Tom Brady’s Response To Reggie Wayne Calling Him A Cheater Is Exactly Why We Are So Blessed To Be Patriots Fans

Reggie Wayne is the ultimate Indianapolis Colt. He’s soft, he spent his entire career whining about the Patriots being too physical with pansy receivers like him, and when he got a chance to actually play for us he quit during training camp because all the hard work was “not fun.” That’s why it was hardly surprising when he suggested that Brady couldn’t win the MVP because he was suspended by a Nazi dictator named Roger Goodell despite facts and science proving he did nothing wrong.

This despite the fact that a federal judge ruled that Brady did not deflate the balls, and an appeals decision simply stated that whether or not Brady deflated the balls is irrelevant because Nazis like Goodell don’t need proof to suspend their players.

If Tom Brady were a mortal human being he would fire right back at Reggie Wayne. But he’s not. He’s a special, once in a lifetime human being whom God has blessed us with because he loves us more than everyone else. And this was on full display this morning on the Kirk and Callahan show when he answered a question about Reggie Wayne’s stupid comment:

“I don’t know what Reggie said or anything, but I liked being with Reggie. I actually had a lot of great conversations with him. Played against him for a long time; he’s a Hall of Famer. I always wish Reggie the best. He was a great player,” Brady said.

When informed that Wayne called him a cheater, Brady laughed.

“Well, I still think he’s a great player, and it doesn’t change the experience I had with him when he was here,” he said.

When hosts Kirk Minihane and Gerry Callahan told Brady he has no “hate in his heart,” Brady explained how he tries to live his life in that regard.

“I think there have been a lot of people who have said things over the years that I disagree with, but I try to get up every day and do the best I can do,” Brady said, seemingly in reference to a chapter from “The Four Agreements,” a book Brady said has helped him get through difficult times in his life, including Deflategate.

“You give everyone else your power when you start reacting to everything they say. I wouldn’t change places with anybody.”

See that right there? That’s why the Patriots win all the time. Because we don’t waste our time with bullshit. We only say nice things about our opponents, despite the butthurt things they say about us. Because we are better than them and the world expects more from us. Ultimately at the end of the day Brady thinks Reggie Wayne is a good guy who just couldn’t keep his mouth shut because he wasn’t trained in the art of shutting the fuck up by Bill Belichick. He played on shitbag teams where players could voice their opinions publicly without getting traded to Cleveland for a fourth round pick. Brady knows better and feels bad for him. I would too after watching the beating that no-names like Eugene wilson put on him every time he came to Foxboro.

Anyway, all this talk about MVP is a waste of time. You know who cares about meaningless things like MVP’s? Peyton Manning fans. There’s nothing more meaningless than winning an MVP. The goal is to win the Super Bowl. Brady does that better than everyone else combined, and even when he doesn’t win he still comes pretty close.

For the record, Brady has the highest completion percentage in the league this year. He is 12th in the league in TD passes, despite playing in half the games, beating out chumps like Carson Palmer, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco, Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Tannehill, Alex Smith, and Russell Wilson. He has ZERO interceptions.

Yes, the Patriots went 3-1 without him, but that’s because Jimmy Garoppolo is pretty damn good too, and he won us two games. With Jacoby Brissett in the game we got shutout at home against the Bills. Since Brady came back we have won each and every game by double digits. Three of the four teams he’s beaten made the playoffs last year or had a winning record this year. The Patriots would probably go 11-5 with Jimmy at QB. With Brissett they’d be 7-9. With Brady they’d go 16-0. No other quarterback in the NFL has that kind of effect, and his comments towards Reggie Wayne only prove that more.

His biggest competitors at this point are Matt Ryan, Derek Carr, and Ezekial Elliot. All of them are worthy and have had great seasons. But ultimately none of them has done shit in the playoffs before. Running backs should also be disqualified, since Ezekial Elliot is only as good as the holes that his offensive line (which is probably the best in the NFL) provides him.

But let’s suppose the Raiders go 13-3, or the Falcons go 12-4, and Carr and Ryan lead them to some improbable wins. I’m all for giving the MVP to one of them in that case. But you know damn well that both of those teams will have a couple fuck ups and they’ll throw a bad interception or two to cost their teams a couple games. Brady won’t. He will dominate, and be perfect, and his 15-1 Patriots will win the Super Bowl.

We are so fucking blessed by God it’s not even funny or fair.
