Mosaic Cultural Complex is being audited for lying about being a non-profit, not providing services for the money they have collected, and using Mosaic as a political organization – all of which are illegal. Yet they still collected $64K from the City of Worcester this week.
As you know last month an ally of Turtleboy Sports filed a Freedom of Information Act request for a check written to Mosaic Cultural Complex. It was only for one of the countless checks Mosaic has gotten over the years while they were NOT registered as a 501c3. It came back extremely dirty. They asked for roughly $47,000 but received only $17,000, because Mosaic tried to claim they had paid people like Michael Jerry thousands of dollars but had no records to prove that. Exactly $15,000 of that went to Keesha LaTulippe’s Red Tab Consulting company, as they continue to steal taxpayer money in order to finance their diversity training-industrial complex.
Anyway, Mosaic’s being audited because of the fine work of City Councilors Gary Rosen and Michael Gaffney. The hippies showed up in full force at City Hall, calling people bigots because they DARED to have the audacity to insist transparency from an organization who is led by a black woman. As you know, it is racist to ever inquire whether or not a person of color who is receiving taxpayer money, is doing the job they are paid to do.
Well they got overruled. 11-0 as a matter of fact. Even fun boy Dicky Rushton had to vote yes, although he insisted that the audit would come back clean:
Since then we filed a FOIA request and found out that they are anything but clean. One would think that since they are in the middle of being audited, they probably shouldn’t be collecting any more checks from the city. I mean, common sense tells you to keep a low profile for a little bit.
But when you literally fear no consequences because you KNOW that you have that your local congressman, mayor, city manager, and several city councilors are in your back pocket, you can pretty much do whatever you want without fear of repercussions. That’s why we were shocked, but not REALLY shocked, to find out that just in the past week or so, the City of Worcester wrote Mosaic two separate checks totaling $64,730.84!!!:
You gotta give it to these people – they have balls. Absolutely no fucks given whatsoever. They know everyone and their mother is watching their every move, and they’re still shoving that gravy hose down their gullets. And they’re not just asking for small bits of money either. Oh no, these checks amount to four times the amount they were given on the check we audited. They’re literally squatting over you and dumping all over your face, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it – at least while Joe Petty is the Mayor of Worcester.
Jumpin Joe obviously has no intention whatsoever of stopping this. Because at the end of the day Jumpin Joe isn’t a real mayor. He’s just the next guy in line who put his time in and was rewarded with the blessings of Congressman Jim McGovern, and his now infamous crime family. Joe Petty doesn’t have the ability to have an opinion or think for himself because at the end of the day he is just a soldier for a much larger and more powerful machine. If he EVER turned against Mosaic he would lose everything becauseJim McGovern backs up Mosaic Cultural Complex INDEFINITELY. Just watch this:
Brenda, you and your team at Mosaic Cultural Complex have been doing groundbreaking work on issues of race, culture, and health.”
That’s why they do whatever the fuck they want. Because the most powerful person in Worcester County has given them his blessing. First we take down Joe Petty, then we come for this chump.
The bottom line is that according to the grant that Mosaic applied for, this money can ONLY be used to pay for hypertension services for men of color. Ya got that? It exists ONLY to test the blood pressure for 4-5% of the population of Worcester. So why the hell do you need $64,730.84 to test for something that CVS will do for free?
Oh yea, that’s right, they’re not actually paying for hypertension treatment. As you can see from the FOIA request we had filed, when they asked for $46,137.62 back in July, only $500 of that was going towards action blood pressure screening:
The rest is going into the pockets of Brenda Jenkins, Michael Jerry, Keefe LaPorte, and of course Keesha LaTulippe’s fortune 500 Red Tab Consulting corporation.
So what are they doing? Well, politics mostly. They organize protests and boycotts of local small businesses. They also held a press conference and had a meeting with Joe Petty, Melinda Boone, Ed Augustus, and Lisa Dyer, in which they lobbied these leaders to make sure cops weren’t allowed in North High School, and tried to make sure teachers weren’t reading Turtleboy Sports:
As you can see, Mosaic was clearly using its position to lobby for a political cause. (1) They still have no 501(c)(3) status, (2) haven’t filed any financials with AG, (3) they are not eligible for 501(c)(3) status because they engage in political efforts to change policy (Brenda as CEO advocated for no police in schools) and (4) they did not respond to any inquiry/request/demand from Attorney General.
We implore you, DO NOT LEAVE THIS ALONE!!! This is your money. It’s being taken out of your taxes, and is being given to people who do NOTHING except create racial tension, and then pretend to have the cure for it with a diversity training seminar. It’s the same reason they blocked Kelley Square – to get people mad so that they could call them racist, thus creating racism out of thin air. It’s like owning a tanning salon and selling chemotherapy next door.
Here’s Ed Augustus’ office phone number – (508) 799-1175. Here’s his email – [email protected] Here’s his Facebook. We urge you to contact him and let him know how insulting this is. Be diplomatic about it. Resist the urge to use foul language. The facts speak for themselves – your money is being stolen from you in order to finance a criminal enterprise with the blessing of your local government. They work for us. Never forget that.
But this sort of graft and sneakthievery should be a much bigger issue statewide. Obviously the Worcester hacks will just keep feeding each other from the trough, but the money comes from Boston. Here’s the phone number for the governor’s office – (617) 725-4005. Lt. Governor Karyn Polito is from Shrewsbury, so she has local ties. Here’s her Twitter. Here’s her Facebook. From what we hear she’s very reasonable and will listen to you if you write to her.
Why stop there though? Live in the Blackstone area? Your taxes are paying for this too. Here’s State Senator Ryan Fattman’s Facebook. Here’s his email – [email protected]. Live in northern Worcester County or the twin cities? Here’s State Senator Jennifer Flanagan’s Facebook. Here’s her email – [email protected]. Live in or around Spencer? LOL. Here’s State Senator Anne Gobi’s Facebook. Here’s her email – [email protected].
The bottom line is you just need to start taking this into your own hands. Because clearly the message isn’t being sent loud enough. A dirty, illegal, non-entitity that lied about being a non-profit and collects taxpayer money for services they don’t provide, is breaking the law in front of our eyes. Call someone. Email someone. Facebook message someone. This needs to be a much bigger deal.
And if you want to show them references, here’s some:
- Mosaic lied about being a non-profit.
- Mosaic operates out of 41 Piedmont Street – city owned property. They profit but pay no rent.
- Mosaic employs Nathan Pickens and Michael Jerry – two men who have called black men who disagree with their opinions, “coons” and “house niggers.”
- Mosaic, led by Joyce McNickles, Brenda Jenkins, and Sarai Rivera, organized the Kelley Square blockade, that impeded an ambulance and nearly started a riot.
- After the City Council voted to audit Mosaic, one of their “peaceful protesters” Julius Jones was kicked out of the meeting for threatening a City Councilor.
- The Worcester Public Schools are paying Keesha LaTulippe’s Red Tab Consulting Corporation $100 for every teacher that attends her diversity training seminar. They also sent out a district wide email to all teachers, encouraging them to attend, so that Keesha can increase her profit margins.
We’ll be filing a FOIA request for this latest check scheme ASAP. This is all we can do. We don’t block roads and we don’t hold rallies. Because that garbage doesn’t work. But we do elect officials and they need to be reminded that they work for us. Call them up, and most importantly – vote the Turtleboy Ticket for City Council in November:
Michael Gaffney (mayor too), Rob Sargent, Konnie Lukes.
