NESN: New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung was indicted on a charge of cocaine possession, the Belknap County (NH) Attorney’s Office told the Boston Herald’s Kevin Duffy on Thursday morning. News first broke of Chung’s indictment in the Laconia Daily Sun, that reported: “Patrick C. Chung, 32, of Meredith, was indicted on a charge of possession of cocaine.”
The 32 year old Patriots safety’s and he has a house in New Hampshire. Chung is scheduled to be in Belknap Superior Court next Wednesday for arraignment, according to the Daily Sun. Chung “did possess or have under his control a quantity of the controlled substance cocaine,” according to the indictment, via the Daily Sun. Chung could face punishment under the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. If this is Chung’s first offense, he would not be suspended. If he has violated the policy before, then he would receive a four-game suspension.

Police show up to check on the home, have probable cause to enter the home, and ultimately end up finding cocaine, leading to the investigation and indictment.— Jim Murray (@bigjimmurray) August 22, 2019
You gotta be shitting me! Cocaine?? We talkin bout Cocaine?? On Lake Winnipesaukee?? Ya know who’s doing cocaine on Lake Winnipesaukee? Everyone. This is what District Attorney Andrew Livernois is wasting his time with? He wasn’t even arrested because he was never found with cocaine actually on his person. This douche twinkie DA is CHOOSING to pursue this after cops accidentally stumbled upon it when his alarm tripped. All they had to do was give him a stern talking to. No one got hurt here. As far as we know he doesn’t have a coke problem, and he hasn’t failed a drug test for the Patriots. At worst he was partying in his own home, choosing to do a little Tony Yayo, and not bothering anyone. He wasn’t selling it; it just so happened to be in his house. Now, when this ultimately goes nowhere, his reputation is permanently destroyed.
This is just an overzealous DA trying to make a name for himself by going after someone who actually matters. Just look at this clown:
He was just elected last year. And wouldn’t ya know it? He has a history of dropping drug cases for REAL drugs like heroin. Like that time James Karr got a break:
Prosecutors have dropped a drug charge against a local man. A charge of possession of fentanyl against James D. Karr Jr., 30, of Hounsell Avenue, in Laconia, was dropped by the Belknap County Attorney’s Office. A motor vehicle violation charge of driving after revocation or suspension of a license was also dropped.
Yet the charges were serious enough to warrant $10,000 bail.
This is James D. Karr Jr.
Meth Muffin to the 10th degree. Homeless, transient bum who’s spent most of his adult life in and out of jail. He’s also a sex offender who was arrested in 2017 for not registering as a sex offender after a 2015 conviction for not being able to keep it in his pants.
James Karr, 29, pictured upper center right, of North Main Street in Franklin, on two felony counts of duty to report. According to the indictment, in June 2015, he was convicted of lewd and lascivious behavior in Clearwater FL Circuit Court and needed to inform Franklin Police of his presence when he was temporarily residing in his vehicle in February 2017.
He also has a long and documented history of not showing up for court and running from the cops.
A local man already facing felony drug charges, and with a history of failing to show up for court, was arrested by Laconia police Thursday for more drug crimes. James D. Karr Jr., 30, is due to be charged Monday on two counts of possession of a controlled drug — methamphetamine and fentanyl — with intent to distribute and two counts of simple drug possession, according to Assistant Belknap County Attorney Whit Skinner.
Keep in mind, he was arrested and charged with these crimes before Livernois was the DA. His office CHOSE to drop the charges against this poop donkey. This guy gets a break, but Patrick Chung doesn’t after police accidentally find cocaine in his house. Makes sense.
Oh, and Livernuts is a Republican who ran on a platform of cracking down on the opiate epidemic.
“I knew it was a problem,” he said during an interview Tuesday, “but I didn’t know how serious the opioid problem was — the number of cases. Seeing firsthand the number of overdose deaths (was a real eye-opener).”
And did I mention that he also specifically said that he doesn’t want to go after the drug users, because he considers addicts with a disease?
In addition to moving aggressively to prosecute major drug crimes, Livernois said he is very committed to the CORE and Drug Court programs which provide treatment and counseling to those “whose criminality is fueled mainly by their addiction.”
Unless of course he plays for the Patriots and can make Livernuts relevant.
Free muh boi.

