26 Year Old State Rep Who Just Gave Himself A Raise Posts Racist, Sexist Things On Facebook, Sponsored Bill To Make Cops To Take Implicit Bias Class For Their Racism

One of the 116 State Reps who voted to raise their salaries by 46% is Dylan Fernandes from Falmouth. He is 26 years old, and was just elected for the first time, largely because he had big name supporters and endorsers like Elizabeth Warren and Maura Healey:

So basically he’s a well connected poopsmooch from the Cape whose Mommy hooked him up with her wealthy friends and donors and got him a job at the statehouse. First thing he does is give himself a 46% raise. Here’s how he justified it:

“If you pay public servants more you attract more qualified candidates, make them less susceptible to outside money, and they perform better.”

Wait….what? First of all, how does it attract more well qualified candidates? Well qualified candidates like who? Some 26 year old lucky sperm from Falmouth? Dylan Fernandes is the well qualified kind of person we want in the statehouse? He’s worth the taxpayer funded pay increase?

Secondly, if the current salaries are not good enough to attract “well qualified candidates” then what does that say about the current state legislators who just voted to give themselves a raise? Because it sounds like the current pay is only good enough to attract corrupt morons. Which means a bunch of corrupt morons just voted to give themselves a raise so they can eventually be replaced by non-corrupt, non-moronic human beings.

Thirdly, you should go into public service to serve the public, not to make lots of money.

Fourthly, this is the worst excuse I’ve ever heard. He’s saying that he deserves a raise so he’ll be less susceptible to outside money. You know what that means right? It means he can’t turn down bribes at his current salary. He needs the raise so he’ll be more well off and he won’t NEED bribe money from “outside” influences.

Anyway, this chud has been on the job for a couple weeks and he’s already filed a bunch of bills. One of them was a bill that will force every cop in the state to take “implicit bias training” because cops are born racist and need a class in order to learn about what these biases are:

Imagine that? Imagine some little, sheltered shitstain from the Cape having the nerve to tell hard working police officers who put their lives on the line every day that they have “implicit bias?” Yea, you earned that pay raise Dylan. Well qualified candidates only.

One of his constituents asked him why he didn’t have to take an implicit bias course. His response was pretty telling:

He can’t be biased because he went to college. Not like those dumb, uneducated racist cops who never took a Gender Studies class. They never learned about their implicit bias.

He boycotted the inauguration because he was busy fixing the environment:

He believes we need to empty our jails because prisons are slave factories:

Violent crime is down while prison populations have gone up? It’s almost as if locking up violent offenders helps decrease the crime rate. Must be racist.

Here’s the thing about Dylan – he’s written a lot of things on Facebook that would probably make Liz Warren and Maura Healey uncomfortable. Like his lack of respect for women:

And I don’t think a genuine Native American like Liz Warren would like this one:

Which is also kind of funny because he’s cosponsoring a bill to outlaw high schools like Tewksbury, Grafton, and Turners Falls from using Native American mascots:

And is it acceptable for State Reps to use words like “niglet”?

So a white kid from the cape freely uses racial slurs, but he wants to force cops to take classes about their implicit bias? Yup, that makes TONS of sense.
