So Worcester State University sent out this email to all students today who are still struggling with an election that occurred six days ago:

screen-shot-2016-11-14-at-1-29-52-pm

Julie A. Kazarian

Dean of Students/Chief Student Affairs Officer

Worcester State University 486 Chandler Street Worcester, MA 01602

P: 508 929-8650

F: 508 929-8011

Someone pointed this out to me earlier – saying that you’re “scared” of or “fear” something, is the new way that you’re offended. Because we stopped paying attention to people who were constantly offended. But scared? And fear? Those are serious words. And they say it enough then people will start giving into them.

Newsflash – no one at Worcester State fears the results of a fair and democratic election. Not one person. And even if they did, this would be a completely irrational fear. Not one that should be catered to with juice and cookies with Lauire Murphy and Sarah Volois in the counseling center. Because WSU students are adults, and they’re living in a democracy. And sometimes in a democracy your candidate loses. Although Counselor Sarah’s background as a cheerleading coach, and social work major at BC and Clark should come in handy for 21 year olds who are still crying and pretending to be in fear for their life:

screen-shot-2016-11-14-at-1-31-05-pm

She studied sociology……..AND GOVERNMENT!!! Ya got that? Someone who studied government is counseling students who are triggered by democracy. And guess who pays their salary? We do, of course. Because they’re state workers. And this is what the State of Massachusetts believes is vital for a college education – counselors who can help snowflakes navigate through a life experience in which they didn’t get their way. Gee, I wonder why the cost of college is so high. It’s not like there is any fat to trim anywhere!!

Here’s what you can do to help restore sanity. First of all, call the crisis hotline and let them know how triggered you are that someone like Hillary Clinton can come that close to being elected POTUS – 508-929-8072. Set up a time for grieving with them, but make sure you demand ample amounts of oatmeal cookies and some sort of puppy dog you can pet while sitting in a beanbag chair and listening to Katy Perry.

Then you can call and email Julie Kazarian, the Dean of Students and Chief Student Affairs Officer, to let her know what you think of her safe space – 508 929-8650.

Time to start letting these people know how much of a joke they really are.

    I’m glad it’s not a real teacher’s college anymore..

The term Counselor, once implied useful advice like, “get your hungover ass out of bed, and get to class, or you are G-O-N-E next semester” or “maybe you should look at changing your major” or “our school isn’t ready for your vision and ideas, good luck in your endeavors”

Uneducated you say? Where the fuck did you get your useless Liberal Arts degree with a concentration on Hospitality and Tourism? Walmart? You think those with a moderate to conservative ideological point of you are not educated? Really.

Having said that – who seems to be the uneducated one now?

Call the Alumni Office and the presidents office and tell them that. Seriously, they need to see that nonsense like what this dean is pouring out will have tangible consequences to them.

Today at Worcester Polytechnic Institute they are hosting a “Community Discussion about the election” in the Alden Memorial Hall open to the community…. Last week they gave free hugs and a safe place to cry. Ridiculous what’s going on in this country. Imagine our grand fathers at age 18 where sent to march on the D-Day on the beaches of Normandy being killed for our freedoms… they must be in disgust watching down at these pampered 18 year olds now. Very sad.

This is why college is so expensive. Counselors. Diversity Officers. Puppy dogs, popsicles, snowflakes, and buttercups.

Reason #1069 why I voted for Trump.

I’ve had concerns and fears for years, that my hard earned tax dollars, have been going to support losers! And guess what, I didn’t go to a support group to talk about my feelings, I went to WORK! Watching them get their nails done, buying their baby daddy jordans, eating out at restaurants, without a care in the world! The only fear anyone has about Trump, is that they might not get to be as lazy as they have been for the past 8 years. I’d love to see what sad individuals show up for this event. The same lowlifes that protested on Saturday, with the worst signs I’ve ever seen in my life. You care so much about your cause, but rip a cardboard box from the trash, scribble some nonsense on it and go. Anyone that shows up to this meeting should be kicked out of school, and their spot can be given to someone who would appreciate getting an education, not a therapy session. Spoiler alert: you can cry, protest, have grief sessions, whine, and click your heels 3 times…Trump is our new president! #hesmypresident #hesyourstoo #ifyouworkhardyouwillbetootiredtoprotest

When i went to Worcester State I couldn’t find anyone to talk to about anything…they didn’t have counselors available after 9/11…they just sent us home and the next day basically business as usual.

Life gets more interesting day by day…I am amused, and saddened,as well.. we all knew , sooner or later ,all of the children of the helicopter parents, the parents that gave their spoilt kids safe spaces, shielded them from society, and wanted them to know everything is always going to be lollipops and rainbows!
The parents who made sure everyone got a trophy or medal, for second to last place..
Now these spoilt children have come out and are showing their unhappiness and distain ,at this, their biggest loss of all!
What makes me happy at seeing this, they can’t do a damn thing about it!!
Sure they can excersize their first Amendment rights stamp their widdle feeties, cry, holler, but riot?
Well we knew sooner or later they’d make themselves known, that, they didn’t get their way, and damn, they haven’t gotten their pat on the head,or their ice cream cone!
Maybe ,we should be setting up ice cream trucks everyweek, all over the usa … here’s your ice cream and your widdle pat on the head..
Now go back to studying social studies, sociology, woman’s studies, gay studies, and other important subjects that are preparing you for a life of earning your own living, having a real paycheck and getting you out of mommy’s basement!

This is not the Worcester State I went to. #not my WSC.

I forgot, it’s a university now, when I was there it was a college.
If I ever went to a counselor at WSC to say I was in “fear” about the president elect they would have told me to go to Suneys and drink your fear away. Pitchers of Busch Lite were $4.25 back then. Oh the good ‘ol days. Thank God I went to college a long time ago.

So now Worcester State University has jumped on the puppies and ice cream train for the poor, petrified, butthurt liberal students who need solace because they think the boogey man is taking over.
These are the supposed future leaders of this country. If the results of an election has this effect on them mentally, what effect will a national crisis similar to 9-11 or worse have on their frail little psyches? These are the ones I label mentally unfit to serve in office, not Trump
