The other day we shared this blog about how Seven Hills Charter School is training their students to be victims by forcing them to pose with handwritten signs that state “microaggressions” that hurt their feelings. For those of you unfamiliar with microaggressions, it is a PC buzzword that social justice warriors use to describe harmless statements and questions that people choose to take offense to:

13103284_10150726525394956_5390249945258342016_n

Superintendent Krista Piazza set this whole thing up because she is a PC diehard who uses the children in her school as props to promote her political agenda. She’s basically teaching these kids to find offense in everything, dwell on it, become sad, and hold a sign about it:

13100812_10150726525714956_6127268557591608699_n

13062489_10150726525564956_1192198774828525041_n

13103289_10150726525684956_4933721781805056066_n

It’s sad that they’re using kids like this. But what’s even more sad is that we discovered that the school actually wrote these signs for them, handpicked students who would make the most sense holding them, and forced them to look sad in photographs which they then shared on social media. None of these things actually happened. No one asked that white kid if he was rich. No one asked the big black kid if his Dad was in jail. We know this because we found this 2013 Buzzfeed article about 21 microaggressions people hear on a daily basis. You tell me if any of these look familiar:

enhanced-buzz-11428-1386286032-14

Hmmmm, where have I seen that before? Oh yea, Seven Hills Charter School:

13124544_10150726525459956_8736843178651574661_n

Or this one:

enhanced-buzz-18749-1386285549-15

And gee whiz, isn’t this a coincidence:

13133155_10150726525454956_8191912599145175134_n

What are the odds? See this one really is sad, because Krista Piazza made it a point to find the one girl in school who she thought would make the most sense for this sign. She literally scouted all her students and picked the student whom she deemed was the darkest. That might be the most racist thing we’ve ever seen, and as usual it was done by a white woman who is obsessed with race.

Screen Shot 2016-01-29 at 5.10.28 PM

Here’s another one:

enhanced-buzz-19547-1386285239-27

So what does your hair look like today? That’s a pretty specific microaggression, don’t you think? Well guess what? This same exact microaggression happened to this girl at Seven Hills Charter School:

13096354_10150726525384956_856683353723931767_n

What are the odds???

How bout this microaggression?

enhanced-buzz-19395-1386285370-28

I guess they decided that this kid made the most sense for holding the “No, where are you really from” sign:

13091998_10150726525529956_6917976402212151083_n

They even capitalized REALLY, and put a “No,” at the beginning of the microaggression. Krista Piazza is gonna be so mad when she finds out that we know what Buzzfeed is.

Screen Shot 2016-01-29 at 5.10.44 PM

At least with the Buzzfeed article the people who are holding the signs probably wrote them themselves:

enhanced-buzz-19356-1386285215-20

But look at the handwriting on this copy and pasted sign that they made some poor black kid hold up:

13124468_10150726525464956_2520270892812128723_n

That is not the handwriting of a 7th grade boy. Go back and look at all the pictures. Obviously none of those are written by children. The sad part is that this kid would not know that “acting like a normal black person” was a thing until his white superintendent told him it was.

Sometimes they deviated a little bit for it to make more sense. For instance, this one:

enhanced-buzz-17905-1386285181-13

We don’t have many Mexicans in Worcester, so it’s hard to relate to this. But we do have Puerto Ricans though. So what did Krista Piazza do? She found some Puerto Rican girl, wrote a stereotype on her sign about her race, and told her to look sad as she put her picture on Facebook:

13138985_10150726525569956_8255146031102561605_n

Here’s one last one.

enhanced-buzz-1002-1386285201-29

You don’t speak Spanish? Because God forbid someone assume a Latina woman speaks Spanish. But the problem for Krista Piazza at Seven Hills was that she couldn’t find a Latino student who didn’t speak Spanish. So she wrote this sign for him instead:

13096220_10150726525534956_158209331780821406_n

She probably should’ve picked  abetter color scheme for the sign though.

