Suffolk County DA Rachael Rollins is a plague. She’s made a national name for herself in the woke community by basically agreeing not to use her office as chief prosecutor to charge people who commit a whole bunch of rather serious crimes. Ya know, because the prison-industrial complex is racist, or something.

She was the preferred candidate of felons fresh out of jail, because she’d be most likely to not send them back there. That’s why long time criminal Christian White, who regularly films himself harassing the police, was part of her transition team.

So it’s not surprising to see that another member of her transition team was arrested again today:

A former member of Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins’ transition team has been arraigned on domestic violence charges, officials said. Jeremy Thompson, 41, of Roxbury, was arraigned Tuesday in Boston Municipal Court on charges of criminal harassment and assault on a family or household member, according to a spokesman for Rollins’ office. Thompson worked on Rollins’ transition team until February. To avoid “even the appearance of a conflict of interest,” Suffolk prosecutors have referred the case to another district attorney’s office. Thompson was released on personal recognizance and is due back in court May 23.

This is what the left has been reduced to in the name of social justice – giving jobs to all these criminals with a documented of history of violence to fight back against racism. They desperately want to prove that their laid back, forgiving way of prosecuting criminals is more humane. They trot these guys out like trained pets, give them microphones, and let them talk about how they only went to jail because the system is rigged against them.

She’s one of the “good ones.”

Jeremy Thompson’s single qualification for making it onto Rachael Rollins’ transition team was the fact that he previously was in jail.

That’s it. Had he not been a criminal then there would be nothing to reform, and then they’d have no use for him. Rollins claims that she dumped him from her staff in February, yet he’s still listed on her website:

“Community Advocate.”

Translation – unemployed.

You also see that True-See Allah is on her transition team. If that name rings a bell it’s because he’s a former gang member convicted of attempted murder, who every member of the governor’s council except for Jen Caissie voted to pardon in 2015. Because people who think like Rachael Rollins are not confined to the DA’s office.

And despite claiming that Rollins got rid of him in February, he was still hosting town halls with her in March.

Rachael Rollins has also been vocal about legalized marijuana. She’s in favor of it, but according to her “everyone making money from cannabis is white.” Guess what field Jeremy Thompson hopes to get into?

It’s almost like she’s a corrupt hack giving jobs to her criminal, women beating friends!

Oh, and Jeremy’s hoping to get money from other white guilt laden liberals in the form of “social justice loans” (yes, that’s a thing) to get his business started.

This line of thinking goes as follows:

• Black people were sent to prison for years for selling weed
• Now that weed is legal the people applying for licenses and taking out loans to start businesses are mostly white
• Society owes a debt to black people who sold weed, so we should be having racial quotas on who’s allowed to open cannabis stores, and giving taxpayer money to “marginalized” folks like Jeremy Thompson

Now he’s back in jail for domestic violence. It’s almost as if ex-cons were convicted for a reason.
