Back in 2013 the Worcester City Council put in their best day’s work ever when they voted to enact a common sense ban on panhandling. Obviously Worcester has a serious problem with panhandlers. A couple months back an aggressive panhandler was hit by a car and died on Chandler Street. And then this winter when we had 50 million pounds of white shit dumped on us, it brought the bums into the streets themselves, which was fun. Especially when morons like this start knocking on your window demanding free shit:

Best law ever.

Well, at least it WAS a good law until the ACLU got wind of it. They decided that aggressive panhandling bans violated the first amendment. This is the same group that REFUSED to take up the cause of teachers, who are having their 4th amendment rights stripped from them by being forced to pay to be finger printed in order to prove they are not interstate child molesters. Their reason? Too busy.

Oh I see. Chris Robarge was too busy suing the city of Worcester on the behalf of drug addicts and aggressive panhandlers, so he didn’t have enough time to stand up for teachers. Because..fuck teachers.

And of course Tracy Novick jumped in the lawsuit too, because she’s Tracy Novick and being an asshole is generally what she does best.

Well, this law was repealed by a court, then that repeal was repealed, and finally today the law had it’s day in federal court. The highest court in our land has ruled on the side of Tracy Novick and the ACLU. Panhandlers win. This excerpt says it all really:

SourceMs. Novick said if the city’s ordinances remain they will affect her campaign and others for the November elections. She said she’s campaigned on sidewalks in the past and doesn’t want that to stop, but she stressed that’s not the reason she’s pursuing this case.

“I really believe that the rules are supposed to apply the same to everybody,” Ms. Novick said. “It shouldn’t matter if it’s me asking for someone’s vote or someone asking for money for food.”

The School Committee member added that Newton Square is a Worcester “campaign hot spot” and said she’s seen people there holding political signs in recent weeks. She said she believes the city is targeting only panhandlers asking for money.

“Seeing that kind of discrimination happening on an ongoing basis is something that concerns me,” she said.

Yea, no shit they’re targetting panhandlers. Because Gary Rosen isn’t a Goddamn eyesore. Gary Rosen, who magically has the power to be holding his bright red sign everywhere in Worcester 24 hours a day,

GaryRosen-WorcIsMAJOR-2 CAM00147 13720134-mmmain

doesn’t stunt economic development. When you get off the highway and see Gary Rosen with a sign, it doesn’t make potential investors think, “I don’t wanna do business here.” I mean, the man may have a perfectly circular face that looks like it could’ve been drawn by a second grader, but at least he doesn’t scare the shit out of you.

And yea, when some dickweed knocks on your window when he could be looking for a job, I have ZERO problem with that sort of discrimination. But apparently this “concerns” Tracy Novick, because all of a sudden she is the voice of Worcester’s malcontents. Because I’m sure she would LOVE to have one of these jagoffs over for dinner in her tax-free home in West Tatnuck.

Chris Robarge, the ACLU’s Central Massachusetts field coordinator, said his group continues to believe the law will take away a fundamental part of expression in Worcester.

“One of the most traditional, sacred and important areas for freedom of expression has been the streets and the sidewalks,” he said. “I think it’s important that people are able to exercise free speech in those areas, particularly on sidewalks and medians.”

Yea, one of the most important areas for freedom of expression is the right for vagrants to hop in and out of traffic asking for quarters. That’s what the founding fathers had in mind. Right.

The bottom line is the City Council needs to make the next logical move here – make it illegal to give money to these people. Because honestly, you can’t blame the bums. They’re just going where the money is the easiest. But you can blame the morons who finance these poor people’s habits and cause me to miss the green light every single time I get off at exit 12.

Damn, now those annoying tag day people will be back in full force. They are far more annoying than panhandlers. Hold a car wash, Losers!

Panhandlers would not panhandle if moron motorists simply stopped giving handouts.

Don’t feed the animals, people, and they won’t beg for handouts. Problem solved.

I just smile and tell them they can thank Turtleboy and the Turtlebots for my generosity every time I hand them a dollar.

Can I stand in front of her house with a giant ass sign begging for cutilingus? Does that violate any laws?

None whatsoever. It would just confirm you to be the moron you obviously are. BTW, if you were actually a woman you’d know how to spell “cunnilingus”. Clearly, like many men, you know nothing about it at all.

It is too bad that some people do not know about cathrontosis. It truly is a beautiful movement for the ankle and knee regions.

I believe that’s the first time I have ever had to spell it. It’s funny you called me out on it, because when I googled the spelling-the way I spelled it kept coming up. Settle down, and just resort to name calling cause NOTHING screams I’m ” A REAL WOMAN” like name calling.

Jill, she’s just mad because she can’t find a real man who can find her g-spot.

Perhaps. Not quite sure I agree with the “like many men” part of that comment either. I thought you guys were given a map with explicit instructions in Health class?

Jill, LOL…I’m not a guy, so I can’t say for sure what handouts are given in health class. LMAO!!!

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve done some of my best work in the medians of route 9 during high traffics times of the day.

Yep. I did that one day and I actually pinched a loaf right on the median strip at noon time in an attempt to welcome easterly bound travelers to Worcester via Rt. 9. I felt very proud. And now I am legal to do that.

Great. Now we can be the eyesore that a lot people claim us to be. Fucking great for our image. Thanks a lot. Oh ya, businesses of all sizes will come flocking to Worcester.

When will extreme liberalism gets it’s ass kicked by common sense?
