Here comes the latest SJW outrage (police report here) out of the dumpster fire that is Waterbury CT:

WATERBURY – A young man shot by police while driving a suspected stolen car admitted to hitting a police officer and passed on an apology to him while he was hospitalized, police reports say. The multiple pages of reports also say that a second officer who encountered the SUV the teen was driving minutes before the shooting also drew his sidearm after he had to get out of the way of the vehicle’s path as the teenager drove it through a construction site.

Officer James McMahon, a member of the police force for three years, shot Ra’Shamel Rogers, 18, of Angel Drive in Waterbury, during an encounter March 9 near the intersection of Wood and Orange streets about 4 p.m. The Lexus Rogers was driving was found to have been reported stolen from Greenwich earlier in the day. Police said two Waterbury officers had tried to stop the stolen Lexus but the driver fled, eventually turning the vehicle onto Wall Street where officer David Andrzejewski was directing traffic near an Eversource work site.

Andrzejewski reported that he ordered the SUV to stop, but the driver sped up and swerved at him. He drew his pistol and ordered the driver to stop as he moved out of the SUV’s path, the officer reported. Andrzejewski didn’t fire and the SUV sped past him until it was found about seven blocks away by Sgt. Robert Raad, who was in a police SUV. A witness said the Lexus appeared to be reversing when an officer, later identified as McMahon, who was on foot, tried to break its window to get the driver out of the vehicle. Shots were fired and McMahon, who was hobbled after the encounter, told other officers the SUV had hit him

An officer handcuffed Rogers, then cut away his sweatshirt to treat the bullet wounds to his chest with a trauma kit until paramedics arrived. A key for the Lexus was found in Rogers’ pocket, police said. While he was being treated at Saint Mary’s Hospital, police say Rogers told a detective: “Please tell the officer that I’m sorry I hit him.”

Rogers’ family has questioned why the officer opened fire on their son and why police couldn’t wait until he returned home to arrest him. Local activists also criticized city police for not wearing body cameras during arrests and suggested race played a part: Rogers is black, McMahon is white. Rogers’ father described police as willing to use force at the “drop of a dime” and his family said they were not allowed to see Rogers when he was hospitalized. Attorney Andrew J. Cates of Hartford represented Rogers in a limited capacity during his arraignment, but has not yet been retained by Rogers’ family, he said.

“I think that there’s more information that’s going to come out in this case that’s not currently available,” Cates said. “I think people are going to come forward. There’s a good chance that the justification of the shooting is going to be called into question.”

Police Chief Vernon L. Riddick Jr. asked for people to wait for the results of a state police investigation of the shooting and not speculate or inject unverified information into the situation. “Based on the information I have received, I have not reviewed anything that I found to be a violation, but I cannot come to a conclusion until I get the final report from the state police,” Riddick said.

The department does not allow people in custody to have visitors, Riddick said, although an exception was made for Rogers’ mother who traveled from Georgia to see him, he said. Riddick said he was troubled by comments made by Rogers’ father at a recent news conference, in which police were depicted as psychopaths, maniacs and brute beasts. He challenged that.

“The Waterbury Police Department has always been open, transparent and willing to police ourselves,” he said. “We are not embarrassed to show our sores and acknowledge shortcomings and the actions that we’ve taken to correct them.”

So let me get this straight. Asshole 18 year old steals a car from Greenwich. Cops see him in stolen car in Waterbury, attempt to pull him over, he flees in a dangerous high speed manner in a concentrated urban environment, hits a cop (which he later admits he did and apologizes for it), and then Mom and Dad feel like his civil rights are violated because the cop shot him?

Welcome to black lives matter 101. Where criminal behavior is encouraged and laws and logic don’t matter.

These people are old enough to have an 18 year old son? I’m sure they were both actively involved in his upbringing, which explains why this guttermuppet lives in Waterbury, Daddy lives in Bridgeport, and Mommy lives in Georgia. I’m sure they read him a lot of books growing up and taught him to obey the law and follow rules. These are values that Clinton Rogers takes seriously. Definitely.