It’s not only wrong but it’s absolutely ridiculous they charged this man.. 1. They had no warrant and no permission to enter the home, a “tripped alarm” and not confirmation does not give them probable cause. 2. If it does and they are acting under information that his house has been broken into,by criminals, and they then enter the house to find the criminals and find cocaine, well then obviously someone entered the home illegally and the illegal drugs found are theirs. You cannot enter operating on that assumption and then when you find illegal activity turn around and say it’s Patrick Chung… 3. If they did enter the home under those circumstances without a warrant or any consent, they are in no way allowed to go snooping through the house. They would be in search of a human being and therefore only allowed to look where a human could be like shine their flashlight around the room make sure it’s empty. The cocaine would literally have to be sitting on the dining room table or the floor in front of them.. In which case again, it’s onviously the intruder who you guys said was here…..
Body Cam will tell all…… Everyone start asking @realworldpolice YouTube channel to obtain it
If this dude or anyone for that matter showed up in my chambers for a job interview; wearing that horrific tie, pale faced, and pin holed eyes I would promptly have the bailiff remove them from the area. I would tell them to get the fuck out of my office. What a fucking scumbag.
When you wear a suit u need to use the tie to express yourself and this chud stuffer expresses himself by buying a tie at the TJ Max discount rack.
Attention paramedics you might have to narcan this piece of human garbage.
The judge says he needs to be sent to a place where he makes big rocks into small rocks. Any appeal or resistance will result in mandatory exportation to North Korea.
He probably has to drop the cases cause the evidence mysteriously “disappears”. That guys a tweaker.
A trip through Laconia is an instant self-esteem boost.
A good lawyer will be able to get him off, especially if he’s tested negative for drugs in the past. Personally, I think fentanyl and heroin are a lot worse than a little coke.
With that being said, you don’t get famous prosecuting someone who isn’t famous. Remember the Martha Stewart case? Then there are the book deals and movie rights, if it ever comes down to that.
Yeah.
A Hollywood blockbuster about the coke case of Patrick Chung.
The alarms were tripped. Yet the intruder didn’t see the drugs but the cops did. Something fishy here. Planted evidence? Gilford cops yes…They hate blacks in their town. Meredith? I dunno.
Laconia Walt.
Is Shell Shocker Bristol Turtlecunt? It reads like that antifa loving sjw.
Look at Liverlips pupils, he’s on drugs
Pin hole eyes on ca,era with mad lighting == h or oxy. Nuff said. Just look at him.
I’m never one to complain about police targeting blacks. Need to do it more often.
Who the fuck hacked my account. Go home libtard
ACCIDENTALLY found on June 25th. The grand jury returned its indictment on August 8th.
So, he wasn’t home but he’s arrested for it on August 22nd?
And they let a meth head sexual offender with a huge record, just walk away?
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS MAN?!
Something is definitely wrong here.
One case has nothing to do with the other….. dumbest article on here
Chung isn’t sweating it. Grown men are. Because they are “fans”…of other grown men; that play a game.
As a Bills fan, I really hope they really throw the book at this guy. Judt kidding. The fact they even charged him is rediculous.
Who the fuck leaves coke out in the open where it can be seen? Something ain’t right here.
Who the hell has coke leftover? Its gone the night of…. forgotten about, or they are a lot better than most at using in moderation?
I read the laconia daily sun every friday. They have a judge at the laconia court who doles out heavy sentences for drug crimes. I think the last name is o’neil, could be wrong. Heres hoping to chung doesn’t go to trial.
it’s pretty obvious who ever broke in left the coke behind REASONABLE DOUBT
He’s no diddler like kraft and not a Jew let him go.
Hey, I’m the only one allowed to be an anti-Semitic halfwit.
I’ve got a blue check mark on Twitter, asshole.

If you’re so extraordinarily talented, hardworking, and successful to make it to a position on the Patriots, you are out of your mind to get knowingly within 100 yards of anything illegal anywhere. Out of your mind to even think of knowingly being within 100 yards of anything illegal. Don’t even think of driving over the speed limits (at least in NH).
Even though this DA sounds like a jerk, that’s no excuse for Chung.
Goodell must be thrilled.
Its not like he killed somebody or danced at a gas station in the middle of the night or anything.
“THE PATRIOT WAY”
Krafty would help him out if he didn’t have his happy ending case to worry about.
Any of us that have ever driven through NH know of the police reputation there, extreme revenue collectors that would give their own GrandMother a ticket. Under our Constitution, that evidence is worthless. Was it Chungs? Did someone else leave it there ? Who knows ? This is just another NH revenue enhancement opportunity for NH. Granted, we can all buy cheap cigarettes and booze there, but every time you pass through there, you risk a $500 shakedown.
Try owning property there as an out of stater. Bend over and take it. They need to change the name to North Massachusetts, it’s certainly not the conservative bastion of yesteryear. The cops in my previous town had oui patrols from 12-3 am just to catch the out of staters. Douchebags
Free muh boi!!! Justice for Chunger!!
Why do DAs have such a hard on for productive members of society who can only be harmed by this shit but let the no-good repeat offenders off the hook? It’s a long standing pattern that’s never made any sense.
Is the DA’s middle name Elliot? -Looks like he ate paste, a lot of paste, as a kid….
Lawyer
