WRKO’s Jeff Kuhner organized a protest on the steps of the Statehouse in Boston today and it’s got people all hot and bothered, as you would imagine. I’m personally a big fan of the protests. Anything to annoy the terrible, terrible people who make up Team Lockdown. If you read the replies to most tweets on this subject, the people who are in favor of the complete lockdown are getting ratioed, which is a good sign that public opinion is changing.

People are starting to realize that the lockdown is a failed policy that kills the elderly, endangers at risk children, destroys the economy, and violates civil liberties. You’re not a good person if you’re on Team Lockdown and you’re certainly not saving lives. Everyone at this rally will be fine. If one of them gets the bug and dies then that’s a risk they were willing to take, and it’s how freedom works. The idea that you can’t protest is the most un-American, dystopian bullshit I’ve ever heard. I would much, much rather die than live in a country where the ability to assemble and speak freely was suspended because of a virus that almost exclusively kills the elderly and those who are already sick.
If the government cared about saving lives they would’ve put all their time and energy into making sure COVID didn’t get into nursing homes, since this is mostly a nursing home pandemic. Instead they wasted their time and effort into policing the healthy while allowing old folks homes like the one in Holyoke to become death factories. Charlie Baker once again has blood on his hands. He doesn’t give a shit about your safety or well being, just like he didn’t care about those 7 bikers who were killed in New Hampshire last summer, or the children of Luke Noble. He only cares about placating unreasonable mobs of Karens so that he can maintain a high approval rating despite being a “republican” in Massachusetts.
Anyway, the blue checkmarks are out in full force laughing at these people on Twitter. It’s your basic, “dur, dur, dur, rednecks are stupid, dur, dur, dur, they don’t believe in science, dur, dur, dur, they probably drank bleach cuz Trump told them to.” Shit like that. And one of them is this man:
Kevin Paul Dupont is a Globe hack who covers the Bruins, and almost definitely has hoofed feet. And because he works for the Globe he was required to hate WEEI when Kirk Minihane, Gerry Callahan, and Alex Reimer worked there, because they criticized his newspaper for being a cesspool of sexual harassment and fake news from pathological liars like Kevin Cullen.

Here was his take on the protest.
No big deal. Just a well known writer for the biggest newspaper in New England wishing death upon a crowd of peaceful protesters. Good thing he didn’t inspire other nutjobs to post shit like this under his tweet.
These people are so sick, demented, and evil, and yet they think they’re the good guys. Yet all they do is cast judgment on people who they believe are dumber and therefore lesser than them. This piece of human garbage just advocated for shooting down and murdering people who are begging for the right to go to work. He views each and every person who attended the peaceful protest today as subhuman and deserving of death because unlike him they’re not pussies who choose to live in far.
Kerry Sweet is from Merrimack NH, and according to his LinkedIn he works as “executive team leader of asset protection” at Target. In other words, he’s gainfully employed at one of the billion dollar corporations that is making BANKS off of this bullshit lockdown, while the small business owners protesting today lose everything. He’s got a long and storied career as the guy who makes sure kids don’t steal shit at chain stores.
Note to people like Kerry – if you’re gonna threaten to kill a bunch of peaceful protesters, you should probably avoid putting your phone number on your resume which is attached to your LinkedIn account.
Actually, hold up – it was just sarcasm.
Annoyed at the responses. Obviously it was sarcasm… just can't believe how many people are ok with what happened today.
— Kerry Sweet (@kjsweet11) May 4, 2020
Yea, don’t you dumb protesters know what sarcasm is? Now instead of apologizing for being an asshole Kerry Sweet goes right back to blaming the protesters. Because people like him are ALWAYS morally right in their minds.
So many people have sacrificed so much by staying home and trying to make this go way. And then you have these A Holes spreading the virus because they want to go to the mall.

The Dupont tweet remained up for a while before he gutlessly took it down and put this up:
Shut the fuck up, you cowardly hack. You said you wanted to release the murder hornets on peaceful protesters. It was wrong to say, but just own it, apologize and move on.
But Globey’s are incapable of doing that. Just ask Kevin Cullen and Shirley Leung. Instead they turn it around on the dumb readers who were too ignorant to realize that he was referring to the protesters as the hornets. Which makes no sense because….they were already released.
“Many, if not most interpreted the tweet otherwise.”
See? It was your fault. You’re too stupid to understand the tweet because you don’t use words like “wherein” and “hive-like.”
Now imagine if he had tweeted the same thing about the Women’s March or the protest of imaginary Nazis three years ago. He’d be fired in two seconds, but for threatening to kill THESE protesters he won’t even be spoken to. This is the mainstream media after all, where blue checkmarks are required to lick each other’s balls about their “professionalism.”
Few carry themselves with the level of professionalism Kevin does, yet still maintain an air of joy & sense of humor.
Congrats on 45 years in the biz & thanks for being such an authentic & compelling guest on my show. https://t.co/AXHr7X9a6m

And just to show you how much he meant the original tweet, he still has up other tweets responding to people about it.
Yea fuckstick, those people are there because they wanna party. As you collect a six figure salary to put out drivel about women’s soccer that nobody will read:
— Kevin Paul Dupont (@GlobeKPD) May 5, 2020
Hey Kevin, remember when you called Tim Thomas “immature and unprofessional” because he wouldn’t go to the White House?
Kevin Paul Dupont on Tim Thomas skipping the White House in 2012: " Shabby. Immature. Unprofessional. Self-centered. Bush league. Need I go on?" https://t.co/zi02wutCKb
— Mut at Night (@MutAtNightWEEI) June 5, 2018
What do you call wishing death on groups of peaceful protesters?
People like Dupont think have a superiority complex that only gets amplified at work and at home because they are surrounded by people who think the same way they do. They’ve never met anyone who wants the lockdown to end, nevermind someone who voted for Donald Trump. He believes that he is better and smarter than them, and mocks them passive-aggressively with stories like this one:
A spike in New Yorkers ingesting household cleaners following Trump’s controversial coronavirus comments https://t.co/aoWJYMsgeA
— Kevin Paul Dupont (@GlobeKPD) April 25, 2020
Get it? Trump supporters are dumb because they’ll do anything he says. They’re not civilized and refined like the good folks at the Boston Globe who sexually harass women, make up stories about being at the Boston marathon bombing, and openly wish death on crowds of peaceful protesters.
