This is Rebecca Brodie from Holliston:

And she is one of the most ratchet people we have ever profiled. You just wouldn’t know it by looking at her.

In July she made the local news when her home became a nuisance for the town of Holliston:

Following complaints by neighbors about animal noise and smells from a Lakeshore Drive property, the town is now weighing tightening its zoning laws.

“We’ve got (residents) walking the neighborhood (triggering) gag reflexes, as a result of walking behind this woman’s property,” Health Department Director Scott Moles told the Board of Selectmen Monday night.

The 10,000-square-foot property at 70 Lakeshore Drive, Moles said, was at one time home to 30 chickens, two ducks, two pigs, four goats, and two dogs, none of which were permitted or licensed. Crates or sheds on the property required, but did not have, permits, he said. The property is now home to nine or fewer chickens, he said.

On Thursday, the Board of Health will meet in a continuance of a hearing on the property last month. The homeowner, Rebecca Brodie, did not attend last month’s hearing and claimed through email not to have received the notice. Moles said he sent her a certified letter, which he was told she refused to accept. He also tried to reach her by email without success. Brodie did not attend last night’s selectmen’s meeting.

Moles said he has received complaints about the property almost daily from residents since early May. Neighbors largely object to the smell and loose animals. Other complaints went to the police department, and the town at one point took all four goats off the property. One was taken in by a farm, but the other three were returned to the homeowner. At Monday’s meeting, Moles said it’s possible the animals may be in the process of moving to Connecticut.

Basically she’s hoarding a bunch of animals in a small place and as a result goats seem to get free a lot. The best part is the Board of Health sent her a certified letter about the meeting regarding her property, and she refused to sign it. Then she played dumb and said she didn’t know there was a meeting.

Classic.

Here she is sharing a Holliston PD Facebook post alerting the public about one of her misplaced goats:

That’s normal.

On the day that her story broke she shared this video to Youtube (which we saved if she deletes it) showing one of her goats on top of the “fence” which would explain how they escaped so easily:

Less than three weeks later she was making headlines in Plymouth, CT, as she was squatting on someone else’s property:

A Holliston woman at the center of a nuisance property complaint this spring is now accused of squatting at a farm in Connecticut. Holliston Health Agent Scott Moles said the resident, Rebecca Brodie, at one time had about 30 chickens, two pigs, two dogs, two ducks, and four goats on her 10,000-square-foot property on Lakeshore Drive. Brodie said she would move the animals to a farm in Connecticut.

“I would like to inform you that we have a squatter on my farm at 155 North Harwinton Avenue, Plymouth, CT,” a letter sent to a Daily News reporter Wednesday reads.

The letter, signed by Paul Hanson, who identifies himself as the president of Brittany Property Management, was addressed to the Plymouth, Connecticut, animal control officer. Hanson said Brodie toured his Connecticut farm in early July and left a deposit. He told her he would get back to her after reviewing her application.

“And then over the next four or five days she apparently moved in here,” Hanson said in a phone interview.

He said Brodie did not have permission or a signed lease, but brought “a couple dozen” chickens, as well as pigs and goats, to the Connecticut farm. Hanson did not give Brodie a key to the house on the land, he said, but the barn was not locked.

“It didn’t occur to me when I met her that she might do that, and I said to her ‘I’ll get back to you on your application and it’s all normal protocol,’ ” Hanson said. He said he does not live on the North Harwinton Ave. property.

“She moved right in.”

Good God. The stones on this lady. She realizes Holliston is about to shut her down, so she finds a random farm in Connecticut and moves right in without the owner’s permission.

Oh, and to make things better she then threatened criminal charges against the property owner for allegedly shutting off the water on his property:

In a series of text messages to the Daily News, Rebecca Brodie said she paid Hanson three months in advance, that he shut off the water to the farm, and she mentioned possible criminal charges against him.

“I cannot comment on an ongoing criminal investigation,” another text message to the Daily News reads.

Hanson said he is not being charged, and that one of two water faucets at the farm is broken, but the other works.

“The animals have water,” Hanson said

This woman isn’t even a tenant, and yet somehow she has tenant’s rights. God bless America.

