Two Parent Families Selling Herbalife Have No Problem Begging For Money On GoFundMe To Pay Their Bills Because Americans No Longer Feel Shame Or Humility

The fact that two parent families who are both capable of working feel no shame in begging for money on GoFundMe, is everything that is wrong with America.

Here’s our latest GoFundMe scam of the week from Millbury….

screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-44-04-pmscreen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-40-49-pm screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-40-58-pm

Oh for fuck’s sake. I can’t take anymore of these sob stories. What is wrong with our society when a two parent family feels the need to beg for money on GoFundMe in order to do what everyone else does on their own? I mean, as a man, how can you even have your name attached to this and not bow your head in shame? Back in the day when men were men we were taught to have something called “pride” in ourselves. Even during the Great Depression there were guys holding signs like this:

84b5f4b052f852bb581385d7011a4853

Not anymore though. If this guy was alive in 2016 he’d stay home, start a GoFundMe page, and watch the donations roll in. Instead of a GoFundMe, why not make a post about getting these people jobs that they allegedly can’t find? Wouldn’t that be more productive and helpful? Because this cash is gonna be gone shortly, and then what? Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

I mean, it says he does “carpentry and construction” but he can’t find work because it’s the winter. Ummmm…is this their first winter? How did he survive previous winters with this alleged lack of work? Does he not have a plan? Jesus H. Christ, how freaking hard is it to think about the future? I know a million people in landscaping. They all know that when the winter comes people aren’t gonna need their lawns mowed. So they plow. Problem solved. Apparently this Dad grew up in Tahiti and had no idea that seasonal changes affect work.

And if Dad is out of work, then why is he on Facebook looking for new workers?

screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-38-43-pm screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-39-07-pm screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-39-11-pm screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-39-22-pm

So let get this straight. This guy can’t find work, but he’s out looking for workers? Ummmm….why not just hire yourself dude? Might help.

Oh yea, and they moved in in October and the landlord is already trying to evict them? Yea, that sounds believable. Give me a break. Do you understand how hard it is for landlords to evict deadbeat tenants with kids? And if they’re $200 short on rent, then why the hell are they trying to raise $5,000?

screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-45-15-pm

And don’t give me this Mom is disabled bullshit either. We’re living in a state where the government is basically begging to throw money at you. If she’s been denied twice for SSD, then it’s probably for a really good reason. Ya know, because she CAN work. So when people donate to this cause, does that mean that the money is going to pay for her lawyer so she can continue to fight this losing battle for free entitlements?

Here’s an idea, instead of trying to get your friends in on the pyramid scheme known as “Herbalife,” spend that time getting a real job that actually pays real money and pays your real bills:

screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-42-30-pm

screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-43-37-pm

And maybe you should throw a resume or two up on Monster and look into updating your LinkedIn profile, because I don’t think anyone is looking to hire a professional “stay at home Mom.”

screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-32-08-pm

Not that there’s anything wrong with being a stay at home mom. It’s just that LinkedIn is supposed to be a place where you meet people to become involved in professional circles. That’s not how LinkedIn works.

The bottom line is there are a million different charities and organizations who help families like this during the holiday season. If they wanted help they could go there. But the problem is that when they do that then the money goes directly to Christmas presents. Not with a GoFundMe though. With a GoFundMe it goes directly into your bank account and then you can spend it on whatever you want. Like lawyers fees, and Herbalife.

I’m sure these people are lovely. But what the hell happened to self respect and dignity? I mean, these are able bodied adults. Making ends meet at Christmas isn’t easy for anyone. We’re all figuring out ways to make sure Santa comes, get our heating bills paid, and try not to crash our cars on Worcester’s infamously well-paved roads without being reduced to begging for it on the Internet.

P.S. Spare us the nonsense about shaming. The reason we’re at where we’re at right now is because we don’t shame enough. The fear of being publicly shamed is what keeps people honest.

We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.

Why would 7 and 9 year olds be reading turtleboy? How would they even read it?

If you wanted to help them, I get even a $1k GFM, help them get straight on rent and get the kids a nice holiday. But $5k? That’s ridiculous and an obvious hustle.

GFM was closed out after $1210. Asked for $5k to try to help them with future rent, cancelled car insurance, Xmas gifts, etc. Not a hustle at all. But think what you will.

