Haven’t had a chance to really come down from the Boston Bruins 5-3 facializing comeback of the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, so here we go…..
I rewatched that entire game and it was simply emasculating. Game 2 was the same story of the Bruins-Habs rivalry – the Habs dive around the place, draw penalties, and score power play goals in order to make up for the fact that they are the vastly inferior team. I get really pissed off an complain about how much I hate these diving wannabe Euro-weenies. Then in the end the Bruins decide to try in the final 10 minutes and they completely have their way with the Habs. Because that’s what they do when they try.
My question is, how can Canadiens fans possibly feel good right about now? Let’s see what the worst fans in sports are saying….ON THE INTERNET!!!
Blow a two goal lead in less than ten minutes, with a chance to win back to back on the road against the best team in hockey? And they think this is “playing well?” I want what these people are smoking.
Jesse Desroches represents everything I hate about Canada. Oh you don’t like America Jesse? And the world doesn’t like us either? We give zero fucks what you losers think. America is for winners and so is Boston. Anyone who hates America does so for the same reason that people hate Boston fans – they hate us because they ain’t us. Period. At least in America we have American legends on our money. Guess who’s on Canadian money? The Queen of freaking England!! Bow your heads in shame Canada.
Kevin Sheehan is your typical Montreal fan. Living in the past like you read about. They love to cling to this whole 24 Stanley Cup thing like anyone gives a shit that you won the Stanley Cup a bunch of times during the Roosevelt and Carter administrations. Dude, no one remembers that. Even people who were alive back then were too busy focusing on trying to conquer Western Europe or waiting in long gas lines. All that matters is what have you done for me lately. And lately you are the little brother that we allow to play with us for a little bit, and then crush your hopes and dreams at the last minutes.
Bruins need help with discipline? LOL, that’s funny. What the Bruins need is for the referees to stop falling for Brendan Gallagher’s shenanigans. My hatred for him grows by the day. He is easily the most guilty of the Canadiens diving team. Yesterday he drew a penalty with the Habs up 2-1 in the third which led to another power play goal. The moment he got up from his dive he looked up at the official like a newborn looking for a nipple to suck sweet nectar out of. Because that’s how the Habs have been taught to play hockey since day one.
I’m seeing a lot of this sort of shit out there too
This is just further proof that Boston is the sports capital of the world. We are the kings and everyone else wants to sleep in the castle with us, but they can’t. So the peasants just unite over a mutual hatred of us fueled through jealousy. Yawn.
LOL, Canucks. Remember them? I almost forgot that they’re the west coast version of the Habs, just with 24 less cups. Sure the Bruins won the game, but the Canadiens have CULTURE. Well, at lead they’ve got that going for them.
I want what THIS guy is smoking. I really didn’t think it was possible for Habs fans to complain about the referees. What is their beef exactly? They only got twice as many power plays as us? Was the quota three or four times the amount?
Tihomir Genev? You are officially the biggest moron on planet earth. We are all dumber after reading this statement. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Yea, God forbid he show emotion after a goal. He needs more CULTURE!!
Newsflash – the last 10 minutes of the game is still part of the game. We let you think you had a chance to bring a 2-0 series back to Montreal and then we took it all away from you. Wasn’t that hard either.
Again with this crap?
Here’s some friendly reminders for Habs fans:
- You had six power plays, and we had three in Game 2. We won. You lost.
- We had 35 shots on goal and you had 28.
- Zdeno Chara had a plus/minus of +5 because he’s the best defensemen in hockey.
- Reilly Smith had a +3. He had 12 minutes of ice time.
- You won one game in Boston, thanks largely to Brad Marchand blocking an overtime shot from going in the net. You keep giving Carey Price all the credit, but Marchand was your best goalie in Game 1.
- In 2011 you won the first two games in Boston before we came back and beat you. This time you let us win one in Boston. Big mistake.
- The last time you won a Stanley Cup was June 9, 1993. Douggie Hamilton, who has scored in both games thus far was born on June 17, 1993. Your fascination with the past means absolutely nothing to him, as his entire life you have been nothing but lovable losers.
Can’t wait for Tuesday. I almost hope this series goes seven games just so I can enjoy reading these people’s comments for that much longer. After we beat them, I can’t wait until they jump on the Pittsburgh bandwagon. Sidney Crosby after all is right up there alley.
PS – The Final Four teams in hockey could once again be the Penguins, Bruins, Kings, and Blackhawks. Those are also the last four cup winners. Has the NHL become the NBA?

The Queen is on Canadian money because she owns the place. We’re under the monarchy up here. We also do not talk about hating the US, instead, more about how ignorant Americans can be.
Ps. I love my country, but I also enjoyed reading this.
I’m a Canadian, but a die hard Bruins fan!
Habs fan here. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the USA, and don’t agree those who blast the US. We have good Americans on that Canadiens team. That said, I have nothing but pride and respect for my beloved Canadiens. It’s not like I can bury my head in the sand and ignore the team’s history. Living in the past? How about Jack Edwards comparing a Bruins win with the Revolutionay War? That’s not living in the past? Very funny stuff.
Lovable losers?? No, not at all. These guys aren’t the Cubs or any sports team in Buffalo or Cleveland. They are the hockey equivalent of Saddam Hussein. You don’t consider Saddam Hussein to be a lovable loser, do you, Turtleboy?
I know I guy from Canada…..He is gay. Using Canadians fan logic, we can deduce all Canadians are gay.
This article made me smile. Well done.
How many Habs fans does it take to change a light bulb?
-None. They all just stand around and talk about how great the old one was.
It’s going to be hard for them to jump on Pittsburgh bandwagon when the Rangers end crosby’s season.
