Reminder to tune in this Tuesday and every Tuesday for Turtleboy Tuesdays on 100.1 FM the Pike. Here’s last week’s podcast if you missed it. Topics of discussion included Seven Hills Charter School plagiarizing a Buzzfeed article about microagressions and using 6th graders as props, canceling Daddy-Daughter dances because some kids don’t have Dads, and Bruce Jenner posing naked on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
So much more fuckery to talk about this Tuesday, so make sure you’re tuning in from 8-9 AM to 100.1 FM the Pike.
We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.

It is ok have these dances, and it is positive for kids to have a positive male role model. Some daughters are so willing to share their dads uncles, older brothers, cousins can step it up or even a neighbor. I state this as a widow who was both parents to my kid, and what I liked was good male role models that stepped up when I needed them too. And if a Mom chose to go with her kid to the dance, as long as the kid was cool with it, I would applaud them. My kid chose her uncles but had the choice. And her being in control of who she asked was very important to her.