    A. I am the person responsible for creating and posting the gofundme.com page for the Stockwell/Delorey family; I asked permission to create this page because they did not want to ask anyone for help, but obviously needed it. They did not create the page, all they have done is say thank you to me and everyone else who has graciously donated to them during their time of need. Yes, their “time of need” is not over.
    B. They are great people, who are not perfect.
    C. My biggest concern was for their 2 young boys, whom my kids go to school with; I wanted to make sure they had heat and a roof over their heads going into 2017. I was also concerned that the kids got to enjoy the same type of Christmas most of our own kids get to enjoy, regardless of what the Stockwell/Delorey’s problems are.
    D. I understand you criticize everything and everyone, so this post does not shock me. Most of the time, I agree with you. This time, I am disgusted by your hatred and your judgement about things you have no idea about.
    E. Before you post your incessant nonsense and disregard for others’ feelings, think about whom you are affecting. Children these days do go on the internet regularly and read posts. If my kids were to see this, it would be outstandingly embarrassing for the Stockwell kids. Now you’ve just embarrassed them anyway, as I’m sure their teachers and other parents in the Millbury area will undoubtedly see your hateful, sarcastic post.
    D. I will no longer follow any of your posts, nor will my husband who is a Federal Correctional Officer and has followed you for a long time. We are both very very unhappy with what you’ve said. I urge you to take it down from your site.
    E. Just to fill you in, after getting assistance from local organizations and the elementary school where the kids attend, the gifts that were “donated” to them by those organizations were a few toys and a sweat-suit each. Therefore, many of us parents, knowing how wonderful the kids are (even winning awards at school) went out and bought them more gifts, to ensure they had an amazing Christmas. Not sure what you do for philanthropy or humanitarianism, but maybe you should take more time out of your ranting and shaming, and spend a little more time helping others. Maybe your hatred will lessen a bit.
    F. If you are a perfect human being who has never been in a bad situation, which you may or may not have caused, bless you. I’d love to meet you, as I’ve never met a perfect creature before.
    G. Justin Stockwell does work, and he did not say he is not working. He works and does odd-jobs. Megan Delorey stays home with her kids and has tried to get on SSD to no avail, so far. For the record, our justice system turns 95-99% of people down 1-2x trying to thin the herd. They make it so that people who REALLY need SSD go through hoops and bounds to get approved, which means hiring a lawyer and going to court to prove why you are disabled. Many people just give up after waiting 1-2 years for the 2nd disapproval; unless someone helps you understand how the system works, you don’t realize you can hire a lawyer to help get you approved. The Disability System then hires their own “expert” who tries to prove what jobs you can and can’t do…meanwhile, you have to get written notices from any and all doctors who support your cause of disability. Our state is NOT, by any means, giving out SSD checks to anyone who wants them! You are sorely misinformed there. So, Megan’s next step is to hire a lawyer, which she did not feel would help before. And yes, she does deserve to be on SSD. You don’t know why and you don’t need to know why. It is, for the record, none of your business. Nor is it the general public’s business. Not everything is up for discusssion by you.
    H. Once again, I urge you to take down your hateful and judgemental post about this family. If for no other reason, please take it down to lessen the embarrassment for the two kids.

    Thank you.

PS, I’m really saddened by everyones’ assumptions about me, the gofundme page creator, and the family I have tried to help with generosity. I expect and I get nothing from helping others, only to know I helped make someone else’s day just a little brighter. Your site, your judgements, and your followers’ comments certainly paint the world as a hateful place though, Turtleboy. And anyone who has negatively commented, even going to the depths of re-posting your rants on the gofundme page I created, really doesn’t have a good heart. I’m sorry, before you speak or type in this case, think about what you’re doing and whom you’re hurting.

It’s funny that I saw the poor father the other day in a local Millbury establishment paying for his items with MULTIPLE $100 dollar bills. It must be rough to only have $100 dollar bills at your disposal. Your a fool MMC.

Call me a fool. I don’t care, hater. There will always be others trying to hold down the good ones. I’m used to it. Somebody has $100 bills, woohoo! Good for them. Hmm, maybe they got paid that day? Whatevs. You can spend your time hating, the world must be a sad place for you. Peace, I’m out.

          MMC’s Logic

          You don’t agree with me=Hater

You ask for money for the family because of the mother needing to be on disability and then tell everyone it’s none of our business what the disability is, we should just trust you, hahahaha ok crazy lady.

I would agree with you if the dude has a stack of $100’s then good for him however I don’t think that someone with that much cash on them should be requesting $1,000’s of dollars. I know its weird it’s just a pet peeve of mine.

The only thing I’m sad about it that you are such a moron. I’m sad that you took part in defrauding the town of Millbury.

You can keep calling it hatred, but I guarantee that nobody commenting feels anything of consequence toward these fine, upstanding folks.

Just because you don’t like somethong, doesn’t make it hatred.

Also, do your husband a favor and let him borrow his balls every now and then. Since you’re not allowing him to read Turtleboy, it’s pretty clear who the man is in this relationship.

Sorry sweetie, asking nicely doesn’t work on the turtle. If you really want him to take it down, just funnel 50% of the profits from the GoFundMe page into his account to become a “silent sponsor.” That’s what the owner of Zorbas Taverna did to turn her dooshnozzlery into a simple mistake.

      January 20, 2017 at 2:27 pm

The only thing I have to say about your post is this: the government does NOT deny 95-99% of disability cases 1-2 times to “thin the herd”. And it most certainly doesn’t take 1-2 years for a denial, or 2nd denial, as you put it. You certainly do NOT need a lawyer to get disability if you are TRULY disabled; in fact, many people have true disabilities and hire lawyers who DO NOTHING but get paid – their case is going to be approved if they are disabled, denied if they’re not, whether they have lawyers or represent themselves. No lawyer will get someone who is not disabled an allowance. They don’t hire their “own expert” to say what jobs one can or cannot do. Everything you wrote in reference to SSI/SSDI is incorrect. You should not be advocating for people if you DO NOT know what you’re talking about.

First off, the whole HerbaLife crap is nothing but a scam. I wonder how much money these morons have pumped into this pyramid scheme ? Secondly, I see she posted about POTS. You know what that is ? Fainting and fast heartbeat when standing up too fast. I have it. Its not a disability. You take meds, get extra salt in your diet, and keep on on your fluids. I have a desk job, and my coworkers and boss don’t even know about my POTS. No wonder shes been denied twice. They’ll just keep denying her claim.

All diet fads are scams and frauds perpetrated on fools with the goal of separating them from their money. Eating foods with more protein, less sugar, more vitamins, less fat – all bullshit.

Eat less, exercise more. Only thing that works. First Law of Thermodynamics. If you consistently ingest more Calories than you get rid of your body stores it as fat. If you burn more Calories than you ingest your body burns fat, makes muscle. But what is healthy for you may not be healthy for others. Live life your way.

There is plenty of work out there for this Mom, she should get off her ass and look for it. Like Herbalife there is no shortcut to hard work.
