Evidently Corey Hodgon pulled a gun on several family members because he did not like what was on TV. On Christmas day nonetheless. The family, who lives on Marlboro Street (off Plantation Street), does not want to press charges. They want a psych evaluation instead, because obviously they understand that he needs help.
My question is the same question that’s on everyone’s mind – what were they watching on TV? Because it sounds like it was him and a bunch of chicks. There were some really big games on on Christmas Day. The Celtics kicked ass in the final minute of the fourth quarter, the Ravens and Steelers went at it, and the Broncos got annihilated by the Chiefs. If I had to miss all of that because my aunt wanted to watch It’s A Wonderful Life, I’d be pretty bullshit too. I wouldn’t pull a gun on them and force the SWAT team to come to the house, but I’d definitely let my displeasure be known.
Anyway, the family also says that the Worcester Police handled it wonderfully, and no one was hurt. But I guess this is a bad thing:

Obviously what the cops should’ve done is shot this cracker to prove a point. Because cops are trained to kill white people just to show the world that they’re not afraid to light up a couple honkies.
Anyway, according to Masslive this guy is facing a bunch of charges:
“Hodgdon, 24, was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and three counts of improper storage of a firearm. Not guilty pleas was entered on his behalf.”

Well it is very simple. The Worcester Police Department is a highly trained professional law enforcement agency that invests into themselves as Public Servants. Education and continuous training is a priority then a best effort to provide state of the art equipment as budgets allow and in most cases right on par with the rest of country. And in some cases beyond. The Shotspotter Activation Program is one great example of that not to mention that then Worcester Police Chief Chief Edward Gardella was one the county’s pioneers to implement Community Policing initiatives back in the early 90’s before many departments across the country even knew what the hell that even meant.
In as much as the state has cut off their educational benefits by and large with the Quinn Bill now history – the men and women in WPD blue along with the plainclothed and undercover divisions bring a level of professionalism that is second to none. You do not hear of or read of gross negligent police misconduct or overzealous responses from Worcester that consumes the news these days from around the country. It simply just does not happen here.

Well, let’s see….if Hodgon turned the gun on the police officers, charged at the police officers, resisted arrest and reached for something assumed to be a weapon, or lunged through the cruiser window and attacked the police officers, he WOULD be dead. But the lardass probably put the damn gun down which is why he is still alive….unlike some of the people across the country who did NOT put down the gun and were shot and killed by police. And YES, there have been some GRAVE occurrences when the police DID make the WRONG choice and KILLED a man for the WRONG reason (such as the guy who was running away from the cop in the park and was shot as he was running,) but to say this nut job should have been shot is ridiculous. He should be arrested, do time, and NEVER be allowed to own a gun. He, too, is a piece of shit who for some stupid reason owns a gun. JAIL!!!! I’m sure there is more than one TV in the apartment taxpayers are paying for. Why wouldn’t there be?