So how did the animals get there? Simple – Old ThickDonald jammed 11 goats in her SUV and wisely uploaded it to Youtube (we saved this one too if she deletes it):

Then in late August the State of Connecticut jumped in and seized a bunch of her animals which were living in neglect on a new farm in Lisbon, because apparently this woman just runs afoul of entire towns and moves onto the next one:

Just to review what they found on the farm:

  • A bunch of dead birds that didn’t get enough food
  • Kid goats with the squirts
  • A duck….in her car….that was bullied and beaten up by other ducks
  • A bunch of chickens in unventilated cages in the summer heat where a bunch had died
  • A goat died (one of the goats in tat video likely) when she was moving it from one farm to the other because she packed the thing up in her SUV like luggage
  • She didn’t have any permits required to bring any of these emails into Connecticut
  • Four kid goats in a box stall, acting “depressed, sick, and weak”
  • Adult goats showing signs of emaciation
  • Inadequate housing for laying hens, ducks, turkeys, and chickens
  • A vet determined the goat had internal parasites
  • So she got a cease and desist, left the farm that day, and came back three days later with moldy hay (I had no idea hay could get moldy).

Oh, and here’s a video of her son trying to tackle one of the goats while a girl urges him on. Luckily the goat wasn’t scared (we got this one saved too obviously):

But wait, it gets even more insane.

Last week in Holliston a barn burned down, killing 47 of the 60 animals.

Haunted neighbors spoke of being awoken about 6 a.m. by the shrieks of animals trapped in pens.

“We woke up to the sound of animals screaming. It was blood-curdling screaming. It was just heartbreaking. Animals are so defenseless,” said Nancy McPhee, who called 911. “It burned for a long time.”

Sandra Yee, who grew up on a farm in Brazil, ran toward the maelstrom with cookies to try to capture a baby pot belly pig. Yee later grabbed a pair of hedge clippers to cut a path through a thicket of thorns and mud for animal control officers and the Animal Rescue League armed with nets. Exhausted, she broke down crying during the effort.

“The animals were screaming and screaming and you can’t do anything for them. It was a nightmare,” Yee said. “I’m still in shock.”

It was initially unknown whose animals they were, until Rebecca Brodie posted this on Facebook:

Oh yea, I’m sure the conditions had nothing to do with it. It’s not like she has an insanely long rap sheet and past history of animal neglect and abuse.

Turns out she ended up back in Holliston because a warrant was issued for her arrest in Connecticut in December for animal cruelty. She faces up to nine years in prison. Yet for some reason you can just drive a car into Massachusetts, kill 47 more animals, and not get arrested.

How is this possible? How can one woman squat on other people’s land, neglect and be directly responsible for the deaths of countless animals, and just move onto the next farm? Forty seven animals don’t die in a fire if the barn was adhering to the proper regulations.

Guess what she does for work……

Yup, that’s right – she’s a lawyer. And so is her husband.

Here’s the craziest part – in 2016 she ran for Sheriff of Middlesex County, the largest county in Massachusetts. Her platform? Prison reform:

“The current correctional system isn’t working. Massachusetts, along with many other states, is being sold a bottle of “snake oil”… and we keep buying it,” said Brodie, who has a law practice in Holliston.

Massachusetts spends half a billion dollars per year on incarceration so why do our inmates return home unprepared, asked Brodie. In any other profession, taxpayers would see a bill for $53,000 (the average annual cost for incarceration) and demand better results, said Brodie. As prison reform continues to be a hot-button topic around the country, Brodie said she believes Massachusetts is finally ready to stop making incarceration decisions based in fear.

“The most exciting thing about prison reform is that society does not need to wait for a new invention or discovery; we already know works and what doesn’t. We simply need to stop doing things that don’t work and start using practices that do work. This includes ending solitary confinement,” said Brodie.

This from a woman who has a warrant out for her arrest in a neighboring state. A woman who leaves a trail of animal destruction wherever she goes.

This is the most insane trail of destruction we’ve ever seen. It’s amazing that this woman is allowed to walk free after everything that she has done. How is she a lawyer??!!! Where are all these animals coming from? How does a lawyer have time to be a full time farmer??

