WBZ interviewed a since-released prisoner who was on hand for the Shirley prison riot last month. And it’s the basically one-sided horse shit designed to make corrections officers look bad that we’ve ever seen:

For the first time, we are hearing a first-hand account of what sparked that massive prison riot at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Facility in Shirley last month. An inmate, who wants us to call him Anthony, told the story only to WBZ-TV’s Chief Investigative Reporter Cheryl Fiandaca. He says it all started as a small dispute between the corrections officers and the inmates. “It came down to showers. Showers, simple as that,” he said. That dispute quickly escalated to the point where the officers had to leave the facility. For three hours, dozens of inmates went on a rampage and took control of the prison.

Anthony, who was due to be released in a matter of days, stayed in his cell and watched the unrest unfold. “I had a really good vantage point,” he said. “I got a whole view of it; my food slot was open at the time. I sat there on my knees, watching.” The 28-year-old was coming to the end of nine years in prison for armed robberies. He claims it all started earlier in the day when two men from different cell blocks got into a fist fight as they passed each other going in and out of the exercise yard. When the yard time was over, officers decided to lock the men in without allowing them to take showers. “Everyone got riled up and it hits a natural boiling point,” Anthony said.

According to Anthony, that boiling point led to a standoff with inmates refusing to be locked into their cells and widespread rioting, something he says could have been avoided if corrections officers had simply let the men shower. “You are getting a 15 minute shower and everyone would have been peaceful and happy and it would have just been another day in prison,” he said. Anthony says inmates were not fighting each other and didn’t arm themselves for war, calling it civil disobedience. “People were reacting out of passion,” he said.

Yea, this is what “real journalism” looks like. Interviewing the degenerate who just did a nine year stint for armed robbery and giving him a stage to whine about how CO’s were mean to him. The only surprising part about this story is the fact that his winner of a girlfriend stayed with him for nine years and his cat is still alive. I mean, the dude went to prison when he was 19. What kind of chick stays with her 19 year old boyfriend knowing that her only form of pleasure for the next nine years is her jigglestick?

Two prisoners got into a fight. There was obviously some sort of security protocol that CO’s are familiar with that most of us are not when situations like this happen. They followed it, and the poor convicted felons had to spend the night with sweaty grundles. Apparently this was grounds for “civil disobedience” which included destroying state property and making shivs.

Oh, and I’m so, so sorry that guards took away privileges in the days after these animals rioted. I guess they should’ve just gone right back to the way things were and pretend like none of this happened.

And why do these asswipes have TV’s in their rooms? I don’t even have a TV in my bedroom.

Anyway, I like how this guy doesn’t use his real name, but shows his face on a major television network. Like no one out there won’t figure out who you are? Any turtle riders know this winner?

Were you a guard there? Since this guy gets to be anonymous then so do you. Message us and tell us what really happened. Use a burner email or make a burner Facebook page. Send us a message on Facebook or email us at turtleboysports@gmail.com

We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.

Prisons are ridiculously strict like that. For someone like myself who likes to sleep everyday till around noon and only bathe twice a month I found the CO’s very strict personal hygiene in the morning routine very annoying and without a doubt a civil rights violation.

Sure daily showers at only certain times are great for those who like that sort of thing but for inmates like me and Gomez the only showers we are interested in are golden ones.

So…what he’s saying is the riot happened because the guys weren’t allowed to take a hot prison shower together? You know…get all lathered up and loofah each other.

When I heard Aaron Hernandez was there I thought about stalking another frightened family just so I could get locked up with Aaron and get an autograph. I have to admit I’ve always had a crush on him and maybe with both of us being ex athletes we could have had an inmate love affair!

OMG, poor guy! It must be horrific not to be able to wash out your cellmate’s jizm from your asshole. Imagine having to sit with that another full day! Hear, hear for the boys that fight out of “passion”. Sounds like a lovely place if you enjoy balls across the nose. Oh, these poor fellas!

WBZ should be embarrassed. Whores looking for rating, while disrespecting law enforcement and taxpayer (that will pay for the cleanup). Done with them.

9 years? in this state? With our judges? He probably didn’t make a campaign donation to the right person.

We need to build a skyscraper on Alcatraz and start housing violent fuckers like these there again.

Fill it, and the first time they riot, eradicate and fill it with another batch. Eventually they’ll get the message. One of the biggest problems we have with violent criminals in this country is that there is no longer substantial consequences for the actions. They can’t be shamed, coddled or reformed, because they don’t give a fuck.
There’s plenty of people that work hard for little money and live perfectly normal lives in this country that manage to not commit violent crimes to get ahead, or get over. It’s well past time those that can’t seem to do that to exit, permanently if need be.

I’m currently working on a piece of legislation called SPFGAT (Separate Prisons For Gays and Transgenders).

This country has separate prisons for men and women but refuse to build prisons for the LBQTG community. It’s a violation of civil rights!

Stfu. Prisoners shouldn’t have more rights than their victims.. Plus how big is the LQBT criminal community.. Not to mention everyone’s gay in jail

This guy knows his shit. The CO’s treat you like you’re some kind of criminal there. Sure you get 3 squares and TV but the food isn’t all that great except Friday when it’s pizza day and the cable is all BASIC with only like 67 channels and they make you choose between Showtime or HBO.

Sure they have the clubhouse with ping pong, billiards and some shitty pacman machines and a concession machines that sell cigs, chips, and soda but if you want Cheeze Doodles you have to make a special order.

They call it an exercise yard that has weights, basketball and volleyball and that’s great if you’re into that sort of thing but they don’t even have a putt putt course.
Bottom line is it’s almost as bad as a Holiday Inn!

It was gang related BULLSHIT. If there is a fight, especially a gang related one, the block is locked down. This asshole having been there 9 years for being a fine upstanding citizen fucking knows that. Hey genius, do what you’re told and all is well! The media is always looking to forward this state’s causes as much as possible. Law enforcement bad. Bad guys misunderstood..?
