So the City of Worcester gives out these TIF’s, which are basically subsidies and tax breaks to companies who want to either open up or expand in Worcester. The idea is that by doing so it will help jump start the economy and get local businesses going. It’s pretty standard stuff.

But here in Worcester a bunch of religious leaders are DEMANDING that the city require that any business getting a TIF deal, pay their workers at least $15 per hour, hire only Worcester residents, and make sure 50% of the jobs are allotted for women, 33% for people of color, and 35% for low income. Here’s their statement they wrote to City Manager Ed Augustus:

“We do not think it is too big of a hurdle or discouragement to ask developers that are the recipients of million-dollar tax breaks from our community to make a commitment to hiring women, people of color, youth and low-income residents,” their letter states. “Nor do we think it is too big of a request to ask that these same recipients of tax breaks pay these workers a livable wage of $15 per hour.”

Obviously two of the “pastors” who signed onto this were Aaron Payson and Jose Encarnacion (Sarai Rivera’s husband). Not a single Catholic priest signed onto it, because Catholic priests aren’t politicians like Payson and crew are. That’s all these idiots are. They are politicians who avoid paying taxes by getting online pastor degrees. Because real religious leaders don’t go around looking for photo ops with politicians.

So my question is, why are we listening to a bunch of free loaders? You pay nothing to the city. You contribute NOTHING. You are a chiseler and a scam artist. You contribute to the racial divide. You suck at everything you do. So why are we listening to you?

The bottom line is if we let these people anywhere near government policies then Worcester will never improve. We’re not exactly a city that can be picky. We’re like the fat girl who can’t find a date to the prom. If we can convince someone to come here, we should be welcoming them with open arms, not scaring them away with a list of demands. Beggars can’t be choosers.

Seriously though, what company wants to open up in a new city and have to worry about filling mandated quotas? What if they’re bombarded with applications from white guys. Are they supposed to halt production until they’ve filled up the diversity quota that a bunch of tax-evading fake pastors came up with? Get out of my face with that jive.

And take a look at some of the winners who were making these demands:

“Eradicate capitalism.”

What the……? Why are we listening to these people? Eradicate capitalism? Next to a symbol for anarchy? Why the fuck is ANYONE listening to a word any of these morons have to say? “Jobs not jails?” Huh? How many causes can they throw into one event? This is what these losers do. They take all this shit they’re standing for and throw it in one big group together. Minimum wage, cops in schools, school to prison pipeline, black lives matter, transgender bathrooms, etc. It’s the same people over and over again. Are we ever gonna learn that these idiots are not to be taken seriously?

See if you can spot any other winners in this photograph (in the back):

Raise your right hand if you’ve ever done seven years in state prison for killing a man in 1992. We refuse to acknowledge certain individuals on this blog, but we were just curious why the City Council of Worcester is even considering the advice of an ex-convict who has no association with this city whatsoever? Just sayin.

Then you’ve got this slug rake chiming in:

“You should HAVE to play ball with Worcester residents on the team.” Deb Powers hasn’t had a job in years, leeches off the government, pays for her rent with a GoFundMe, and had her apartment raided by the FBI because there were thousands of images of child pornography under her roof. But yea, lets listen to her demands. Because she matters.

Anyway, I’m sure Ed Augustus and Joe Petty will give in to their bullshit. They always do. Tony Economou apparently already has. It goes once again to show how Gaffney, Lukes, and Rosen are the only ones who aren’t intimidated by these dolts and do the people’s work instead.

When it comes to construction and the trades you have to have certain skills. Should this be overlooked to hire simply to reach quotas?

Apply this rule to public sector workers too – 50% of trash collectors have to be women!

Oh, no woman would apply for that job? PATRIARCHY!!!

If they want Worcester residents to have jobs, they should apply the same logic to public employees. Why should a private business be required to hire residents when half of the public employees are from out of town?

For those who are not fiscally inclined $15 minus taxes is like $6.25 an hour. Let’s all be happy we have granite state houses and statues on the lawns.

These protestors are not helping Worcester residents but hurting Worcester. We need jobs and market rate housing. Not social engineering and made up demands for $15 an hour. And if economics do not matter why not $50 or $100?

They demand that only city residents can be hired. But right there in the picture you’ve got a nutbag resident of the Dirty Burg who killed a man in 1992.

That’s okay, it just means they’ll be opening businesses in the surrounding towns. Not Worcester ! ! !
