiving grant money from the taxpayers. And they purposely excluded people based on the color of their skin and their political ideology.
The Telegram and Gazette allowed Clive to publish a love letter to a woman who actively practices segregation on city owned property. They published a column that was devoid of facts that could be summed up with one sentence – “
But, but, but, other people are stealing too!!”
I guess it’s not surprising really. The Telegram also published this article in November, written by Clive McFarlane, in which he closes by calling City Councilor Michael Gaffney a “slave master.”
That’s OK, but being critical of a criminal organization that has been stealing money from the taxpayers for years is not OK. That is how executive editor Karen Webber feels. Karen Webber has been running this paper since March of 2015. This woman is the reason that Clive can post his bullshit, but Dianne is censored. This is the face of “real journalism” in 2016:
With a face like that she was destined to be a hack school administrator or the editor at a loser newspaper that is slowly going out of business. Hey Karen, thanks for being the biggest joke going right now. Without you going out of your way to make sure that your paper never mentions Turtleboy Sports people wouldn’t know the extent to which we own your brain. The fact that you are trying soooooo hard to discredit us as legitimate only makes us stronger. It just show how much you are threatened by us. Turtleboy exposes were central to this story. You can’t write an article about it, not quote us, and still expect for anyone to take you seriously.
Seriously though, who would EVER pay to receive a paper run by this woman:
She seems like fun.
The bottom line is that it’s pretty clear that the new ownership isn’t a fan of Dianne Williamson. But Turtleboy can tell you that she’s pretty much the only reason we ever read that rag. We don’t always agree with her, but that’s kind of what makes free speech so awesome. She’s not predictable. You don’t know what her next column will be about. She’s funny. She’s sharp. She is everything that Clive McFarlane is not. And consequently she is being censored while Clive continues to play the only card he knows how to – the race card.
