Remember when Habs fans said the Bruins were classless?
Yea, nudniks like this are the real definition of class:
My question is, why do fans like this feel comfortable in Boston if we’re so classless? Because if we’re the white trash they say we are, then shouldn’t this idiot be tasting pavement right about now? The fact is that idiots like this are allowed to come into the TD Garden, wear the colors of the enemy, and not worry about having tacos and beer thrown at them. If the roles were reversed and a Bruins fan tried a stunt like this in Montreal, they wouldn’t make it back to the border.
This one hurts. A lot. I’ve got a lot more thoughts on this one but I smell like shit right now, so I’m gonna collect my thoughts and give you the hot takes on this abortion of a game a little later.
P.S. This is actually pretty funny. I’m just bitter and depressed.
Feel free to share your thoughts to keep the conversation going.

You’re right, some Habs fans are classless, just as some Bruins fans are. Those comments you cited are not very gracious. As for the statue thing, that’s just stupid. You don’t do that, certainly not in someone else’s city, at the very least. Boston has a great deal of class, nobody can argue that. But I’m sure that Bruins fans are capable of things just as stupid, especially when they win in Montreal and go for a night on the town.
By the way, there are lots of die-hard long time Bruins fans in Montreal and Quebec in general. I think the Bruins are the second most popular hockey team among French Canadians (since the Nordiques have left).
Canadians like to destroy their own cities when they lose playoff series