Of course if these idiots put half the time into raising their child with values and morals as they did coming up with a name that included an apostrophe in it, he might not be a huge piece of shit.

“The cops sent a judge and prosecutors to my son’s hospital room and they arraigned him. They did this to clean house. It was making themselves look good.”

Or it could be the fact that he committed a crime and had to be arraigned in the hospital instead of a courtroom because he was injured and receiving taxpayer funded healthcare. Nah, that can’t be it Clinton. Better go get a new flat brimmed instead of raising your child.

“Police brutality needs to stop.”

LOL. Police brutality. Yea, that’s what it was. The fact that your son is a violent felon who could’ve easily just surrendered and followed directions to stop driving in a stolen vehicle had nothing to do with it. I mean, why mention the relevant facts? Wouldn’t want to miss out on your chance to cash in as the next mother of the movement. You might even get invited to the DNC in 2020. After all, these are the kind of brilliant people that Hillary Clinton and company seem to enjoy pandering to.

“Why wasn’t this situation de-escalated? Why didn’t the police discontinue the chase? Waterbury Police endangered the Waterbury community, shooting a child.”

Strong point. Criminals should have the right to run away from the police in stolen vehicles. We should cater to them, so as to make sure criminals don’t get boo-boos during the commission of a felony. Sure, you could ask yourself, “why didn’t my son de-escalate the situation by just stopping,” but that would require taking actual responsibility and holding your son accountable for the crime spree that unnecessarily endangered civilians, the police, and himself.

Oh yea, and for what it’s worth the kid admitted he was in the wrong and apologized to the police officer. The criminal apparently is the only one taking any sort of responsibility here. Not sure why big daddy left his phone number on that video, but it sure would be a shame it people started calling 475-235-7355 to share their thoughts with him. Once again we ask you to NOT call 475-235-7355. Whatever you do, do NOT call 475-235-7355. That would not be good.

GFQ. Probably not. Because more than likely the children of police have been raised to understand that laws are not optional, and running from the cops in a stolen vehicle is a low percentage move that will more often than not end up with someone getting hurt.

The problem is only with white police though, because they inherently believe that black men are a threat to their existence:

Yea, if you “look a certain way in a poor neighborhood police consider you a possible suspect.” For instance, if you look like you’re driving a car that has plates which indicate it is stolen, police MIGHT consider you a potential suspect in their search for that stolen vehicle. Fucked up, right?

But please, tell me more about how black lives matter ISN’T an inherently anti-police organization that regularly calls for police to be killed. Because I hear that one all the time from social justice warriors. But yet here it is in plain sight – black lives matter activists labeling ALL police as pigs, and urging death upon them all. Weird.

The sad part is that Tina Williams actually believes that. She actually believes that all kids steal cars and lead cops on high speed chases. That statement right there speaks volumes and is ultimately the heart of the problem. These nudniks are teaching their kids that stealing cars and running from the cops is like jacking off to porn. Just part of growing up for the average male teenager in America. Boys will be boys.

Of course if they really wanted black lives to matter, they’d teach young men to start obeying the law and stop putting themselves in dangerous situations. Then less people would die. But of course they’ve never really cared about black lives from the get go. It’s just an anti-police crusade masquerading as a social justice movement. They need black men to break laws, get shot, and die. Without that happening they’d have nothing to complain about.

Because when you’re dealing with anyone associated with black lives matter, facts don’t really matter. I know if my son were shot the first thing I’d do is run to Facebook and complain about police brutality. He must really love him.

The bottom line is that Clinton Rogers completely failed as a father, and as a result his son got shot. This is 1,000% on him. Turtleboy Jr. will never be in a situation like this, not because of his white privilege, but because he knows I will disown if he does. I certainly will not stand up for him, and I’d be embarrassed and ashamed because I would know that his failures are a reflection on my failures. But that’s because Turtleboy takes responsibility. Clinton Rogers is just a deadbeat opportunist trying to cash in on his criminal son.
