Indiana is such an underrated state for dooshnozzelry. The Florida of the North was at it again this week when some local boob in Sheridan thought it would be wise to drive this float in the Fourth of July parade:

Indy Star: Don Christy doesn’t care what you think about his parade float. To him, the words “Lying African” in front of a depiction of President Barack Obama was funny. Many, however, are questioning the town officials, police and organizers who allowed the 73-year-old Christy to drive the display in Monday’s Fourth of July parade in Sheridan, a rural community of 2,900 in northern Hamilton County, north of Indianapolis.

“I’m not a Democrat. I’m not a Republican,” Christy told IndyStar. “I’m a patriot.”

Christy wore a prison jumpsuit and a blond wig while driving a golf cart in the parade. The cart’s roof displayed signs in support of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. On the front was the head of a stuffed animal with a sign reading “African Lion.” On the back, a doll with an Obama mask was propped in a toilet with a sign reading “Lying African.”

I swear to God there is no state in the country with this many morons per square mile than Indiana. This guy is everything that is wrong with Trump diehards, and represents what happens when the right loses its mind and lets the idiots speak. Gotta love how he says he’s not a republican or a democrat – he’s a Patrtiot. Nah dude, you’re a republican, driving a float with a sign supporting the republican candidate for President. Own that shit.

In any normal state this float would be widely condemned. Obviously you can’t put a float in a publicly funded and endorsed parade that calls the President of the United States a “lying African.” Obviously. For starters because Barrack Obama is not African, he is American. It’s a whole nother continent/land mass. He was born in the United States and he is not a Muslim. You can dislike him all you want, and this Turtleboy has many differences with Obama. But  claiming he wasn’t born in America just makes you look like a fucking idiot. Stop embarrassing yourself.

But Indiana is not a normal state, and instead of being condemned, most people are praising him with some brilliant commentary. Recently WHTR published this story about a black Sheridan man who has had enough and has finally decided to move on:

Honestly, if I were a black dude the last place I would wanna live is in a town that lets a float like this in their parade. Not because I’d feel “unsafe,” but because my head would explode being around people this dumb. Let’s check out what some commenters had to say…..

Turtleboy is the last person on earth to play the race card. So if we think something is racist, and you don’t, you just might in fact be racist.

Stop right there because we need to address something. Can we all stop saying words like “Killary,” “libtard,” and “Obummer.” I mean, it’s just juvenile. It’s also just not very funny, witty, or original. Oh you mean that the person is both liberal AND retarded, and you found a way to combine it into one word? Wow, that’s so crafty of you. When Trump comes up with these nicknames it’s funny, because Trump is hilarious. But you’re not funny. You’re just an illiterate redneck from Indiana.

People were bugging Obama about his birth certificate for years. Finally he provided it. Now it’s a forgery. Makes sense.

More brilliant takes from someone who doesn’t understand how freedom of speech works. Hey shitbrains, if this guy had driven down the street with this on his go-cart it would never have been news. It’s the fact that he did it in in a town sanctioned parade that makes it problematic. They had the right to censor speech in the parade, because it’s supposed to be a family friendly event. No one wants to go to a parade and get into a big thing about politics. They just wanna kill some time with their kids and parades are free. Stop being the turd in the punch bowl who has to make everything political.

Here’s another thing – stop saying “you black folks” and “you white people.” There are millions of both in America. We all don’t think alike believe it or not. Ascribing behavior to an entire race of people is pretty much the definition of racism.

God people in Indiana are stupid.

See I was with this kid until the white privilege thing. This is why Turtleboy can’t align with the left. Because they can’t just shit on these rednecks without bringing up abstract concepts like white privilege. Plus, there’s no way I can ever go to a political rally with any man who wears pants this tight:

The fact that so many people on the left look and act like Blake Lehr is the reason why so many people on the right don’t see anything wrong with a racist parade float. Because no one wants to be lectured about their privilege from some granola eating millennial driving a mobile vagina.

Here’s another thing – stop overusing words that normal people use to mock social justice warriors. This guy wasn’t “triggered.” He doesn’t need a “safe space.” He is not “butthurt.” This black man just looks around at all the morons in his community and realizes that he doesn’t wanna be surrounded by dumbasses. Stop using those words out of context because you’re killing them. They used to be great words, but they’ll lose their meaning if people use them out of context.

Yup, nothing racist about that!!

I agree that you can dislike Obama because of his failed policies. But please explain why anyone would need to put a sign that says “lying African” in order to achieve that end.

Anyway, it’s not exactly surprising that all of these people are Colts fans. Just think about that for a second. This was the portion of America that was crying for a Tom Brady suspension after their loser team lost a playoff game 45-7. These were the kind of people that Roger Goodell was appeasing. People who think they lost a game by 38 points because of PSI and believe our half black President is an African foreigner. Shut up Indiana.

P.S. Turtleboy’s reputation is that we’re some right wing blog. Wrong. Turtleboy is the voice of the underdog. We just so happen to operate out of a state in which conservatives are vastly outnumbered by liberals, who have the majority of the power. So more often than not we stick it to liberals. But if we lived in a state like Indiana we’d probably stick it to right wingers like this a lot more. Just sayin.