Someone also pointed out that this whole thing was disgusting because it was obviously staged by a white woman, who forced children of color to stereotype themselves in a plagiarized manner. They responded:

Screen Shot 2016-05-06 at 11.26.07 AM

So we called them out on this on their Facebook page last night by posting the Buzzfeed article. And wouldn’t ya know it? They’ve taken the pictures down!!! Another amazing coincidence!! Oops!! Looks like Krista Piazza got caught red handed again!!

The bottom line is that Seven Hills Charter School is a joke. It takes resources away from public schools so that a bunch of agenda-driven adults can use children as political props. It’s disgusting and the school should no longer exist. Remember this next time someone tells you about how great charter schools are. This is what charter schools really do.

Maybe if these made up “microagressions ” were not so often true we would not need these discussions. Maybe just maybe communities that feel slighted should work to prove the stereotype wrong. These stereotypes were earned for a reason.

Yeah, obviously these experiences couldn’t possibly be common enough to have happened to multiple people. Maybe the *idea* was taken from buzzfeed, but are you suggesting that people don’t actually experience these microaggressions in real life, that they don’t exist in our society on a large enough scale that more than one person has been affected by them? Their ubiquity is what makes them noteworthy!

Then YOU hold a sign. Don’t have a child hold one for you. THAT seems to be the point of the article.

I have asked this question before. As a so called “public school “, spending public dollars, why does one building need a “superintendent “? This is a ridiculous waste of public funds which our district schools desperately need. CLOSE THIS SHIT HOLE DOWN.

There’s 195 sovereign nations. Being 36 is still in the top 20%.

Also, there’s a large disparity in different rankings. US News has us fourth. An OECD study has us at 28. The most recent United Nations Human Development Index has us fifth. So, I’m going to guess that you pull your studies from the same place you pull everything else – from your ass.

Over $250.00 is a felony in MA.

Malicious destruction of property over $250 is punishable by:
•Up to ten years in the state prison
•A fine of the greater of $3,000 or three times the value of the damaged property
          •Up to 2 ½ years in jail

Are you sure about this claim Adam Jones?

I mean if this were true Turtleboy would not be taking on the McGovern’s crime family (as Jim Polito puts it) and ruffling the feathers on other dysfunctional forms of local, state and federal government as well as corrupt so called non-profits. That would be insane. It makes no sense. If he, or anybody else, was a convicted felon then what you ought to do is to lay low! And the Turtle is not doing that.

Wow! That’s some serious bat guano right there.

So she basically get to do whatever the hell she damn well pleases with no consequences whatsoever??? Does she have to answer to anyone or can she just continue to use children to her own selfish advantage?

I have two young kids, my son is in kindergarten at a Worcester public school, and when my daughter is at that age she will also be attending public school…I would never, ever, ever send my kids to a charter school…this article and others you’ve written just solidify my decision to never put them into a place like that.

It reminds me of when we sent my son to a preschool when he was younger. The director was horrible and there was nothing we could do about it because there was no one above her we could complain about her to (we found out she did end up getting canned years later – thank god for the parents who send their kids there). Charter schools are like that on steroids.

Any suggestions on what I do to demand an end to charter schools? I wouldn’t know where to begin.

      Dude

The public schools are waaaaay worse than charter schools. At least your kids have a fighting chance of getting an education in a charter vs WPS.

If you have the means, send your kids to parochial school or home school.

    • boooooshcs
      May 6, 2016 at 9:18 pm

      1. I think it is unfair to paint all schools in a category (charter, “traditional” public, private, home school, etc.) with the same brush. There are “good” and “bad” schools found in each of these categories.

There are a lot of qualities that make up a good school:
      appropriate, challenging curriculum
quality teachers and administrators, focused on teaching the subject matter (instead of implementing agendas)
      consistent, clear, fair discipline
      high expectations for students
high parental involvement (In the children’s lives, not necessarily in school fundraisers, etc.)

      2. “It reminds me of when we sent my son to a preschool when he was younger. The director was horrible and there was nothing we could do about it…” – Maybe you couldn’t change the environment at that preschool, but to say “there was nothing we could do about it” sounds questionable. Could you have found another preschool? Pulled him from preschool altogether?

Having choices is good. However, sometimes the best choice isn’t the easiest.

