And if you live in the Massachusetts 8th congressional district she wants to be your congress- man -wo -person. Pretty terrific right?

For those of you unfamiliar with the district – here it is (8):

Wow – some of those towns are a handful. Let’s see what we can learn about Brianna and her qualifications.

Brianna was born John Walker Flynt and adopted by some wealthy parents who probably regret that decision every day. She went to the University of Mississippi, where she did not graduate. Although, there is a Boston Globe story (archived – no link available) where she’s portrayed as having graduated with a degree in investigative journalism. But, according to the school that is untrue.

Holy crap! She was enrolled for 10 years – do you know how hard is it to NOT graduate after 10 years? You really need to apply yourself to being a failure.

You can also see that this is the time she ‘transitioned’. I have no idea if she had bottom surgery – and even if she claims she did, she’s kind of a big fat liar so I wouldn’t believe it anyway. But, without the surgery aren’t you just a transvestite and not a transgendered woman? This whole transition is just a prop – a way to become a professional victim.

She hasn’t been tormented for years about feeling like she’s in the wrong body and finally coming to terms with it. She’s wearing a costume and playing a part in a play – and not just any part – she must be the star.

Next on the resume is as co-founder of Giant Spacekat, a video game developer whose only title is Revolution 60, for iOS only, and was released in 2014. So, one title in about 3 years – excellent – really just taking over the marketplace.

This is about the time she became internet famous – as a ‘victim’ in GamerGate. She received ‘death threats’ and had to go ‘on the run’. But as these pictures show she never left home.

Unbelievable.

Here are some other quick hits on the Wu resume:

• She was relieved of her moderator duties on a trans site she co-founded for abusing her position.
• She didn’t tell sex partners that she was transgendered.
• She attempted to raise fund via crowdfunding so she could hire someone to ‘deal with her attackers’ so she could concentrate on making games.
• She compared herself to Batman-

It’s seems after the whole GamerGate thing died down she needed to find another way to be the star again – so she’s running for congress.

She was recently on WBUR to talk about her decision to run. Here are some highlights:

Why is she entering politics?

“A lot of people don’t know this about me but actually I started in politics. My very first job out of college was interning for a local senator [Trent Lott (R-MS)] It was a long time ago. This is back in the [1990s]. I don’t vote that way anymore. But really it’s a return to my original passions. I kind of went out, worked in tech for a few years, but I just feel like I can’t sit out this what’s happening in our country right now.”
Wait – aren’t internships for kids in college? And by ‘out of college’ you mean never graduating after 10 years.

What are her accomplishments?

“I’m a reasonably accomplished journalist. I’ve worked as an investigative journalist, I’ve done crime beat stuff. To this day I write and speak all the time.
A reasonably accomplished journalist? I don’t think ranting on Twitter makes you a journalist. And you know what? I write and speak all the time too – doesn’t mean I’m qualified for political office.

Ok – so her background is a tad questionable, I’m sure she’s working hard to change the perception that she’s a loon.

Well, OK then

I must tell you that I go back and forth on whether she has a chance against Lynch. As a professional victim she’s garnered a lot of support and her on-going reports of continued harassment will add to that and may translate into donations – mostly from out of state.

She also has another thing going for her – she’s kind of a woman – and with that she can blame any and all criticism and questions about qualifications on misogyny.

Does any of that mean support and votes where it matters – the 8th District? Who knows, it’s a long way to the primary, but know one thing, the Wu is going nowhere and the need for attention means you’re going to be seeing a lot more of this everywhere.

Just a note- there is a shit ton of stuff out there about the Wu – this could have been a multi-part series – there are so many storylines that I picked just a couple to highlight what y’all are in for over the next year or so. Enjoy!
