Last month we blogged about the Claremont, NH absentee mother whose son was allegedly the victim of a racially motivated attempted lynching by some white kids from the neighborhood. Except the kid clearly looks white, and thus could not possibly be the victim of anti-black racism.
Nevertheless she milked it until she became a national cause celebre, and made over $53,000 on her GoFundMe, which is still up and has people actively donating to it. We knew this was a scam largely because it took her well over a week to turn it into a racial thing:
And her mother started adding new elements to the story:
After that the cash started flowing in.
Anyway, people have been messaging us for a couple weeks now, telling us that Cassandra Merlin has been been riding around Claremont in a brand new GMC Acadia. We told these people to send us a picture of it if they could find it, and finally we got this today:
That picture is shot at 156 North Street in Claremont. This just so happens to be the same street that the children all lived on:
“The investigation revealed that an 8-year-old child was injured while he was on private property off of North Street in Claremont, N.H.,” police said in a statement.
What are the odds??
Once again, the woman who just raised over $50,000 by using her biracial, white phenotype son as an alleged hate crime victim, drives around in that thing and parks it at her apartment all of a sudden. A woman who was allegedly poor and needed the money to move out of Claremont can afford a brand new car. Makes sense.
Of course this is just what multiple people are telling us. We don’t work for the DMV, but if we were a turtle rider who did work at the DMV we could just trace those plates and find out who the car is registered to. That would certainly clear things up. Just sayin.