      • Jon
        May 7, 2016 at 2:11 am

Well the situation is a bit more complicated than that, I would’ve embellished further if I thought my comment was going to garner such a critique as yours.

My son remained in that preschool for the entire year. The teachers of that preschool had absolutely NOTHING to do with the negative experience we had there. That school used to be fantastic, I went there when I was a young lad – and the program promised to be as good as it was when we first enrolled him.

We sent him elsewhere for other two years before he started kindergarten.

My wife just went around to preschools again, for my daughter (and because of many more complaints), that director is fired and the new one is stellar: and of all the places she went, that’s the one we’re sending out little one to.

Also, these are all private preschools…there is not public preschool in our district of Worcester because they’re building a new school and that program has been terminated until the new building is finished…if they even bring back the preschool program at all there – it won’t matter for us, but will for others.

My mother is a preschool teacher now (in R.I.) but she taught grade school in two Worcester schools. There are certainly some issues, but telling me I’m an asshole for sending my kids to public school is pretty low down and dirty. Instead of bitching to me about it, why don’t you help clean this city up and stop being a bunch of condescending douche bags.

        Damn it!

I don’t think any one was calling you an a-hole…seriously – where are you getting that?
Looks as if someone was asking (rhetorically) why send your kid to a preschool that sucked (but apparently didn’t suck, and btw, let’s close all charter schools).

        May 7, 2016 at 7:35 am

“There are good and bad schools in all categories “. Except there are no decent public (or charter) schools in Worcester. None. Not safe for children to be in. Not even close.

Can’t disagree there, as Worcester in general is on a fast downward spiral.

Luckily a lot of local districts (in the towns) have school choice (take students from out of town by lottery). Just mentioning it in case any folk aren’t aware…

This whole endeavor sounds boarder line child abuse (51A). This type of political campaign should be illegal to involve children even if you do get written consent. Where is the common sense in all of this? I’m thinking of another even dirtier profession that involves kids but I just can not say the word. That is way more vile, evil and disgusting with guaranteed life long effects but so would this be. It’s the rape of innocence and juvenile independent thought negatively portraying race relations teaching them how to hate. And this is good for who?

This has nothing to do with it being a charter school and everything to do with the education industry’s (public & private) agendas. At least charter schools don’t have to deal with the unions working against the student’s interests.

        • boooooshcs
          May 6, 2016 at 9:21 pm

Not necessarily a union issue. Non-union schools can hide and move people as much as union schools.

Public schools would do this in a heartbeat as well. They paid for the diversity training , they made all teachers take ESL training, they fully subscribe to the school to prison pipeline and so called restorative justice. They are PC to a fatal fault. The entire American education system has been brought to its knees.

Here’s an idea for Krista Piazza – How about YOU hold a sign that says “I’m an out of touch moonbat who wants to experiment on your children to further my own freak agenda”?

This makes me sick. Actually, it made me sick before, but now to know that the school administration THEMSELVES labeled these children (literally and figuratively) is an outrage.

Imagine this, some student at Seven Hills Charter has a pretty well adjusted view of himself/herself; maybe the parents are really trying to raise “color blind” (gasp) children who are not versed in stereotypes. Then, along comes the social-experimentation crowd, who decides that one child is the poster child for being too “dark skinned,” another looks like an outsider (“Where are you really from?”), etc. These lousy excuses for educators then make these children hold these insulting signs and now, students now had ADULTS dump this feeling of something being wrong with them all over them.

I hope that this story gets out to the parents and if they are not moonbats themselves, they stand up against this.

I’m shocked that the YWCA’s fingerprints are all over this. Which really means Joyce McNickles fingerprints. This is all about the victimization mentality and always is.

I am totally clueless as to why it is bad to have a Hispanic girl play Dora the Explorer. Is this somehow racisss? Wikipedia writes that Dora is “an American girl of Indigenous Mexican heritage”. DUH! When they make a movie about someone that is a black person they use a black actor or actress and the same goes for if the movie is about a white person. If they made a movie about JFK it would be ridiculous if they had Will Smith play the part.

Can you imagine the fake outrage if a school put on a play about Dora and they didn’t use a Hispanic girl and instead used a blue eyed blonde girl? Racisss Bastards!
