The Telegram and Gazette continues to be a bigger joke by the day. Yesterday witty columnist Dianne Williamson announced that her column had been cancelled:

Screen Shot 2016-02-05 at 9.32.08 AM

Without having any knowledge of the situation, we already knew the reason why. Dianne is blunt and honest in her columns, and the talk of the town right now is the Mosaic Cultural Center, and this proclamation from CEO Brenda Jenkins’ son Robert Alston, who also receives paychecks from Mosaic:

The Telegram has written many articles about Mosaic since we exposed this, and reluctantly cited us two days ago, after the Boston Globe did. Not once has any of their reporters brought up this Facebook post. Why would they? It’s only the most important piece of this whole pie. It’s a full fledged confession from a Mosaic employee that they are guilting dopey progressive white people into throwing cash at what he refers to as, “dumb n words.”

So yea, just as we guessed it, Dianne’s column was refused publication because it was critical of Mosaic:

Screen Shot 2016-02-05 at 9.32.18 AM

But yet in today’s paper, Clive McFarlane wrote a nonsensical defense of Mosaic by writing an “open letter” to his girl Parlee Jones and “Sister Brenda.” We were wondering how Spanky would try to justify the indisputable evidence that Mosaic has considered fraud:

I am sure you’re aware of the little trouble facing Sister Brenda and Mosaic, her hardscrabble organization that survives by picking up crumbs from the table of the city’s grant programs but which is now being attacked because seemingly even the crumbs are too generous in some people’s eyes.

First of all….Sister Brenda? Seriously? They printed this nonsense? You know who can’t call her Sister Brenda? White people. Because with Clive McFarlane it is ALWAYS about the color of your skin.

Secondly, she ain’t “picking up crumbs” from the city’s grant programs. She took the whole pie. And she’s not being attacked because these “crumbs” are too generous. She’s being attacked because she lied and cheated to get those crumbs.

But wait, it gets better:

Now, Parlee, you know I don’t like to poke my nose in other people’s business, but if the propaganda campaign against Sister Brenda deserves the CNN coverage it is getting, I would like to know why we haven’t heard a peep about other individuals and organizations in this city that have committed similar or greater sins than those of which Mosaic is being accused.

HAHHAHAHAHHAA. He doesn’t like to “poke his nose in other people’s business.” That might the funniest thing he’s ever written. Remember when Spanky wrote an article last March announcing that he had “unmasked Turtleboy.” He literally spent an entire column throwing out ridiculous accusations about who Turtleboy is, but yet now he’s sailing that he doesn’t poke his nose in other people’s business. And his proof was a website called “Buffalo Bruises” which is currently being sued for $500,000 because they literally make stories up out of thin air. This is a source the Telegram will cite. Hilarious.

Classic Spanky. He finally admits that Mosaic is a fraud, but it’s OK because the media hasn’t been going after other organizations that are stealing money from the city. He then goes on to list a bunch of organizations who have screwed the city out of money in the past and highlights the lack of media coverage for them. Hey Spanky, ya know why those organizations didn’t get as much coverage? Because their employees don’t write stuff like this on Facebook:

We could probably find shit about every non-profit in this state if we wanted to. But we picked Mosaic because they organized both the Kelley Square and Lincoln Square blockades. It is undeniable. We have pictures of the protesters before and afterwards at Mosaic headquarters, listening to speeches by Sarai Rivera, Joyce McNickles, and of course Brenda Jenkins.

Oh yea, and the woman he’s writing this to – Parlee Jones – she is a regular down at Mosaic. As a matter of fact she organized a fundraiser for Louis Farrakhan’s “Justice or Else” movement, which advocates for killing cops:

There was a catch though:Screen-Shot-2016-01-05-at-12.05.43-AM

Ahh yes. People of color and “known allies” only. Keep in mind they were hosting this on city owned property at 41 Piedmont Street, run by an unregistered non-profit that is actively receiving grant money from the taxpayers. And they purposely excluded people based on the color of their skin and their political ideology.

Screen Shot 2015-12-01 at 10.29.56 AM

The Telegram and Gazette allowed Clive to publish a love letter to a woman who actively practices segregation on city owned property. They published a column that was devoid of facts that could be summed up with one sentence – “But, but, but, other people are stealing too!!

I guess it’s not surprising really. The Telegram also published this article in November, written by Clive McFarlane, in which he closes by calling City Councilor Michael Gaffney a “slave master.”

