WPS Paying For And Encouraging Teachers To Go To Mosaic Leader Keesha LaTulippe’s Diversity Training Seminar

The Worcester Public Schools sent out a district wide email to teachers, urging them to go to Keesha LaTulippe’s diversity training seminar, despite the fact that she is on the Mosaic payroll.

Yesterday a flyer was sent out by Kerri Sundeen, the head of the Worcester Public Schools Office of Professional Learning, to all WPS employees. Because how can the schools function without paying a person a six figure salary to send spam emails to teachers all day about professional development courses? Notice who is putting on this particular PD seminar on “How race and class differences affect learning outcomes” at the bottom of the flyer:

Oh good, Keesha LaTulippe is selling ANOTHER diversity training seminar to the WPS. Yup, a woman who has NEVER taught a single day in a public school, and who DOES NOT live in Worcester, is making money teaching veteran teachers in an urban environment how to teach in an urban environment. This time she’s teaching teachers how, 1) their own stereotypes impact student performance, 2) how to build partnerships with diverse parents, and 3) how to handle the “N” word in class. Let me save every teacher who is considering going to this the hassle and answer all three of those for ya:

  1. Stereotypes don’t impact student performance because good teachers are color blind and evaluate student performance based on how they perform in class.
  2. You build “partnerships” with diverse parents by having “know your school nights” and making yourself easily reachable by phone or email. If they don’t care enough about their kids education to get in touch with you if they have a question or concern, then fuck em. That’s on them.
  3. You don’t “handle” the N word in class. No one is allowed to say this word in class. Ever. If they do then they go to the office and get written up. If they do it again they get suspended. Because the N word is a racial slur and the WPS have no tolerance whatsoever for racial slurs.

Boom. Turtleboy diversity training PD. Come by the Turtleboy statue and I’ll sign your PDP’s for ya.

Notice at the bottom it says that there is no cost for WPS, and they get a $100 course credit for this. AKA the Worcester Public Schools are paying Keesha LaTulippe and her company Red Tab Consulting, $100 for every teacher that attends. Therefore the more teachers, the more money in Keesha’s pocket.

Do you see what just happened there? The WPS not only are paying Keesha to indoctrinate teachers on her insane, all white people are racist agenda. They are also pimping her out by sending the flyer in a district wide email.

This is what the Worcester Public Schools under Melinda Boone values. Never mind the fact that the South High School football literally had to beg for money with a GoFundMe this summer in order to pay for basic equipment and uniforms that real school districts provide to their children. Never mind the fact that we have 34 kids in some classrooms, no AC on 100 degree days, and the solution to a leaky ceiling in most schools is a strategically placed bucket. That stuff can’t be paid for because the WPS are paying Keesha LaTulippe tens of thousands of dollars to teach teachers how to “handle” the N word in class, despite the fact that she has never taught a day in her life.

That makes TONS of sense, doesn’t it?

Just a reminder about who we are paying here. Keesha LaTulippe is on the payroll for Mosaic Cultural Complex – the group of protesters who lied about being in a non-profit to get city funding. A group of protesters who are widely supported by Sarai Rivera and Joe Petty. In July we filed a Freedom of Information Act request about a check for $17,496 that the city wrote to Mosaic. This is what came back:

As you can see they applied for $46,137 worth of reimbursements, but because Mosaic is a fake non-profit with no records, they could only get $17,496. And $15,000 of that went to Red Tab Consulting, Keesha LaTulippe’s diversity training company:

You also may recall that after the 4th Vice Principal at North High was assaulted last year, Keesha LaTulippe, along with Brenda Jenkins and Joyce McNickles, made another fake group called “Coming Together Collective.” They held a press conference in which Keesha stood on the far right hand side in her Mosaic pant suit:

For whatever reason this group got a closed door meeting with Lisa Dyer, Melinda Boone, and Joe Petty, in which they dictated that they would not allow WPD to have a presence in North High School:

Do you see what they did there? They told Joe Petty and Melinda Boone that there would be no police in North High School that year. Instead they told them that the school should reallocate it’s resources and fund “professional development resources to support district wide inclusion training.”

Don’t you see what happened? They convinced Joe Petty and Boone to keep the police out of North High School because they wanted the money to go to Red Tab Consulting instead. Police in North High School was bad for business because they assumed it would mean no diversity inclusion training.

So even though cops in North High were obviously what was best for student and teacher safety, this was ignored by Joe Petty because he was already bought and paid for by Keesha LaTulippe. Don’t believe me? Well here’s some more proof. Back in March when this meeting was held, the City of Worcester cut Keesha LaTulippe a check for $5,200:

Two months later they cut her a check for $2,800:

Notice what the money is going towards – “staff development.” The City of Worcester is paying a woman from Southbridge, who makes well over $100,000 a year selling diversity trainings to schools, to come into our schools and teach experienced teachers how to “handle” when kids say the N word in class.

Look, this is what Keesha LaTulippe and people like her do. They fabricate racism in order to profit off of it. They create it out of thin air and then pretend to have the solution for it with a $100 per head inclusion training. And we keep paying for it.

She also accused the city of Worcester of institutional racism in 2013, when they shutdown the Henry Lee Willis Community Center, after it was discovered they owed millions of dollars and were a fraudulent and borderline criminal organization. Why? Oh I dunno, maybe because she was the Assistant to the Executive Director for Henry Lee Willis.

Look, we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – YOU HAVE THE POWER TO STOP THIS!!! But that means you need to get out and vote on November 3. Are you registered to vote? If not, it takes two seconds when you go to the city’s website. People like Keesha LaTulippe are getting paid all this money because Joe Petty and Ed Augustus are authorizing it. This is funding that could go to so many underfunded WPS maintenance needs or programs for children. But Joe Petty’s kids go to private school, so it doesn’t matter that the WPS are unsafe and underfunded, because it will never affect him.

Vote for the Turtleboy Ticket in November and this all changes:

  • City Council: Mike Gaffney (mayor too), Rob Sargent, Konnie Lukes.
  • School Committee: Nicola D’Andrea, Donna Colorio, Brian O’Connell, Diana Biancheria.
  • District 1: Cindy Nguyen
  • District 4: Jackie Kostas

Anyone who still owns property, including this poster and TBS deserve the facializing that is closing the books on Worcester under Petty’s reign of incompetence.

The majority of the country put a racist into the White House (ironic that he hasn’t used his executive tyrannical powers to rename THAT yet!) so live with it. Quit your whining. They’ve won. At least for now….

Ridiculous. It’s unfortunate that the vast majority of registered voters won’t bother to make it to the polls. I’ve moved out of Worcester. I’m very glad I did.

A Daniel Coonan used to teach (and might still) at North High in the Business department. I wonder if it’s the same person… used to be their football coach too. He would be a previous colleague for Lisa Dyer nee Smith.

“we will apply pedagogy, theory and practice to critical discussions” = completely repetitive and empty of any meaning… but uses a big word. Put it on a chart!!!!
