Fox 25 News: The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine has suspended the license of a doctor who’s accused of posting videos of his patients online. The Board alleges Dr. Randall S. Bock, M.D. posted video recordings on his YouTube channel without signed consent forms for 27 patients. Bock was a primary care provider who treated patients with Suboxone for various opioid-related addiction issues. During the Board’s meeting on October 10, members found Bock “poses a serious threat to the public health, safety, and welfare” of his patients. Bock has seven days to appeal the Board’s decision.

Normally when you’re publicly shamed like this the first thing you do is shut down your social media accounts. Not Stiff Huxtable though. The guy is posting away on his wide open Facebook page like nothing happened, and his friends are all commenting like he didn’t just lose his license for posting videos of 27 patients on YouTube without their consent.
As you can see, he’s a conservative. Which is odd because he’s constantly railing on government programs like Mass Health while actively ripping them off. Ya see, Randy Bock seems to have made a living taking advantage of junkies. In 2012 he was forced to pay $53,000 by the AG’s office for basically instituting a junkie tax to cut the line for suboxone, even though he was already being reimbursed by Mass Health.
Randall Bock, M.D., was referred to the AG’s Medicaid Fraud Division by MassHealth, the state’s Medicaid program, for allegations of improperly taking an “administrative fee” of $185 from MassHealth members in addition to taking MassHealth reimbursement for opioid addiction treatment with the drugs Suboxone and Subutex. Suboxone is the brand name for the combination of buprenorphine and naloxone, an alternative to methadone that must be administered daily in a federally approved clinic setting. The demand for Suboxone treatment far exceeds the supply of physicians authorized to prescribe it in Massachusetts. Only about 2 percent of Massachusetts physicians are authorized. As a result, some physicians have taken advantage of this supply-demand imbalance by charging patients cash in addition to MassHealth reimbursement for Suboxone treatment. This practice is illegal.
Yes, that’s right, the guy who rails against government waste is not only collecting money from the government, he’s also illegally charging people to get subs so they can pretend to be off drugs.
The fucked up part is that the year before he published an article complaining about doctors giving out suboxone to patients, particularly that it was free for junkies, because he argued that it didn’t help to fix them.
This free refill policy, aside from not helping beleaguered taxpayers, doesn’t even help this man’s addiction, by avoiding teaching any personal responsibility. The longest he has been free and entirely clean from narcotics, in the last 18 years, has been during a three-year episode in prison. Invariably, within a few days after any detox (or release from prison), he will restart narcotics,most often because he is “bored”.
You got that? The guy who writes about how he’s morally and ethically opposed to handing out government funded heroin placebos to junkbags has been handing out government funded heroin placebos to junkbags for years, AND was charging them an illegal $185 fee on top of that. It’s almost as if he was so butthurt and bitter about all this waste he sees around him, and thought it was unfair that he wasn’t benefitting from it too.
Then again in 2018 he had his license again suspended by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine.
In a Final Decision & Order, the Board reprimanded Dr. Randall S. Bock’s medical license after it found that he had fraudulently procured the 2013 renewal of his medical license by failing to disclose an investigation into his treatment of MassHealth patients by the Office of the Attorney General and for inappropriately “refilling” his office supply of Suboxone from patients’ prescriptions. The Board also imposed a fine of $5,000. Dr. Bock was licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts from February, 1984 until January 22, 2014 when his license to practice medicine was summarily suspended by the Board. Dr. Bock, whose license lapsed in 2015, maintained a general medical practice in Revere.
So this guy
- had his license renewed in 2013 because he forgot to mention that he was being investigated for refilling his own supply of suboxone by using his junkie patient’s prescriptions
- then he had his license suspended in 2015 but somehow kept practicing
- then kept his general medical practice in Revere anyway before having his license suspended again in 2018 (even though I thought it already was suspended)
- then yesterday they suspended him again for posting pictures of his patients on YouTube
I don’t know much about doctoring, but it looks like you can get suspended an infinite amount of times and keep being a doctor in Revere. The reviews are quite telling too. According to some former clients he’s not only running a suboxone mill while ripping off Mass Health, he’s also made awkward sexual comments.
Again, a normal person would lay low with complaints like this. Not Jonas Stalk though. He screenshots the complaints and writes rebuttals on his public Facebook page.
Let’s hope this creepy suboxone mill douchebag isn’t allowed to practice medicine again in Massachusetts.

There has been a whole bunch of people. A great many that do just fine while addicted to drugs or alcohol. They own houses. They own cars. They have jobs, They have sex. They have will. They have pride.

This guy is certifiably insane. I’m not an addict and happen to be from the area (escaped a few years ago). About ten years ago my primary care became a specialist and I needed a physical and blood pressure med refilled so somehow I ended up in this nuts office. Had no idea what I was in for. My blood was drawn in what was basically the hallway from a ratchet ass nurse. Then Bock examines me and makes a very animated comparison of my heart to a motorcycle engine. I’m talking pantomiming his hands on handle bars while making rumbling engine sound effects. I seriously wanted to laugh in his face but was worried Nurse Ratchet just gave me AIDS in the hallway.

Is it the law that clinical practitioners have to take MassHealth? Political persuasion/affiliation doesn’t mean a thing if every doctor must do what the law says. Wait until single-payer comes and the docs become Fed. employees…the gov’t will determine who lives or dies.

Look away from the HIPAA violations…
Even though healthcare providers, healthcare facilities, and (sometimes) insurance companies must comply with HIPAA – there are some “gray” areas.
Your information can be “sold” and used for marketing purposes.
For example, if you’re a anticoagulant patient (regardless of where you get your blood drawn), your information can be used when providers are creating a patient list for a new drug or service they’d like to provide (e.g. a new Xa inhibitor). Lists are also created when a new doctor who has joined hospital or if you fit a particular fundraising program.
Why do junkies and vegans always feel the need to tell people who aren’t asking, how long they’ve been clean for? It’s obvious you’re a mental case but what makes you think I care how long you haven’t had drugs or a meatball any more than you would care about my BM schedule? No one cares. Shut uppa you face.

You can only record video in public. In a private doctor’s office, it’s a HIPAA violation and against the law and even worse when it’s a medical office/doctor for something like addiction or mental health that most would prefer to keep private.
