I don’t like to blog about politics, but Alexandria Ocascio-Cortez Veracruz De La Hoya is just a never ending sea of entertainment. I can’t stop watching here. She’s every dumb ratchet broad we’ve ever blogged about, except she’s in Congress. I could probably write a book about her, but I think I’ll just do a little blog like this whenever she says something incredibly dumb and I wanna laugh about it. Republican Texas Senator John Cornyn tweeted this a few hours ago:
“We were the first to assert that the more complicated the forms assumed by civilization, the more restricted the freedom of the individual must become.” Benito Mussolini
— Senator John Cornyn (@JohnCornyn) February 24, 2019
I don’t even know what he’s talking about exactly, but the fact that he quoted Mussolini PROBABLY means that he’s suggesting that the democrats are acting like dictators by creating bigger government that restricts personal freedoms. I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess that he’s specifically referring to the Green New Deal, because he used the word “complicated,” and the GND would cut down on individual freedoms (to have flatulent cows, to keep your money, to not have your home chopped down, etc).
Again, I don’t know exactly what this is about, but using my adult superpowers of deduction, I am going to guess that he is NOT quoting Mussolini because he’s a big fan.
Moron didn’t see it that way:
In case you missed it, while the GOP is calling paying a living wage “socialism,” a Republican Senator full-on quoted National Fascist Party leader and Hitler ally Benito Mussolini like it’s a Hallmark card.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) February 25, 2019
I can’t. I just can’t.
Forget all the talk about socialism and a living wage. She actually thinks a Senator from Texas is out here pimping Mussolini with no shame on Twitter. She has no idea that he’s actually quoting Mussolini because he’s criticizing her Green New Deal. She looked at this tweet, smugly said to herself “that will show him,” and then hit send anyway.
This is what you get when you elect a bartender to Congress. I for one hope that she never stops talking, and that Nancy Pelosi continues to keep the leash off of her. She’s so fascinating to watch. I could do a column like this every day.
