Turtleboy has been accused of being anti-feminist multiple times. But I think Turtleboy will agree with everything I’m about to say. The NFL hates women.

Unless you have no form of social media or interaction with other people, then by now you have heard the punishment handed down to Tom Brady for allegedly having general knowledge of balls being deflated. Even though the ideal gas LAW supports the Patriots claims that atmosphere affected ball pressure. But I will stop here as to not turn into another Patriots fan presenting logical scientific evidence to ignorant minds who have already decided Brady is guilty.

Let’s assume that Brady was irrefutably guilty. That a tape leaked of him watching the locker room attendants letting the air out of the ball. For being accused of this crime Brady was suspended for 4 out of 16 games and fined $1 million. This is the punishment the NFL sees fit for someone breaking a rule in a football game. A lot of fans have been making the point that Ray Rice was caught on video beating his girlfriend and received a two game suspension for it. Half the time.

Here is where literally everyone who is not a Patriots fan points out that Tom Brady is being punished for something that is directly related to football whereas Ray Rice’s violation occurred on his own time and didn’t involve anything to do with the NFL. But here’s where I see the problem – is playing a football game more important to you than a woman being beaten by her boyfriend?

Josh McNary is currently on paid leave from the Colt’s for being accused of rape under the NFL’s new personal conduct policy. Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of rape multiple times. Nothing from the NFL. Rape is a sensitive issue, and it is widely known that many cases go unreported. Even when a rape victim does press charges the pressure of going through trial may prove to be too much and victims often drop the charges.

Actions speak louder than words and the NFL is saying that being accused of tampering with a championship game deserves a more severe punishment than being accused of rape. If there was ever a time for an entertainment organization to punish people for something they are accused of, shouldn’t it be something as heinous as rape or murder?

We all see you NFL, ignoring the fact that you are employing multiple rapists and abusers. The real issue for me is that people are acting like the integrity of the game is more important than sending the message that this type of behavior against women is WRONG.  Does anyone know of any other employer that wouldn’t fire an employee if there was a video on youtube of them beating their wife on their day off? Would you feel comfortable working side by side with someone who had been accused of rape multiple times? In general people don’t want to be around these monsters.

The NFL is in the news more than any other sports organization for players being accused of sexual assault. If they were all innocent do you really think this would keep happening? That they would keep getting falsely accused more than any other professional athletes? It’s time the Turtleboy community and anyone who thinks raping and beating women is wrong to take a stand.

Yes watching football is fun and yes it makes a lot of people a lot of money. But is it so important to you that you are just going to keep ignoring the fact that it doesn’t really care if it employs a bunch of rapists and women-beaters? I think there is only one way to make a difference. I think everyone should completely boycott the NFL for the 2015-2016 season. Don’t buy tickets to any games, don’t watch games, don’t buy any of their products. Send the message that as long as they keep dragging their feet on investigations and handing down insufficient punishment for crimes that matter, they don’t matter to you. Maybe if they lose billions of dollars they will finally start to see an accusation of sexual or any other form of assault is much, much more serious than a football game.

Roger Goodell does not have any legal background. Hence he has not a clue how to conduct an investigation. Remove Goodell and put in place a retired judge from the legal system. That would make a world of difference. I wouldn’t hurt the entire league because of poor decisions coming from the commissioners office. Get rid of Goodell and replace him with someone more competent. Goodell makes 35 mill a year. That’s insane!

part of me says why didnt Pats just go along w investigation and be done with it, fire the eqip guy and take a fine? Other part says why go along w a witch hunt that puts your face of the franchise in a bad light?

Why didnt Brady give up phone info? I could think of a billion personal reasons but the NFLPA told him not to. Cant really argue that.

Interviews w eqip guy denied by Pats? They interviewedthe guy 4 times. He lives 3+ hours away in NH. Hes got a full time job and a life. How many times does Wells expect to interview a guy who only works 8 Sundays a yr for the team? Murder suspects dont get interviewed 5 times. I bet Goodell didnt meet w Ray Rice 5 times. I bet AP didnt meet w cops 5 times before he went to court. Just another example of the circus this investigation was.

Another thing thats odd is Bill barely got mentioned nevermind ZERO penalty i.e. fine. Hes the HC. Hes supposed to be in full control of all aspects of the team. Sean Peyton had nothing to do w Bountygate yet he got 1 yr. Why didnt BB get any heat? Very dd.

I suppose that its completely unfounded but dont you find it strange that Goodell picks week 6 for Brady return? Pats have wk 5 bye. Game 6 is at INDY. The team that this started with? Just pure luck I guess? Goodell would never try and intentionally pick that week for ratings right? Something smells fishy…

People actng like players “taking care of” locker-room workers with gear and memorabilia is proof of payment or bribe is just people who dont kow the inner workings of any sports franchise. Its completely normal and customary everywhere. Even NASCAR team employees get hoods, race used tires and helmets. More bluster from the uninformed that is really clouding the discussion.

Turtleboy could take the stand you’re calling for right now by refusing to write another word about the NFL, the NE Patriots, or any other aspect of professional football. But he won’t, because there’s money in it. And there you have the root of this whole problem.
