Fox 25: The mother of “Baby Bella” appeared in court Friday to officially change her plea as part of a plea deal. “Bella was everything for Rachelle. Rachelle lives to see McCarthy convicted,” said Rachelle Bond’s defense attorney.
Rachelle Bond is charged with being an accessory after the fact to the murder of her daughter, 2-year-old Bella Bond, and larceny over $250 by false purposes for allegedly continuing to accept public assistance after she knew of Bella’s death in late May or early June of last year. Bond previously pleaded not guilty but was in court Friday to change her plea. The District Attorney recommended time served, two years probation in court as part of the deal, which includes testifying against her ex-boyfriend, Michael McCarthy.
A source told FOX25 that on the day of Bella’s death, Bond had gone into her daughter’s room and reportedly saw McCarthy punching Bella because he believed she was possessed, before keeping her little body in a refrigerator for around a month until disposing of it. Bond spoke in court and said she is taking meds for depression and anxiety. Her attorney said that Rachelle is another victim in the case.
“Rachelle overcame much to provide life for Bella…until Michael came into her life,” said the defense attorney.
Bond had already lost custody of her two older children prior to Bella’s birth and had been arrested for sexual conduct with a fee, according to court documents. Bella’s father said the baby was conceived in an Occupy Wall Street tent.
The next person who says “heroin is a disease” is getting smacked in the grundle. I’m so sick of it. All these people do is create this atmosphere in which no one is EVER responsible for their actions, so long as they’re addicted to heroin. Because that’s ultimately what happened in this case. Rachelle Bond is getting away with being a joint venturer in the first degree murder of a 2 YEAR OLD, getting rid of the body after the fact, collecting welfare from the state by LYING and saying that she was still alive, and banging a monster who she willingly brought around her child. She should never, ever see the light of day again. Instead she’s getting nothing. Because she has a “disease.”
And what’s the plan after she gets out? She gonna go back to $15 handy’s or get a job with benefits at Wal-Mart? Because we all know what’s gonna end up happening here. She’s gonna go right back on the government dime, eventually she’ll relapse and there’s a good chance she’s gonna get knocked up by another junkie with a “disease.”
Our court system is clearly a joke. A lot of people are gonna blame Judge Christine Roach, and understandably so. She’s a Deval Patrick appointee, which means she probably has terrible judgement and thinks criminals are all just misunderstood simpletons who have lost their way.
But this wasn’t the judge’s fault. He or she simply accepted the plea deal.
Some will blame the defense attorney who had the balls to call this deadbeat trashbag of a “mother” a victim, and says that Bella meant everything to her. Wrong. Heroin meant everything to her. Dick meant everything to her. Bella meant very, very little to her. She was just there to make sure the welfare checks rolled in. Just listen to this crackbag in these videos:
She sounds like the chick at the roulette table ripping butts and telling you to put all your money on red because black has come up five times in a row. And did you hear her yelling at Bella there? You can tell just from the way she spoke to the child that she’s an abusive woman who doesn’t understand that children have minds of their own. Guaranteed she put that kid through hell.
Then there’s this:
“Prosecutors have said Bella’s short life was marked by neglect and abuse. A man who briefly lived with the couple told investigators that he twice saw Bond and McCarthy lock her in a closet for 30 minutes to an hour while she screamed to be let out.”
She was just as bad. She was in on it. What kind of mother locks her kid in the closet for 30 minutes while they’re screaming? One that chose heroin and dick over love. She is an animal, and not even remotely close to being a victim.
But ultimately the job of a defense attorney is to defend the indefensible. You can’t be mad at them for doing their job. No, the person most responsible for this shitty outcome are these two asshats:
ADA David Deakin and Suffolk County DA Dan Conley. Deakin negotiated this joke of a plea deal, and Conley gave it his stamp of approval. It’s the defense attorney’s job to ask for this. The prosecution doesn’t have to accept it. But they did.
Deakin is the head of the Family Protection and Sexual Assault Bureau and Senior Counsel to the District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston. “Family protection.” Yet the person he is protecting is the grown woman who could’ve stopped all of this from happening. He’s doing nothing for the innocent two year old who had the misfortune of being conceived in a tent at Occupy Wall Street. The Boston Globe talked this guy up when it was announced that he was going to lead the prosecution:
“Bella was failed in so many ways. But her story will finally be heard, and Deakin is the right person to tell it. If there is any justice for Bella Bond, he will find it.”
The worst part about this is gonna be when they let her out after she testifies against the guy who she allowed to live with her for months after he killed her daughter? She’s gonna showboat for the cameras and tell them how happy she is that he’s going to jail for life. She’s gonna play the victim and the media is gonna eat that shit up like they always do. And no one is gonna have the minerals to call her out for it except for Turtleboy.
P.S. If I see that shitstain alleged sperm donor junkie Joe Amoroso anywhere near a news camera, I’m gonna kick his ass myself.

Holy crap. I almost threw up when I read this. The system failed Bella in life, and continues to do so after her MURDER. Drug addiction is NOT a disease. It is a choice. Same as alcoholism. Explain to me why if she was an addict, and her other children were taken away, why was this child still with her….. I know for a fact that once DCYF is involved and your children have been taken away any other children you concieve are also removed until you follow through with a case plan and do what they want you to do… So clearly once again the system has failed another child…. As much as it sucks not always true of child services. My loser neice had a beautiful baby boy who was ultimately adopted Thank God! Once he was taken and child services found out she was knocked up they could do nothing because she was now in another County. The big guy upstairs was watching over the baby girl, something else happened and she never left the hospital with the baby. Brother and sister are now together adopted by great people! If you have a child taken it should be mandatory to have a clamp put on so you never conceive again! The system fails so many innocent babies while protecting loser parents.
