Remember when David Hogg was a thing? How pissed is he about this broad?

Well apparently today is yet another national walkout of schools. Except a lot of schools are on vacation, and pretty much no one is participating in this month’s walkout because it’s pointless and accomplishes nothing. Here’s the thing – David Hogg was asked NOT to do the walkout on April 20 by the principal of Columbine High School:

Because Columbine students participate in a day of service on April 20th. They actually do something positive in the community. Help people out. Do tangible things that fix problems. As opposed to a walkout which accomplishes nothing and simply gives whiny students something to complain about while skipping school.
And Hogg initially said he’d back down:
But as you can see, he has deleted that tweet. Because David Hogg doesn’t want to do things that actually help the community. He wants soundbites. He wants to give speeches. He wants to call politicians murderers. Productive stuff like that.
And he elected to ignore the requests of Columbine’s principal and do his own thing instead:

Yup. He’s going after financial services companies. So make sure you call them up and tell them you will NOT be using their brokers to purchase mutual funds!! How dare these investment companies invest money into companies that are selling completely legal objects!!
The bottom line is these are stupid, naive children. Kids say dumb things and adults correct those things. That’s how it works in a sane world. But in an insane world we don’t correct the David Hogg’s of the world because adults are using him as a pawn to hide behind, and every time you criticize him you’re picking on a child. When you think about it….a walkout is a protest. What are they protesting? School shootings? Like it’s someone’s fault who runs a school district? Why not stay inside where you are more than likely safer than being outside trying to cause a commotion? All it takes is one lunatic to open fire in the parking lot of a school where a walkout has been publicized. It does no good. I agree with community service in the memories of those lost in school shootings across the country. Take a moment of silence and do something good for the community, raise awareness, have a drill, train a crisis team, do a safety check of the building and its doors, send a letter of condolence, form a support group, meet with counselors…especially those there that day. This guy is looking for his 15 minutes of fame and a way to cut class. Totally bogus.