Screen Shot 2016-02-05 at 9.57.03 AM

That’s OK, but being critical of a criminal organization that has been stealing money from the taxpayers for years is not OK. That is how executive editor Karen Webber feels. Karen Webber has been running this paper since March of 2015. This woman is the reason that Clive can post his bullshit, but Dianne is censored. This is the face of “real journalism” in 2016:

NOY Sunday Telegram

With a face like that she was destined to be a hack school administrator or the editor at a loser newspaper that is slowly going out of business. Hey Karen, thanks for being the biggest joke going right now. Without you going out of your way to make sure that your  paper never mentions Turtleboy Sports people wouldn’t know the extent to which we own your brain. The fact that you are trying soooooo hard to discredit us as legitimate only makes us stronger. It just show how much you are threatened by us. Turtleboy exposes were central to this story. You can’t write an article about it, not quote us, and still expect for anyone to take you seriously.

Screen Shot 2015-11-11 at 10.29.52 AM

Seriously though, who would EVER pay to receive a paper run by this woman:

She seems like fun.

The bottom line is that it’s pretty clear that the new ownership isn’t a fan of Dianne Williamson. But Turtleboy can tell you that she’s pretty much the only reason we ever read that rag. We don’t always agree with her, but that’s kind of what makes free speech so awesome. She’s not predictable. You don’t know what her next column will be about. She’s funny. She’s sharp. She is everything that Clive McFarlane is not. And consequently she is being censored while Clive continues to play the only card he knows how to – the race card.

We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.

Dianne wrote a piece highlighting what TB exposed. Clive is pro-Mosaic and wrote a column in support of Mosaic. The Editor is WHITE. What did you THINK was going to happen? Webber is so afraid of being called a RACIST that she wouldn’t DARE censor what Clive has to say. Diane is white. Therefore whatever she says that doesn’t SUPPORT Mosaic is going to be viewed as racist…because she’s WHITE!

That whole paper should just lock up shop.

Every comment on here is victimization. Diane didn’t getto write and Clive did it’s because he’s black whining whining we are victims of reverse racism lol

Sister Brenda…that says it all. Sister because of color alone. Apparently nothing else matters…Blind support based on color alone. That would be like me referring to “Brother Adolf”…not gonna happen. I can actually see that people should be judged on their actions rather than something irrelevant like color….wait, is saying color is irrelevant racist? That’s sorta like saying colorblind so I guess it probably is…I’m so confused…Go Clive! I guess?

Because the newspaper pays Diane to write the column they own it. Even if they chose to not publish it, it is still not hers to distribute.

Clive was the reason I cancelled my Telegram subscription if you are listening T&G. His cop hating racist rants are total BS and it’s about time somebody puts a sock in his mouth.

Does Clive even realize that he is being used by the “white masters” he rails against? When he is no longer useful to them, he will be shown the door. Yes the white masters understand that at some point the boy will serve no purpose.

I have tried convincing anyone who needs to be aware of Worcester county obituaries, arrests, and occasionally legal notices to cancel their T&G subscription with limited success. Actually ZERO success. Mind you some of these folks downright want all liberals to die slowly in a fire but they lack an easier alternative to get this necessary info. Every day they can expect this info delivered to their door as it has been for decades. As you may have guessed most of the peeps are older so instructing them to go to 5 diff websites and click and search instead of their old time tested method of simply walking to the door and reading a newspaper is met with much laughter and frowns. The T&G has a stranglehold on this info and until there’s an easy accessible centrally located and near free option I don’t see them cancelling their subs anytime soon. Unfortunately for us we just have to wait for them to shed their mortal coil. Dead people don’t renew subscriptions.

I’ll bet you a Coney Island chili dog that Karen wears sensible shoes. HEY why don’t all the Turtle Riders send a note to the T&G saying that we are going to boycott the T&G advertisers

Whenever I get calls about T&G subscription, I tell them “Get rid of Clive, then I might consider. His column is utter trash and lies.”

Is Dianne able to post the column anywhere else since T&G didn’t publish? I would love to read her view on the whole Mosaic situation.

    • scrapdogg
      February 5, 2016 at 11:29 am

I bet if Diane shared her unpublished column with the Turtle she would irreparably damage her business with T&G. Even if she even just put it out there on her own blog she would most definitely be in hot water. Everything about her identifies herself as a columnist for the T&G and unless shes ready to retire we are never going to see those words sadly.

        February 5, 2016 at 12:59 pm

I figured as much, but as I’m not familiar with the process I was hoping there was some sort of “7 day non-independently publish” rule that someone would know about.

I have been receiving emails for months from the Telegram, practically begging me to re-subscribe. I was even considering it because the price was soooo low. I am no longer considering it AT ALL, knowing now exactly where the Telegram stands on this issue.

More importantly TB, the city has yet again failed to plow, salt or sand the streets in a timely or satisfactory manner. (Friday 2/5/16).
