Last week we published this blog about Sarah Jeong, the New York Times most recent hire as editor. She kept her job even after these blatantly racist tweets were discovered because according to the NYT it is OK to be racist if you are fighting back against racists…..

The double standards never stop. That’s why it’s so laughable that white male privilege is still floated around like it’s a real thing. There are two sets of standards at places like the NYT – one for white people, and another for members of “marginalized” groups. The only people who can ever be fired for being racist are white people, because according to SJWs only white people are capable of racism. These weren’t exactly light hearted attempts at humor either. She just comes out and says it – I like being cruel to old white men.

Candace Owens is well known conservative chick who happens to be black. This obviously makes her a pariah on the left, even though outspoken black women are what they claim they want. To show how hypocritical it is for the NYT to continue to employ this woman she simply took some of Sarah Jeong’s tweets and inserted different races for white to see what would happen:

She was suspended from Twitter. Something we know about all too well since we are now on our 4th Twitter account and 31st Facebook page in the last 9 months.

Because Twitter and Facebook are run the same way – by robots. This was indeed a “mistake” made by an algorithm or an outsourced worker in a foreign country who doesn’t understand basic nuances, but was hired anyway because woke Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey doesn’t feel like paying an American a living wage.

Obviously this just fuels the theory that social media is hostile to conservatives because they’re conservative. And who can argue with that? It’s almost always conservatives being shut down.

But here’s the thing – I still don’t think it’s politically motivated on the part of Twitter or Facebook. The problem is that these companies have allowed their users to to mass report anything they don’t like, triggering a robotic take down of posts that get flagged. It’s happened to us a million times over tweets and FB posts that aren’t even remotely offensive. And we’re not a political blog either.

The problem is that hardcore liberals and hardcore conservatives react differently to things they disagree with. Radical conservatives call you a libtard and yell “build a wall.” But they engage you because they like arguing with people. Radical liberals report you because they don’t believe in engagement with people they disagree with, and want your opinions censored or eliminated instead. Who do you think is reporting us for stuff like this?

Trump supporters? LOL. It’s not Twitter or Facebook making the decisions to censor, it’s online mobs of radical left wingers manipulating Facebook and Twitter’s decision to not hire real people to review reported content. That’s why conservatives get shut down by social media companies more than liberals.

Candace Owens did get her account back for one reason and one reason alone – she’s famous. And when you’re famous enough blue checkmarked famous people will come out to defend you, and it’s just a bad look for Twitter. It actually works out well for her – she gets some attention, some more followers, and she gets to throw her followers some right wing red meat. Because Twitter did exactly what she wanted them to do – prove that they have hypocritical double standards. But this happens every day to regular people who have no recourse against these Silicon Valley pinheads, so their speech is constantly shut down by these mobs of idiots.
