Was riding the turtle today when I came across this on the front page:
Yes, that’s right. The Turtlegram and Gazette has reached a new low – they are now officially a Turtleboy Sports advertiser. This is how desperate they are. They know that we have a bigger audience than they do. They know we are constantly growing while they lose subscribers on a daily basis. They know where they need to go if they wanna be seen. They are paying us money in a vain attempt to stay relevant. We have not only defeated them, they have begged us to help keep them afloat. This has to be the greatest defeat of all time.
My question is, is this the most emasculating thing that has ever happened in the history of media? It’s bad enough that they steal our stories and whine about us all the time. It’s sad enough that they pretend like they don’t know we exist but then Brad Petrishan calls us whenever some moron tries suing us so he can get a quote. It’s gonna be pretty hard for them to pretend like we don’t exist anymore. But hey, thanks for not only riding the turtle but keeping our business in float. Watch out though, you might have a hippie boycott come your way!!!

The telegram still does a better job reporting some local news and probably will for a long time. As well local sports. TB is great but trying to hold a conversation with someone who gets their only news from a blog is enough to make someone want to end it all and jump off the Burns Bridge.
