Yahoo From Yahoo Says Tom Brady Contributes To Domestic Violence By Not Commenting On It

So you know all this domestic violence stuff that’s going on in the NFL? Yea, none of that is apparently the fault of the players who did all the whooping. Nope, the biggest culprit in all of this is Tom Brady, at least according to some yahoo from Yahoo named Jay Busbee:

Let’s see what this genius had to say:

Brady, speaking in his weekly radio interview on WEEI, has made it clear that he has no interest in speaking out about the cases involving Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson or the NFL’s new domestic abuse policy.

“I try to stay in my lane. All of those things, none of it’s really my business or my control,” Brady said, according to the Providence Journal. “I’ve just been focusing on the games and what I can do better. The things that are taking place on other teams or league-wide decisions, those are a different pay grade than me.”

Oh, that’s fucking weird. A football player who wants to play football? Fucking bizarre. So what could anyone possibly see wrong with a clean cut NFL player who goes about his business in a professional manner, doesn’t beat his wife, and only wants to talk about football?

It’s disappointing, but it’s not an unexpected stance from a superstar. The nation’s fan base is broad; no sense offending any segment of it by taking a stand, right? In a fragmented, partisan climate, where even expressing an opinion can enrage a chunk of the fan base, keeping silent is a financially sound brand-protecting approach.

Ummm, please tell me who exactly he would be offending by speaking out against domestic violence? This is a partisan issue? I’ve seen more people disagree on Busgate than I have domestic violence. Beating the shit out of your wife is something level headed people disagree on? Right. Definitely. Because I remember lots of Presidential debates going like this:

Dooshnozzle Republican: My opponent is a draft dodging communist who doesn’t pay his taxes.

Dooshnozzle Democrat: Yea, but at least I don’t beat the shit out of my wife and kids.

Dooshnozzle Republican: That’s right. So what? My opponent doesn’t have what it take to beat the shit out of his wife in an elevator. We’ll have to agree to disagree on this particular issue.

Seriously, this idiot is suggesting that Brady somehow is “protecting his brand” by not condemning Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson. Because everyone knows if Brady came out and said that beating the bag out of the woman you love might not be a good idea, he’d lose all his endorsements immediately. Because it’s such a PARTISAN issue.

He ended with this gem:

But the NFL is in the midst of one of its greatest crises ever, and it’s one inflicted by both players and management. There are right and wrong stances to take here, and they’re not difficult to discern. Superstars like Brady have the voice and the reach to make a difference in the minds of otherwise disconnected fans. When the history of this ugly era is written, it’ll be to their shame if they stay on the sidelines throughout.

He’s right. It is in a crisis, and it has been inflicted by both players and owners. And Tom Brady is not one of those players. Hey here’s an idea. Maybe, just maybe, the best way that TB12 can be a leader is to do his fucking job every week and not beat the shit out of Giselle?

Dingleberry is right about this though – Tom Brady COULD totally roast AP, Ray Rice, and Greg Hardy by putting them on blast. And what exactly would that accomplish? The next time one of these animals loses control of his temper and is ready to cold clock his woman in the face, I’m sure they’ll stop at the last second and think to themselves, “No – Tom Brady says this is NOT cool.”

And not surprisingly Busbee normally does NASCAR and writes comic books. Because if he had actually been paying attention to football he would know that Tom Brady and every single player who has ever been on the Patriots (not named Adalius Thomas or Randy Moss) talks about one thing, and one thing alone – FOOTBALL. And even then they feed em shit and keep the press in the dark. Saying nothing and being mysterious is the Patriot way. You want soundbites? Go talk to the Ravens. None of them can ever seem to shut the fuck up.

Here’s my question – where’s the “Peyton Manning is contributing to domestic violence” article from Yahoo? Because according to every genius out there, Brady is done and Manning is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Manning is the guy with five million commercials. Where’s the article blasting him for speaking up for Papa John’s but not against domestic violence?

Pretty standard anti-Patriots, Manning loveliest from the sports journalism establishment. This is why we exist at Turtleboy Sports. Because someone has to point out the truth.

Feel free to share your thoughts to keep the conversation going.

    Wes liked his feet.

BTW, G would put Tom on the ground before he could think twice. We all know who wears the pants and which of them is the real bread winner. It’s cute how she lets Tom go play his games while she earns a living for them.

Why stop here? I never heard Brady publicly condemn ISIL, I never heard him speak out against Ebola, and I never heard him standing up for slaves digging diamonds in the DRC, nor war refugees in South Sudan. Tom Brady must just be a terrible person if he fails to comment on anything wrong with the world. Because… we all know… Tom Brady’s words have the power to heal all of the world’s problems.

Congolese Diamond Slave Driver 1: Should we shoot those slaves who stole diamonds today??

Congolese Diamond Slave Driver 2: Hmmm… I don’t know. I think it’s best that we wait and see what Tom Brady thinks.

Congolese Diamond Slave Driver 1: Good Point.

He never spoke out for Scottish Independence.

He’s obviously wants to see those poor people stay under the heel of British tyranny.

Listen Busbee, Brady doesn’t need to be your basic bitch.

The sports articles are an easier read. The writing stands out better. Some might even anticipate some competitive smack talk here and there. Haven’t been by the statue. According to:
