Here’s a new spin on the four oppressed Doherty High School football players who refused to stand during the National Anthem last night:

Dear Turtleboy,

As you saw, three more students joined Michael Oppong by refusing to stand for the National Anthem, allegedly because America oppresses people of color. Well, I just thought you should know that one of these four, (redacted) is the son of a Liberian immigrant. His father came to America in the early-90’s during Liberia’s bloody civil war. He worked his ass off in low paying jobs so his sons could grow up in a peaceful and free country. I’m pretty sure he has no idea that his son did this. He’d be pissed. Oh yea, and I also know for a fact that a white family from the West Side has kind of been taking him in and helping him out for years. They take him out for his birthday, give him pockets, and drive him all around the place. Ya know, cuz of oppression from white people and all. The best part is that he wants to join the Marines. Because recruiters love to see stuff like this. Anyone, just thought I’d let you know. Ask around, you’ll see it’s true. 

So we got this message today and obviously we wanted to do some research before printing it. Turns out it’s 150% true. You can doubt us all you want, but ultimately the kid will read this, and he knows it’s true. His friends know it’s true. It’s a statement of fact. Naturally the usual butthurts will have their doubts because it will prove that the kids they’re rallying behind are a braindead kneeling contradiction, but it’s an undeniable fact that this kid’s father fled an oppressive regime in Liberia and the kid wants to join the Marines.

Out of respect for this kid’s father we’re not gonna print the kid’s name (even though we probably should), because I’d just be so embarrassed if my idiot son pulled a stunt like this. Luckily Turtleboy Jr. knows better. He’s not doing this because he was taught this at home. He’s doing it because he’s a dumb kid and a follower. It just shows once again how stupid and misguided these kids are. The only ones doing it are followers. He can’t stand for the flag but he wants to sign up to be a Marine so he can defend the flag with his life. Makes sense.

This kid’s father left a government that was ACTUALLY oppressive. Like, where you will die if you speak out against the wrong person. His dad could’ve gone to any country as a refugee, but he chose America, despite the fact that America allegedly oppresses black men like himself. He chose America because it’s the land of opportunity and he wanted his kids to have a better life than he did. So he sacrificed everything to come here and work a million hours a week. And this is how his idiot son pays his respects to his old man. Nice.

Once again, I’m not even mad at these kids. They’re not the problem. The problem are the adults who are cheering them on. The social justice warriors who think these kids are actually making a valid point. They’re not. They have no idea what they’re protesting, and it’s certainly not oppression. Let’s take a look at some of the comments from the Turtlegram to show you what we’re talking about:

So let me get this straight. This kid should not have to respect something that was “created around killing our forefathers.” But wait, this kid’s forefathers are from Liberia. He literally has zero connection to slavery, Jim Crow, or any of those awful things. But please Ray Moore, tell me more about how oppressed you are. You look really oppressed:

Lots of oppressed people have iPhones and speak freely on the Internet. Definitely.

1. They were never threatened with suspension. One of these dumb kids made it up and a bunch of dumb adults like you believed it because they wanted to believe it.
2. These kids aren’t kneeling for “equal justice and liberty for all.” The kid himself said he was protesting for “injust and unequality.” They’re kneeling because it’s the cool thing to do. Only a dumb person would think that these four kids have any fucking clue what they’re protesting. That’s you Kat Neri Rivera – you’re a dumbass.
3. If any of these kids lived in Liberia they’d ironically be down on their knees BEGGING to come back to America. Only spoiled, dumbass Americans with no persepective think that America oppresses black people.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet the worst person on the Internet, and the face of social justice warriors everywhere:

She’s not kidding when she says these kids have “lots of support.” She even tells them to “keep it up.” This is why these nudniks are doing this. Because they feel good about themselves because all these moronic adults are cheering them on. It’s sad.

Oh yea, and according to Krystal Linn she’s a person of color:

Yup, she’s not white. Except when she is:

Hey kids, this is your fan club president. This is who you are impressing. Just thought I’d throw it out there.

The crazy part is her comment got 28 likes. Twenty-eight people read that stupidity and said, “I’m gonna endorse this.” Here they are:

Hate Pickens, Dana Remian, Dick Poole, Natalie O’Hayre (AKA Nancy Smith) – there are some real winners we’ve profiled before in that group. I guarantee if we went through all 28 of these people we’d find out that they’re all equally stupid. These are the people egging on these misguided kids.

Anyway, we hope this kid’s father reads this and smacks some sense into him. He’s oppressed by white people and America, despite the fact that he’s been taken in by a white family, is the son of a man who chose America specifically because it’s not an oppressive country, and wants to join the Marines so he can defend this oppressive nation. Hopefully he’ll read this and stop embarrassing himself.
