This is Rosalie Tirella from Worcester.
She’s perpetually unemployed and runs a free newspaper called Cecelia (previously the In City Times) that you can pick up while waiting in line for a sandwich at Bushel n Peck. Over the years the newspaper has basically turned into a ratchet burn book, where she makes up shit about well known people in Worcester without any consequences. These people include:
- A local philanthropist she accused of trying to choke her to death
- Larry Raymond, a blind man she falsely accused of animal abuse the day after his guide dog died of cancer
- Lots of ex-boyfriends she’s accused of being poorly endowed and unable to please her sexually
- Falsely accused a fire chief of being a pedophile and hooker who made sex tapes
- Made up a story about Turtlegram and Gazette columnist Diane Williamson getting arrested for DUI and having the newspaper sweep it under the rug
- Outed City Manager Ed Augustus as a homosexual
She’s written about me a bunch of times too (making shit up) and she got sued by Milky Mike Gaffney for making up a story about someone wearing blackface to one of his fundraisers.
Anyway, she does this newspaper thing for a living and has a couple advertisers, but apparently it’s not enough to pay the bills because she’s constantly in housing court and has been evicted at least 4 times.
She’s also been charged with malicious destruction of property and doesn’t like keeping up with her car payments either.
She almost always loses in small claims court because she doesn’t bother showing up, gets defaulted, and has a capias issued for her by the sheriff.
Recently she posted about how a State Trooper named Timothy Harris pulled her over and allegedly stole her license plates, which she’s working to get with the assistance of State Senator Mike Moore.
Luckily she remembered the plates by heart and made her own.

Turns out she had an active arrest warrant for negligent driving and nearly hitting a pedestrian, and her registration was revoked because she had no car insurance.
Rosalie resides at 38 Blackstone River Road in the Quinsig Village neighborhood of Worcester, and a Facebook page was started by one of her neighbors that documents her insanity as she faces eviction because she’s refusing to pay yet another landlord. Rosalie has gone more than 4 months without paying a dime in rent, and has filed over 60 unsubstantiated DCF and police reports on her neighbors. She also has a tendency to destroy her own apartment so she can have a reason to call the board of health.
In particular she goes after Ashley Tibbetts and Alex Haynes, who live beneath her, along with her neighbor Dawn. She’s called the cops and DCF on them countless times after making up lies about them electrocuting her dog and neglecting their crotch fruits and grand crotch fruits. Oh, and she thinks the garbage truck from Casella that picks up their dumpster once a week is in cahoots with Dawn and Trooper Harris to spy on her.
She wants to get them so badly that she threw white paint on her own car, called the cops, and didn’t get the outcome she hoped for.
To make matters worse Alex Haynes, who has been living there for over 10 years, had a sister named Darlene Haynes. In 2009, right out of a Lifetime movie while 8 months pregnant, Darlene was murdered by a woman who had recently miscarried, so she could remove the baby from her stomach. Rosalie wrote defamatory statements about Alex and Darlene in In City Times, which forced the court to remove it from the Internet altogether.

Bigger issue: medicine refuses to do all that is necessary to ensure these people can function in society. Sec. 12, 2 weeks in psych ward, released on a promise to follow up and take their meds, off the meds in 3 weeks, start over. The State Hospitals provided a needed service for these people, rather than burdening Police/EMS and the local hospitals with them.
Two week psych stay?? Try the most three day psych visit..Promise of taking meds?? Try you need a Rogers court order to take meds. The wait for state hospital bed? Try almost six month wait for a bed.. Once a psych patient gets a state bed what’s the hospital stay? Try a few weeks

As a property manager, any idiot that does not do a full credit, criminal. and eviction check before renting to someone deserves this problem.
Personally, I think the non paying tenant laws need to change in this state so that:
2 warnings are made within 4 months. One warning each for 2 months. If still no payment within 4 months, proof of non-payment can be made to the court, giving them another 30 days to vacate, at this point with no future promises to pay and with no chance given to make payments. The owner of the property on record can then go to the property on day 31 and if the tenant(s) is/are still there and still refuse to leave, lethal force should be legally allowed to be used to remove any and all ADULT occupants of the property. Anyone under the age of 18 will be physically, even forcibly removed from the property and the site, and placed with DCF, and if adults still refuse to leave and/or attack the owner(s), it should be completely legal to shoot them on the spot and remove their corpse(s) from the property to the street. Then all possessions remaining within the property are the complete legal property of the owner(s).
If this were initiated, this deadbeat ‘system user problem’ landlords have would quickly cease to exist.
