More hot takes from the Boston Globe:
That’s right, Hillary Clinton is all of a sudden a diehard Cubs fan.
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) November 3, 2016
Except when she’s a Yankees fan:
Has there ever been anyone faker than her? She’s worse than Drake with this shit. Gotta love the picture the Globe used too:
Like she was sitting in that chair all night watching every pitch. Like she actually gives a shit about the outcome of a baseball game. The woman is a pathological liar who will say and do anything to get elected. Sure, she’s originally from Chicago, but when she wanted to run for Senator in New York (because it was her turn to be a Senator and they had an opening that year) she was a Yankees fan. Because real sports fans do that.
Oh yea, and remember when Hillary had a southern accent? Well she needed it in 1992 because she was trying to present the image to the public that her family was some sort of backwoods, everyday Joe Blow Wal-Mart family from Arkansas. Just listen to her speak at the 3:15 mark of this video, and then the 9:38 mark:
“These women got hit by a me-te-OR.”
“I’m not some little woman sitting here by my man like Tammy Wynette.”
“And if that’s not enough for people, then HECK, don’t vote for him.”
No one from Chicago speaks like that. No one from Chicago has ever made a reference to Tammy Wynette. No one from Chicago ever utters the phrase, “then heck.” Never mind the fact that this is a video of her shaming a woman who her husband grabbed by the pussy several times by calling her a liar. The most offensive part of this video is that accent.
Anyway, the World Series was absolutely amazing. Brought baseball back from the dead. Game 7 was one of the greatest games I’ve ever seen in sports. Joe Maddon fucked up worse than any manager ever has in the most important spot. Pulling Kyle Hendricks in the fifth inning of a game in which he was cruising along (up 6-1) and replacing him with a tired Jon Lester was worse than Grady Little ought three. Then there was the fact that he pitched Aroldis Chapman in a blowout win in game 6. His arm was dead for game 7 and he ended up giving up a game tying home run to Rajai Davis – a guy who never hits home runs.
But they still did it. And it was awesome. I’m kind of glad the Red Sox sucked in the playoffs because rooting for the Cubs was fun. I’m not gonna pull a Hillary and pretend that I lost my mind when they did it. But I certainly enjoyed every minute of last night’s game and couldn’t be happier to see Theo Epstein become the most legendary GM in MLB history by ending not one, but two curses with two different teams. Honestly, I’d trust him being President of this country any day of the week over the two people we have to choose from this year.
