Three days ago we shared this story about a new Facebook page where Worcester teenagers upload videos of fights onto. Classic Worcester hoodrat stuff. This is the stuff that Jumpin Joe Petty and company pretend doesn’t exist. Well Fox 25 News obviously rides the turtle because they reported on it today:
Yup, another news outlet that doesn’t like to credit their sources. No big deal, we all know where they found it. Hey Fox 25 – you mentioned there that the kids changed the name of the page to hide it from administrators. You forgot to mention that they had to do this because we kind of blew up their spot. Stupid facts!!!
You know what my favorite part about this clip was? The fact that Fox 25 went to visit acting superintendent Marco Rodriguez and he didn’t wanna discuss the fight videos. Nope. He wanted to discuss Worcester’s graduation rates. LOL. These freaking people man. Hey genius – no one cares about your stupid charts. They wanna know why these kids are beating the bag out of each other in the halls of North High School and uploading it to Facebook. They wanna know why you continue to brag about your lower suspension rates when clearly we can see on the videos that kids are as violent as they’ve ever been.
So the bottom line here is that nothing changes. Bureaucrats continue to cover up reality and news outlets continue to have no integrity or ethics.
P.S. I know some people want this page shut down, but we don’t. The fact that it’s allowed to stay up proves to us that no one actually works at Facebook and a computer sends you back an automated message when you report a page. We’ve spoken with the kid who is behind the page and told them we would ask people not to report their page if they don’t encourage people to report our page. It’s all in the game yo. All in the game.

Suspension rates down. Easy – don’t suspend anyone. Next!
why is the link in the first line going to a youtube video that has nada to do with the original story? Was that a test to see who reads it?
Didn’t even have the courtesy to give you a reach around.
I bet if Maria still worked at fox 25 she’d give you props. You know she’s a turtle rider