Anyway, it’s just remarkable that this isn’t getting more coverage. Pretty scandalous if you ask me. If you know anything else about this feel free to email us at turtleboysports@gmail.com. We’re all ears.

Ok, folks….New news on this douchebag….Not sure if anyone saw the report on Fox 25 but they are reporting that not only does she have a warrant for her arrest in CT, which we knew, now a report is coming from some state inspectors that the animals living at 755 Concord St. were being “mistreated”. They discovered a pig out in sub zero temps with no access to his shelter because snow was blocking the entrance, a DEAD duck was found a food trough, baby goats that were clearly freezing trying to huddle under a heat lamp (they were also very hungry) and water buckets that were frozen solid or in various stages of freezing over. The report said that Brodie, or whoever knew they were coming to inspect the property, dumped water OVER the frozen ice in a lame attempt to show that the animals had plenty of water. Enough of this mentally ill animal hoarder!! Seize ALL her animals and kick her to the curb…..She SUCKS

Rebecca Brodie is scumbag animal hoarder that needs to have these animals taken away from her!! It was reported that there were combustible materials IN and OUTSIDE the barn that added fuel to the fire, no pun intended. WTF??? What a MORON……or maybe it was intended?? The fire marshal said that they didn’t think it was intentional but had to investigate further. This less than human needs to go to jail, end of story. Let’s hope these poor animals that were tortured and murdered by her lack of compassion and knowledge of how to care for another living, gets what is coming to her

The Lakeshore Drive property was built by my father and was an adorable quaint cottage my grandmother lived in for may years. I walk this neighborhood often with my dogs, it broke my heart seeing the front door open and farm animals in the house. My grandmother is rolling over in her grave.

She doesn’t want to leave? Make her want to leave.

Some night at midnight, cut the power and phone lines to her house.

At 3 AM, slash her tires, throw a bag with a timber rattlesnake in it through her bedroom window, go back to your car, get your shit ready, then blast your horn until she wakes up.

Next, run into the house through the door she forgot to lock and reoccupy the house while she’s running down the street screaming blue Jesus and pissing herself.

Sound like a typical lib. No morals, no ethics, entitlement on overload, probably has a few mental disorders – if not deficiencies, willing to break law/kill (animals) when she “feels” it’s necessary, etc.

“She didn’t have any permits required to bring any of these emails into Connecticut”

Wow – didn’t know permits were required for transferring emails across state lines.

Honestly, I had to read that 3 times before I realized it was supposed to be ‘animals’. Damn auto-correct!!

Yes hay can get moldy. Farmers can bale damp hay for goats or cows and real dry hay for horses.
    The ruminants can handle
moldy hay and horses should never have moldy or dusty hay.
She probably bought or begged round bales , that are usually baled for cows and cheaper. Or construction hay which is crappy and cheap. Hang a dead goat around her neck for a week that should take care
    Of the problem.

Yes, similar to the method used in the HBO series Deadwood. Anytime there was a need to remove a body Al sent for the Chinese guy (I think he was a butcher) to pick up the remains and feed them to the hogs before turning them, the hogs, into pork cops and bacon.

10,000 square feet is not enough land to house so many animals, not to mention food storage and waste disposal. Animals, properly managed, on a larger parcel (such as a few acres) shouldn’t be a nuisance to neighbors, provided the property is zoned for such use.

Here’s a novel idea, why doesn’t she trade or sell some of her Livestock to that Hartford chick who is ready to hump a train for food stamps? Brodie can get her Go Suffolk quahog polished nice and ratch like Har’dford style by the Miss Clean of CT and lessen her load without having to make a quitclaim on some poor souls’ property. Kiriana Dejesuit there can then take a live goat or elephant and sink her choppers right into the damn poor live animal. Screw even cookng it up, that cannibal is ready to eat live. First some Brodie Pot Pie and then some Goat Cheesum (depending on how she prep the goat of course.)

See this is what should happen, all folks being profiled in Turtle Boy’s Sport can help each other out. One’s pet overflow is another 5 course with sex on the side. Godo old DeDe can also com in and charge everyone a fiver or saw buck so that she can get paid for her centuries of oppression and bad feelz. EVERY BODY WINS! Aint that right, DeDe Dildogado?
