The other day we blogged about the Keely Mullen, the poor girl who decided to go on Neil Cavuto’s show on Fox News, and completely humiliate herself. It wasn’t pretty when he asked her how she planned on paying for free college tuition:

Well just like Jonathan Butler, the face of the Missouri protests, turned out to be a fraud, Keely Mullen couldn’t possibly been a more hilarious choice for this particular movement. For starters she is from Chicago and she goes to Northeastern – one of the most expensive schools in the country. So here we have this girl, who could very easily go to the University of Illinois and pay in state tuition, but instead chose to fly 1,000 miles to go to a school that costs $50,000 a year. And she wants the taxpayers to pay for this. Logically.
Well as it turns out, she comes from a LOT of money, but yet she’s still whining about the debt she purposely chose to accrue by going to Northeastern. According to her profile, she graduated from Francis Parker High School in Chicago – a school where annual tuition costs $34,560. Mullen’s father owns a home in a very swanky part of Chicago, which according to BlockShopper, cost her family $1,060,000.
Keely Mullen might seem like a nice girl, but she’s really just a HUGE liar and a fraud. Watch the Cavuto interview again and fast forward to the 5:00 mark:
“I come from an incredibly working class family, and my family is on numerous forms of government assistance, and is basically scraping by in order to get me through college.”
So let me get this straight. Keenly Mullen comes from a family that can afford to buy a $1 million house, she went to a boarding school that costs more per year than most colleges, she chose to go to one of the nation’s most expensive universities, and now she’s complaining about her impending debts because they’re unfair? Oh yea, and she wants us to believe that she comes from a working class family that has to scrape by to get her through college with a transgender studies degree. AND her family is on welfare!!! Yup, that about sums up every college protester we’ve heard from in the last two weeks.
Her Dad is a real winner too. Check out his Facebook page. Someone asked him the obvious question when he shared her story about free colleges – why the hell is she going to a school where she’s gonna have $150,000 in debts after graduation?

You know why college costs so much money? Because people like Steve Mullen have jobs that pay enough for them to buy million dollar homes in Chicago.
Some people are saying that Cavuto was mean to her. Stop, just stop. You’re part of the problem if that’s what you’re saying. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – either you’re “I am woman hear me roar,” or you’re a damsel in distress. You can’t be both. Keely Mullen started a national “movement” that seeks to take money out of people’s paychecks so that she can play social justice warrior at Northeastern for four or five years. When you do that you don’t get to say that someone who exposes her as a fraud is being “mean.” Keely wanted to play grown up world, and when you play grown up world you have to be able to defend yourself. Obviously Keely is not ready for grown up world, so she shouldn’t have gone on the show.
But unfortunately she’s got a trans-feminine Daddy who brainwashed her but never prepared her for the butcher shop she was about to enter. Blame Daddy, not Cavuto.

Turtle boy? Please contact me directly. I think you are a fraud. I think I know who you are. I do not believe you exist. Would be curious . Education is a fundamental human right. What does dad have to do with concept?
She will have $150K in student debt and end up with a degree in transgender studies? She got ripped off! Where on this earth is she going to get a job that pays enough to repay that loan? No wonder she wants student debt forgiven. Let rich daddy repay he loan. I knew she was full of poop when she started talking about how her family had to scrimp and save to put her through college.
Mullen is such a hypocrite.
Her schooling should easily be paid for by her father if he can afford to live in a $1M home – simply set aside the $40-50K per year to pay for his daughter and continue to justify her obvious few of entitlement. The only entitlement she deserves – since she appears to be healthy is the opportunity to work and then she can pay for her expenses after she turns over 90% of her earnings to colleges to support others she claims to represent/support.
The fact that she thinks that people are gladly going to pay 90% tax when they hit the $250K mark shows her lack of intelligence. She must have forgotten that when you pay 90%, you only keep 10%. And I know how the tax brackets work. You pay the appropriate tax percentage for each amount of income, not the highest percentage for all of your gross income. Some ppl don’t understand that. But the fact of the matter is, when you factor in time and how valuable it is to ppl, unless someone is addicted to their work, they are not going to work for 10 cents on the dollar; they’re going to use that time for leisure, family, travel, hobbies, etc.
Don’t get me wrong…I think there is a need for government assistance programs to those who truly need it. I am all for providing assistance to the needy and I donate a good amount to organizations that provide those services. But I do not support the lazy whatsoever. And the lazy are the ones that scream the loudest. We are raising a generation of lazy, entitled, and selfish Americans who think working hard is stupid, and working smart means you find out how to not do any work whatsoever. Not only are parents to blame, but social media plays a huge role. And people like Keely Mullen only fuel the fire of entitlement. It’s so easy to accept free health care, free education, free housing, free food, free everything…you know, to get you on your feet so you can become rich and prosperous, then pay 90% taxes to pay for everyone else’s free stuff. That’s not how capitalism works.
Had this chick been a little more honest and a little more prepared, she might have been taken seriously. But having no support to her statements in addition to making herself out to be a financially strapped college student from a working class family…she cleaned out her level of accountability before we even got the chance to stare at the screen and roll our eyes.
Keely, take note: You might want to learn to swim against the current, not with it. Because it is not flowing in the same direction you’re hoping to go. I work full time in corporate America as well as run my own Etsy shop and conduct business via social media. So I see both sides of the picture. Big time fancy schmancy office job as well as get my hands dirty and skip sleep 2-3 nights a week working my side business. And I support capitalism and free enterprise from both points of view.
So first when you decide to take your latest educationally aquired website design 101 and apply it to a movement, second gain a little presentation experience in freshman debate and third, do not care to decide between the eleventeen other reasons. Points are just better in threes. Hire someone who is a legitimate representative. all people are not created equal regardless what your daddy tells you. please! you embarrass people that care to make an actual movement in time.
